The Dark Moon conflict is one of the few struggles among the upper echelons of Terra’s major powers that even ordinary people are aware of.

The consequences it brought forth have unimaginably affected future generations, and the ripples of its aftermath have yet to fully dissipate to this day. Not to mention, from these ripples emerged the Silverpeak Seer, who now stirs the world, making many who only have a partial understanding of the event eager to delve into the reasons behind it.

Of course, apart from Ian, there is another extremely important factor.

That is, years ago, during the Sun Battle, the persona of ’Inega II’ descended equally upon every person in this world.

They cannot deceive themselves.

Some of them began to imitate Inega II’s wisdom during his possession, attempting to become better individuals, while others feigned ignorance and used the wisdom left behind to dupe the people. However, people have become increasingly harder to deceive now.

As for other ordinary people, they do not truly see Inega II as a distant emperor, but rather as an elder they have once interacted with.

During the month or so of Inega II’s existence, he solved many people’s problems.

In remote villages, the local water supply was addressed; those confused about why crops were sick resolved local plagues; indebted drifters found methods to turn their lives around, and young people who had their inheritance seized ultimately relied on their own means to reclaim it.

Many people’s lives experienced dramatic changes due to Inega II. Two years have passed, and their lives have set on a better path.

Yet even so, including Inega II himself, he was not quite clear on what the Dark Moon conflict was all about.

For him, regardless of some plans he had previously made, once the events unfolded, it was merely a discovery that his eldest son was attacked, he went to assist, and then fell into an ambush.

Following that was the battle, a hard-won victory, and then death.

Therefore, when Ian Silverpeak suddenly began broadcasting to the whole world to talk about the Dark Moon conflict, no one felt it was abrupt.

The thought that was on the minds of the vast majority of people was, ’It’s about time he talked about it!’

But it was unlike what anyone imagined.

According to Ian’s view through Foresight View and his brother Alan seeing through Retrospective World, he could basically conclude that the Dark Moon conflict of the past was an unconscious collective ambush by the countries of Terra aimed at Inega II and Hiliard.

However, the core of it was the betrayal of Crown Prince Anpid and the Queen.

Axel’s brother, Inega II’s eldest son, Anpid Sertal, was an exceptionally outstanding young man. His power had reached the Fourth Energy Level early on, and his mastery over the Sublimation Path and knowledge were extremely superior. If Inega II was seen as a heaven-sent monarch, then Anpid was the perfect heir.

Yet precisely because Anpid was too excellent, his over-keen perception detected some suspicious actions of his father.

Firstly, many times, Inega II would leave the Heart Light Body to handle governance, while he and Hiliard mysteriously disappeared without revealing their destinations. Furthermore, sometimes, he would even leave without Hiliard, not disclosing the purpose to either him or the Queen Mother.
