"Brother Long!" The Dark Saintess excitedly called out on seeing Long Yi. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Long Yi approached her, seeing tiny beads of sweat on her forehead and a tired expression on her face. Her pride and excitement, however, were clearly visible.

"What...What are you doing?" Long Yi asked, confused. He observed the objects curled up in front of him which were almost as tall as him. "What...are these?"

"These are a brand-new application of the knowledge we acquired in the process of researching the golem!"

Pride shone on the face of the Dark Saintess.

Turns out, the Dark Clan, also known as the core clan created by the giants, was like those who know how to operate a machine but not how to create it. They didn’t understand how golems worked, so they had been researching how to restore and recreate golems underground. After acquiring a golem from the elves, the Dark Saintess had personally visited the White Dragon Empire to inspect it. The conclusion was that recreating the shell of a golem was easy, but reconstructing its power system was still a challenge.

However, the Dark Clan obtained a lot of knowledge through their natural understanding of golems. At least, they managed to restore a miniaturized power system! "There are a total of thirty thousand combat golems here. All have your mark, and you can command them to do anything!"

The Dark Saintess excitedly said.

The sound of metal collision echoed as the completely closed mechanism split open, and a metal golem clad in heavy armor slowly stood up. "The giants had designed some small automatic golems to protect humans, but they were never really constructed since they weren’t needed and stayed only in blueprint phase. Our ancestors, being the core clan, had seen those blueprints. We just followed these blueprints to reconstruct this golem, but the power system is our original invention!"
