Abandoned Omega: Wanted by the Bigshots in the Military Academy
Chapter 289: Liquid Courage
He hadn’t thought much of just holding Zoe Pierce before, but now, after sleeping with her just once, his entire body felt so comfortable.
Once he was sure Zoe Pierce was no longer uncomfortable, he stopped rubbing her leg.
Aaron Xavier glanced at the darkening sky but ultimately decided not to say anything just yet.
Instead, he and Zoe Pierce ate a leisurely dinner and watched some random shows until, at last, it was time for bed.
As the clock ticked closer to midnight, Zoe Pierce knew she couldn’t escape what was coming.
As the hour grew later, Aaron Xavier’s gaze became more and more brazen.
He said nothing, just stared at her intently with a knowing smile.
’If I can’t escape it, I may as well face it willingly.’
Zoe Pierce finally stood up and set her book aside.
Aaron Xavier, a few steps behind her, heard her say, "I’m going to shower first."
Both of them knew full well what was about to happen.
Even Zoe’s walk betrayed an urge to escape.
Aaron Xavier saw her walk into the bedroom and chuckled. "I’ll use the downstairs shower and come up."
He didn’t want to give Zoe too much time. Her shyness was cute, but the thought of finally having her was far more delightful.
Zoe’s pace quickened. "Suit yourself."
Inside the bathroom, Zoe glanced at her reflection in the mirror. Her cheeks were still flushed, and her eyes darted away shyly.
After a quick glance, she splashed her face with water.
Then she undressed and took a shower.
A quick shower didn’t take long for either of them.
Especially with an automatic drying machine.
In less than ten minutes, she was completely clean.
Zoe’s gaze fell on her Space Button. She changed into a fresh set of clothes and walked out of the bathroom.
She was fast, but Aaron Xavier was faster.
So fast it was almost like he cheated.
On the spacious, soft bed, a figure was already lying there.
His upper body was bare, but he was covered by a blanket.
Zoe stole a glance, not daring to wonder if Aaron Xavier was wearing anything under the blanket.
She stood at the bathroom door, and Aaron Xavier didn’t rush her.
The lighting was dim. It wasn’t the bedside lamp, but a tiny hand lamp placed near the door.
Even dimmer than the bedside lamp.
It reduced her visible shyness to a minimum.
Zoe Pierce suddenly walked towards the door. "Wait for me."
Aaron, who had just started to sit up, settled back onto the bed. His voice was huskier than it had been during the day. "Okay."
He waited for fifteen minutes.
This wait felt even longer than when Zoe had been in the shower.
Aaron Xavier finally swung his legs out of bed.
He had to go find Zoe.
Just as he stood up, he heard the door CREAK open.
The person who had vanished for fifteen minutes finally walked in.
As soon as she entered, Aaron Xavier caught a scent.
He sniffed the air before walking over and grabbing Zoe’s hand. "Did you go drinking?"
The Omega carried the faint scent of alcohol. As he drew closer, the smell grew stronger, overpowering even her pheromones.
In that short time, Zoe hadn’t drunk enough to get wasted. It was also less than she’d had last time.
But it was impossible to say it had no effect on her at all.
She could clearly feel the alcohol slowly starting to take effect.
"I was a little scared," she replied.
Aaron Xavier gently hugged her. "Were you really that scared?"
Zoe buried her head in Aaron’s chest. She hesitated for a moment before admitting, "Embarrassed."
Aaron Xavier had never imagined Zoe Pierce would resort to drinking.
He still remembered clearly what she was like the last time she drank.
She’d been such a handful.
But now, smelling the alcohol on her and listening to her soft, wheedling tone, his heart began to pound.
It was just a light hug, but his body responded uncontrollably.
He let out a heavy breath, saying nothing more.
He just kissed her slowly.
Throughout the day, Zoe Pierce had grown accustomed to Aaron Xavier’s kisses.
Lingering, intimate kisses.
On her cheeks, her earlobes.
Their steps unconsciously led them toward the soft, comfortable bed.
At first, Aaron was the one coaxing her.
He pleased her with the lingering kisses he’d been giving her all day.
Then he continued to coax her gently.
The alcohol had certainly made Zoe much bolder.
And with the excuse of being drunk, it was as if everything that followed had a protective shield.
It all happened too fast, too intensely.
She was still in a daze, unable to process what had happened, while Aaron had already rolled over to grab a tissue.
Her eyes glistened with moisture, and there were unavoidable traces on her cheeks and in her long hair.
"Aaron..." The alcohol was taking full effect now. Zoe’s cheeks were crimson, and her voice was a thin, plaintive cry when she called his name.
Aaron had never felt so much like he was at someone’s beck and call.
Making sure her lips were clean, he hastily replied, "I’m here..."
Zoe Pierce pushed him. "I want to rinse my mouth..."
Aaron immediately carried her to the bathroom.
Rinsing her mouth, washing her face.
In the process, her clothes got partially wet.
And so the Alpha had a new excuse.
"Change into some clean clothes, or you’ll be uncomfortable."
Zoe touched the damp spot on her chest and didn’t refuse.
And so, the Omega who returned to bed was no longer wearing her half-damp nightgown.
The skin that had been damp now met the cool air, and a small shiver of goosebumps broke out across it.
But it was quickly followed by a searingly hot body pressing against her from behind.
An Alpha’s body temperature was much higher than an Omega’s.
Zoe then heard Aaron coaxing her, "Sweetheart, did that feel good just now?" 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
He turned her over, forcing her to face him.
She said in a soft voice, "It did..."
Aaron’s breath hitched. "Do you want to feel even better?"
But Zoe didn’t answer. She just looked at him in silence for a few moments, then suddenly moved.
Her arms wrapped around Aaron’s neck.
Everything after that was a haze.
Zoe remembered complaining several times that it was uncomfortable, trying to kick Aaron away.
But Aaron kept whispering in her ear, pleading with her.
Things like, "Sweetheart."
And how she was torturing him.
And, "Please, I’m begging you."
He said so much.
All she did was complain about being uncomfortable—the uncomfortable fullness, the uncomfortable loss of control, the uncomfortable, constant rocking.
She even whimpered in displeasure when Aaron gave her a temporary mark.
Zoe couldn’t remember what Aaron said at that moment. It was as if he hadn’t said anything at all, just stared at her with a ferociously intense gaze.
It was as if her whimpers were being smothered.
’He didn’t want her to speak...’
The last of the alcohol’s effects, mixed with the relentless rocking, became too much for Zoe to bear.
She didn’t know when she fell asleep.
All she knew was that she and Aaron had been tangled together for most of the night.
When she woke up the next day, completely sober, for a moment she didn’t know whether it was a good thing she had been drinking or not.
’After all, she never would have done what she did last night if she hadn’t been drunk.’
All the bedding on the bed had been changed, and Aaron was still asleep.
