In the Biyou Palace, King Li of Heaven announced the decree of the Jade Emperor the Great Heavenly Venerate, which stated that the Great Heavenly Venerate appreciated Chen Shi for spreading the Dharma throughout the world and contributing to the Immortal Gods society. Hence, Chen Shi was conferred the title of Supreme Sage and Dharma Transmission Ancestor.

Chen Shi accepted the decree, expressed his gratitude to the Great Heavenly Venerate, and placed the decree beside the axe.

King Li of Heaven also brought a plaque handwritten by the Jade Emperor, which Chen Shi hung in the main hall of the inner palace of Biyou Palace.

The two left the main hall.

King Li of Heaven laughed and said, "Heavenly King Chen... now I can no longer call you Heavenly King Chen; I must call you Mr. Chen. Mr. Chen, I may have offended you in the past, please forgive me. In the future, as I cultivate the Primordial Talisman, I will have to respectfully call you Ancestor!"

He was in high spirits, completely devoid of the bad luck he exhibited upon seeing Chen Shi before.

As the saying goes, joy refreshes the spirit, King Li of Heaven obtained a gourd of Yuqing Dao Spring from Chen Shi, and upon returning, he finally broke through, achieving Daluo Golden Immortal status, sweeping away the bad luck from previous years.

Now, as Chen Shi spreads the Dao across the world, the Primordial Talisman is extremely important to Immortal Gods, especially to figures like King Li of Heaven who cultivate both Immortal and God Cultivation. The Primordial Talisman can integrate their Divine and Immortal Cultivation!

He assessed Chen Shi, noticing the Great Dao Qi from the void, and was moved, "Mr. Chen, are you about to achieve Taiyi Golden Immortal?"

King Li of Heaven said, "That’s precisely the key to the difficulty of achieving the Great Dao. When one cultivates to the Taiyi Golden Immortal Realm, one must achieve enlightenment. Enlightenment means the convergence of Dao Images, forming the Dao. This Dao belongs to the cultivator.

"Enlightenment is not Harmonization; Harmonization means combining one’s Dao Skills with the Heaven and Earth Great Dao, without contradiction or conflict, but may have deficiencies, gaps, remnants, or lack. Enlightenment is remarkable; regardless of what Dao Skills or Dao Images you practiced before, all must become one. If not unified, enlightenment cannot be achieved.

"For example, practicing the Thunder Righteous Method involves five thunders, heavenly thunder, community thunder, etc. During enlightenment, various thunder method Dao Images will converge within the cultivator, forming the Thunder Great Dao. When the Thunder Great Dao matures, a Thunder Dao Flower will form above."

He carefully identified Chen Shi’s Great Dao Qi and said, "Mr. Chen’s Dao Skills are extensive, not only including Immortal Dao but also Outer Dao such as Demon Path and more, with numerous types, many of which conflict with each other. However, whether they conflict or not, they must merge into one; otherwise, enlightenment cannot be achieved."

"Your Dao Skills are too diverse; astonishingly, you even have Divine Dao! Mr. Chen, enlightenment will likely be exceedingly difficult for you!"

Chen Shi frowned slightly and asked, "Then, how can one achieve enlightenment?"

King Li of Heaven replied, "Abandon extra Dao Skills and primarily cultivate one Great Dao to achieve enlightenment. If you wish to practice the Demon Path, then focus solely on the Demon Path; if you wish to practice the Immortal Dao, then focus solely on the Immortal Dao. Do not be indecisive."

Chen Shi resolutely shook his head, "No way!"

King Li of Heaven shook his head, "Mr. Chen is reluctant; I can offer no assistance."

Chen Shi glanced at him, "Daoist, practicing Divine Dao for many years, do you have a Cultivation Technique? Let me see."

King Li of Heaven, not stingy, took out a Heavenly Book and handed it to him, "This God Cultivation Method of mine is called the Heavenly Treasure Illumination Scripture; feel free to take it, Mr. Chen."

Even Mr. Chen is the General of the World of the Great Heavenly Venerate. These 200,000 Heavenly Soldiers and Generals, including Mr. Chen, are all Your Majesty’s eyes!"

Chen Shi suddenly realized, laughing heartily to cover his embarrassment, "I almost forgot; I’m still the venerate’s soldier. So, Daoist Li, did you also acquire the Primordial Talisman, or did you plant numerous eyes in my Penglai West?"

King Li of Heaven hurriedly replied, "Mr. Chen’s 200,000 disciples were originally my personal soldiers; those with concern for me passed several Primordial Talismans to me, not as eyes! Besides, my life is in Mr. Chen’s hands; it is I who am Mr. Chen’s eye."

Chen Shi laughed, "Daoist Li, you speak too seriously. Don’t rush to leave; stay a few more days on Golden Turtle Island. I have just begun cultivating Divine Dao; instruct me more."

King Li of Heaven shook his head, "Mr. Chen, why seek far when help is near? Emperor Houtu Earth God excels in Divine Dao far more than I can imagine; Mr. Chen, being Crown Prince of Houde Palace, why not meet Emperor Houtu Earth God?"

Chen Shi hesitated, not forcing him to stay.

King Li of Heaven took his leave and said, "Dou Mu, Thunder Ancestor, and Emperor of Plague are also skilled in Divine Dao; Mr. Chen, with your proximity, consulting them surpasses my knowledge."

Chen Shi saw him off without saying anything.

Once King Li was far away, he thought silently, "To meet my foster mother and seek her Divine Dao? I feel guilty...but Houde Palace, I must visit to alter my foster mother’s Primordial Talisman!"

He resolved to seek out Little Dun Fairy and said, "My lady, I need to take a trip to Xuanhuang Sea to see my foster mother. This time, accompany me."

Little Dun Fairy, surprised; in the past, Chen Shi needed her to stay behind and guard, why did he want her to accompany him this time?

Chen Shi stated, "Penglai West now has Chang Chun Emperor and others guarding, relatively secure, join me so we can watch over each other on the journey."

Little Dun sensed he was worried, saying one thing but thinking another.

At this moment, a voice came from afar, echoing through the heavens, "Mahasthamaprapta, First Ancestor of the Western Heaven Dharma Realm, requests to see Mr. Chen!"

Chen Shi heard this, slightly stunned.

Little Dun Fairy inquired, "Who is Mahasthamaprapta? Do you know him, husband?"

Chen Shi said, "I also don’t know who Mahasthamaprapta is...Ah, when Chu Xiangxiu sought revenge, that Mud Bodhisattva trapped in Outer Dao pollution was supposedly called Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva! Why is he coming? I don’t recognize him."

Little Dun Fairy advised, "A visitor from afar is a guest; he’s likely sent by the Buddha of Western Heaven; listen to what he says before leaving."

Chen Shi temporarily dismissed the idea of leaving and instructed to invite him.

At that moment, another voice declared, "Puxian of Western Heaven Ling Mountain, orders to visit Mr. Chen!"

Little Dun Fairy looked at Chen Shi, who shook his head, "I also don’t know. I only recognize the Buddha and old monk Yun Cheng in Ling Mountain."

Just as he said this, another resonant voice rang out, "Fahua Forest of Western Heaven Douluo Heavenly requests to see Mr. Chen!"
