A Sorcerer’s Journey
Chapter 1084 - 1086: Radiation Grand World
"Quick! Everyone, open the Sorcerer’s Cloak, scatter!"
The sky was filled with the smell of burning, explosions coming from all directions, making it impossible to discern the situation. Mechanical objects frequently plummeted to the ground trailing thick black smoke. Higher in the sky, multicolored, brilliant fluorescence illuminated the area—a land perpetually filled with lethal radiation.
The continent constantly emitted radiation varying from 50 to 200 degrees, with occasional spikes potentially exceeding 1000 degrees. These unstable radiation rules could kill lower-grade life forms at any moment, marking it as one of the dangerous rule worlds.
Light.
In this vast grand world, within the boundless battlefield, Green’s recently descended Space Fortress was insignificant and completely ignored by the massive legions of both sides.
Green had just breached the Gate of Space-Time, only to find that his original planned descent base was amidst a fervent battle. The endless battlefield was covered in metal robot debris and slave monster bodies, accumulating into almost an endless carpet tens of meters thick. Numerous Space Fortresses and Void Motherships were also crashing down.
At this moment, the war appeared to be nearing its end; both sides were gradually ceasing fire. Yet occasionally, an energy beam of hundreds of thousands of degrees would pierce the sky, conducting strategic attacks.
The Space Fortress Command immediately closed the Fortress Wizard Cover and dispersed all the Wizard Legions, Slave Legions, Space Airships, and Mechanical Puppet Legions.
In this civilization war, the Space Fortress was no longer the powerful and reliable fortress it once was in the Demon Hunting Expedition.
Here, high-level attacks could appear at any moment. Only by having these wizards spread out over a vast area of the battlefield could greater power be harnessed.
Boom!
Standing at the fortress’s edge, the other side of the base was hit by an AT Force Cannon. Fortunately, it was just the aftermath, with not too high a degree, causing some damage but nothing severe. The fortress’s alarm kept blaring incessantly.
"Damn it, wasn’t a Moonlake True Spirit Sorcerer supposed to be stationed at this base? How did the fight reach here!" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
Xiao Ba, startled by the apocalyptic scene upon descending, was exclaiming, but Green’s three-colored light eyes gazed intently at tens of thousands of meters outside the Space Fortress. A Metal Terminator, leading tens of thousands of robots, charged into the still-chaotic Light Wizard Legion.
These Demon-Hunting Bright Wizards were clearly less disciplined than the pure Demon-Hunting Bright Wizards of the past, filled with numerous Arcane Wizards, which is why they were caught off guard.
Upon arriving on the battlefield and making a quick assessment, realizing the overall situation of this war was that the metal robots’ attacking side had been utterly defeated, Green finally took a sigh of relief. Over four hundred blood-red moons loomed in the sky, emitting an ominous glow, many spewing black smoke. Countless low-grade wizards and Stigma Sorcerers revealing their true forms crisscrossed each other.
Evidently, Green had merely caught the tail end of the war.
Crackle!
Light and darkness intertwined, producing an unsettling high-frequency vibration. A black arc of lightning sliced through space, twisting the surrounding light, targeting the Metal Terminator leading the robots.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom...
Some metal robots stared with indifferent eyes as energy rifles in their arms retaliated. Yet they could not halt the high-intensity black arc, which struck the liquid metal terminator directly.
Stigma Sorcerers intervened, especially one of such magnitude as Green, naturally causing a stir in a localized area of the battlefield.
Struck by the Annihilation Force, half of the Metal Terminator vanished as if wiped out from existence, catching some Great Sorcerers preparing to disperse Negative Magnetic Pole Metal Powder off guard. Could this Stigmata Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower indeed obliterate the undying body of a liquid metal terminator?
Unlike conflicts with other biological groups, the low-grade metal robots processed streams of data following the destruction of their leader, showing no negative emotional impact. Judging that Green posed no threat of attack loss, they launched suicidal assaults towards the Light Wizard Legion, aiming to inflict greater wounds on the wizard side.
"This world, perpetually shrouded under the Wizard’s Will, has metal robots opened wormholes here? Who knows how many Metal Destroyers have gathered in this world!"
While Green was muttering to himself, a Space Fortress hundreds of thousands of meters away started emitting thick smoke, beginning to slowly sink amidst the exclamations of the many Demon Hunting wizards, seemingly on the verge of crashing. Even the wizards inside the command had given up, flying out one after the other.
With several Elemental Teleports, Green disappeared from his original spot, appearing beneath the fortress before it could completely crash.
Seven-Colored Runes flowing across his visage, he gazed at the sky at the overwhelming metal fortress, while the third light eye on his forehead, accompanied by six pairs of compound eyes, blinked incessantly in an uncanny manner. With a low shout amidst the surging magic power, an unbelievable repulsion force began to slow the descent of the Space Fortress.
"Hurry up, help!"
Amidst Xiao Ba’s shouting, a mechanical Stigmata Sorcerer flew over. His body had been modified with some non-metal synthetic materials, glowing purple and covered with auxiliary arms, displaying unknown capabilities.
Bang!
This mechanical wizard aided in supporting the Space Fortress. Then, a command was sent to the Wizard Legion, roaring, "What are you still standing around for? Get in there and restore the power system!"
Hundreds of technical elite core wizards rushed in. This was a wizard legion dominated by Mechanical Wizards, for whom repairing the Space Fortress was an everyday task compared to Elemental Wizards, to whom it was as foreign as a tall tale.
"Master Elementalist, I am a Mechanical Auxiliary Arm Stigmata Sorcerer from the Eternal Sky City. Thank you for your intervention; otherwise, we would’ve lost another Space Fortress for nothing."
While the two were supporting the fortress, the mechanical wizard spoke to Green.
"Wahaha, my master is a Stigmata Sorcerer from the Oblivion Tower, dispatched by the Two Rings True Spirit Wizard. I heard the situation here isn’t looking good, eh?"
Xiao Ba surveyed the surroundings, deducing from the endless debris on the ground that frequent offensive and defensive battles took place there, layers of ruins covering the land.
"Indeed, it’s not promising."
The mechanical auxiliary arm Stigmata Sorcerer spoke in a low tone, seemingly a bit discouraged, adding, "Having Mechanical Wizards guard this world is inherently an error—or, rather, it’s because the Mechanical Wizards saw that we were responsible for guarding here that the Skynet Will chose this place as a breakthrough point!"
"What’s that supposed to mean? I just saw some strangely shaped metal robots, easily hundreds of meters in size, which I haven’t seen on other battlefields!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
As Green was speaking, three mechanical bees swiftly **** approached from afar. Green noticed that these three mechanical bees utilized the Seven-Ring Holy Towers’ biological mechanical synthetic beast technology, with a layer of soft tissue and some biological keratin layers growing over the metal surface, appearing quite eerie.
"Is this the great Stigmata Sorcerer of the Oblivion Tower?"
Three Level-3 Mechanical Great Sorcerers flew out, marked as guardians of the Eternal Sky City, accompanied by a Curse Wizard and an Elemental Wizard.
"Yes."
Green nodded in response. After confirming Green wasn’t a Black Terminator, one of the Level-3 Mechanical Great Sorcerers, in a solemn tone, stated, "The Moonlake Mechanical True Spirit Sorcerer requests you to come over immediately."
Formally taking out a task order, it emitted the vast will aura belonging to a True Spirit Wizard.
