Boom!

Various powers merged into a terrifying black light, spinning and emitting horrifying howls as it whizzed towards the three in front. The power was unprecedentedly strong, and even Nim, who always snorted at Yake, shouted out in anxiety! 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"We’re in danger!" Nim said and tried to rush out, but he was held back by Long Yi.

"It’s already over." Before Long Yi finished speaking, a violent blast of energy spat out from the bottom of the giant floating island overhead. The energy easily shattered Yake’s deathly black light, sweeping everything in its path. It slashed right through Yake, severely cutting off almost half of his body!

This sudden event caught everyone off guard. Why did the Dragon Clan suddenly assist the White Dragon Empire?

Even though Yake was bifurcated, the beam had not caused any further harm, it only sliced him in half. Black smoke surged from the halves of Yake’s body, pulling the two split sections back together. However, the cut area was completely torched, slowing down the rate of recovery.

At this point, Yake’s superhuman strength had disappeared, and his body began to shrink back to its original size, just over three meters tall. But the rage on his face was indomitable!

"Dragon Clan, you owe me an explanation! If you want to kill me! I’m right here! Don’t play any covert tricks! Yake Black, the Emperor of the Black Dragon Empire, fears no one!" Yake roared.

"What explanation do you want?" In mid-air, the Old Dragon Judge looked puzzled.

"Why did you attack me for no reason!" Yake roared back.

"Because you continued your assault after they announced their surrender. That’s against the rules." The Old Dragon replied leisurely.

"Surrender? Did my Spectres mess up your brain? Who told you they surrendered!" Yake seemed on the verge of insanity. It was such a great opportunity to kill all three of them! Once the three women were killed, it would drive Long Yi mad. Just the thought of driving Long Yi insane made Yake feel like the world around him was becoming more beautiful.

"They have surrendered."

The Old Dragon waved his hand, and the hanging list of advancement in the sky turned into an image. As Yake launched his strongest attack, Suolin, in dragon shape, roared.

And that roar was a genuine dragon language. Dragon language comes in two types; one which humans can learn, and the other, exclusive to the Dragon Clan.

No one realized until then, that the three girls were still considering a counterattack even at such a critical moment. They even managed to trick Yake with the help of the Dragon Clan! It was a pity that the Dragon Clan didn’t go all out, merely severing Yake’s body. Nevertheless, the Clan’s single attack which nullified Yake’s terrifying strike demonstrated their formidable strength.

Yake looked back and saw Tilian nodding subtly from the stands, indicating that the Dragon Clan was telling the truth. Above his head, Yake Black’s name had already been advanced. But Yake felt like he was about to explode from rage. His only motive to challenge these three girls was to kill them. Not only it would infuriate Long Yi, but it would also remove a future threat on the battlefield for the Black Dragon Empire. After all, any girl from the trio was a tremendous threat to the Black Dragon Empire’s Dragon Riders.

His goal was not achieved but instead, he fell into a trap!

Looking at the weak smiles on the faces of the three girls, Yake was tempted to rush over, kill them all, and swallow them whole! But in the end, he couldn’t do it. The unprovoked attack from the Dragon Clan had made him realize their strength was nothing to be scoffed at. No one dared disrespect the Dragon Clan on Dragon Island!

"Hehe, hehehe, petty cleverness... I hope these petty tricks can save you on the battlefield." Laughing dryly, Yake said nothing more and turned away. He was the victor, even though he failed to kill, he was still the victor.

Cheers erupted from the Black Dragon Empire’s side, but the cheers for the three girls from the White Dragon Empire were even louder!

The three girls, standing up against a freak like Yake, were only at a slight disadvantage! Their resilience was nothing short of extraordinary!

Ai Lin and Suolin were both very tired at this moment. Their Mana and Fighting Aura had been exhausted, and there were still injuries on their bodies. The residual power of death inhibited their natural recovery. Ruosha laughed, put down the huge anchor for Ai Lin and Suolin to sit on, carried the anchor herself, and hurriedly ran to the stands. As she approached the stands, Ruosha lightly leaped, the small figure carrying the anchor, along with the two girls on the anchor, easily landing in front of Long Yi!

"Beautifully done!" Long Yi drew the two into a passionate embrace. All he got in return was a cry of pain.

"Ah! Sorry, sorry!" Long Yi quickly let go as the two girls were still injured especially with the deadly force inhibiting their bodies’ recovery abilities.

"Sorry, I made you worry." Ai Lin looked at Long Yi sheepishly. She had been watching Long Yi throughout the fight. She saw the anxiety in Long Yi’s shouts, even mobilizing the entire team of the White Dragon Empire. They wanted to surrender early on, but Ai Lin had a bold idea in mind. Suolin and Ruosha approved of Ai Lin’s plan after quickly exchanging ideas through the contract. However, Ai Lin didn’t tell Long Yi because she knew he would never agree to it. Allowing them to join the battlefield was Long Yi’s limit. How could he let them risk their lives further?
