Chapter 651: Chapter 520: I Want Revenge!

Returning to the ruins, the Dragon Power of White Dragon still lingered in the surroundings. As Yake landed on the ruins, these forces converged, aiming to attack him. However, Yake unleashed a burst of Fighting Aura, scattering the Dragon Power in the vicinity. Like a madman, he began to dig through the ruins of the Imperial Palace. Despite being a member of the Dragon Clan and having a robust body, constant excavation led to his claws bleeding. Finally, after lifting a piece of broken wall, a door appeared beneath.

The door opened from the inside, and a bloodied Tilian crawled out.

"Your Majesty, what happened!"

Tilian asked as he got up. But when he saw his surroundings, he immediately understood. Only one thing in this world could cause such catastrophic damage!

"Get me Rongka and tell him I’m willing to pay any price as long as he helps me win the war!"

Yake growled in a hushed tone. His eyes were void of any emotion; he had completely lost his sanity.

"Yes, Your Majesty. The deepest lab should be unaffected, and the door to Hell is located even further down. We will head there as soon as a passage is cleared," Tilian said.

However, Yake raised his wings, dramatically flapping, shattering the debris that covered the ground and revealing a hole.

"The passage is here, we go now!"

The destructive power from the explosion of the three ’intercontinental missiles’ was immense, the underground laboratory was in chaos - some areas even collapsed. However, due to its deep underground location, these could hardly be considered losses.

As Tilian made his way there, his face was streaked with blood, but he wore a constant smile. He seemed to be eagerly anticipating his encounter with Rongka.

Given his current state as a Black Dragon, Yake wouldn’t fit into the deepest underground chambers. Yake delegated full authority to Tilian. As Yake’s servant, Tilian could be remotely controlled by Yake to open the door to Hell. This approach protected Yake and facilitated negotiation with Rongka.

A flash of light broke the tranquility of the space; Tilian’s eyes were gleaming. Next, Tilian lit up a long-lasting Mage-Lamp that sat nearby.

A huge, black stone door stood eerily in the middle of the altar. Ghastly characters etched on the door. Even though Tilian didn’t understand what they were, he could imagine the horror hidden behind those characters.

"I have arrived," Tilian reported he was speaking to Yake on the other side of the bond.

Immediately, Tilian’s body started to move involuntarily. Yake’s power entered his body, guiding his hands to press on the stone door. Instantly activated, an energy vortex formed in the door and subsequently, the vortex tore apart space, letting out an ancient, terrifying aura!

Merely in an instant, the skin on Tilian’s body dried up, fractured, and blood oozing out instantly turned black!

"It seems you haven’t opened this door in a while... This was not our agreement," a hoarse voice echoed. Just from the voice, Tilian felt like his own body would shatter.

"Indeed, because we are at war and we are under suppression from Long Yi," Yake replied through Tilian’s body.

"Oh? Even with my soldiers helping you, you still do not have the upper hand?" The hoarse voice seemed somewhat dissatisfied.

"No, your soldiers haven’t taken the stage yet." Yake explained what had transpired over the days. When the voice learned that the Imperial Palace was destroyed by the falling Beetle Missiles, it immediately cheered up, and the pressure on Tilian disappeared!

"Yes! I knew something interesting would happen! Hahaha! So, what do you want, Yake Black?"

"I want weapons, weapons that can rival those missiles!" Yake growled. He hadn’t expected Rongka to show such interest. Dealing with Rongka was simple; he did not require a trade but instead helped based on his interest. As long as he was interested, he would offer you anything.

"I don’t have such weapons. However, I can give you something that can withstand them."

The hoarse voice echoed.

"But, it won’t be free, right?"

Yake managed to mutter these words through Tilian’s body.

"Yes, trading is only fair. You want something, you must pay a price. Especially given that you have violated our agreement once, your trustworthiness is no longer as solid." The raspy voice continued.

"What do you want." Yake was extremely anxious, even though he wasn’t physically present. Powerful and eternal emperor Rongka was too formidable; he was uncertain that his tricks would work.

"It’s simple, this time I don’t want your loyalty, nor do I want your submission; I only want you to give me an assurance."

"What kind of assurance?"

"Assure me that you can deliver Long Yi and those around him alive to this gate of Hell. They are Long Yi, Ai Lin, Suolin, Ruosha, Isrile, Fine Gold Golem, Wesley, the great chef, and Mosquito." The voice declared.

"Are you kidding me? It’s a big enough task to kill them, and you’re expecting me to capture them alive?"

"I find them far more interesting alive than as my undying warriors. My Hell also needs some exciting individuals. Of course, if you can’t do it, that’s fine. After all, you’re just a weak human—even if you were in the body of a Dragon Clan member, you’re still just a weak human. However, if you can do it, I could offer you a great price— for instance, allowing you to truly enter a higher Plane, granting you immortality, or, if you wish, I can even let you become the ruler of a Plane."

The raspy voice spoke leisurely, but Yake’s heartbeat quickened. Shackles may make him rebellious, but temptation will make him charge forward!

"I accept your bargain!"

Yake said.

"Very well, for that, I’m going to give you something..."

As he spoke, the gate of Hell echoed with heavy breathing. Tilian hastily retreated, then a gigantic toad slowly emerged. This toad had a few large mushrooms growing on its back. With each move it made, black beetles the size of fingernails flew out from under the mushroom caps, only to burrow back into them.

"This is the Dark Cloud Toad, sporting the Dark Cloud Poisonous Umbrella on its back. It feeds solely on rotten things, even Undead can become its food. When gorged, it produces an endless supply of Dark Cloud Beetles, which eat everything, even Dragon Power. These beetles swarm like clouds in the sky above the Dark Cloud Toad. Anything that approaches them will be devoured."

The raspy voice explained to Yake. Its related knowledge was imprinted directly into Yake’s mind.

With this, there is no longer any threat to me from the sky.

Yake watched as Dark Cloud Toads emerged from the Hell’s gate. Clearly, they were not just for defense! They were also prime weapons for attack! With the defense provided by Dark Cloud Beetles, not even Dragon Knights could easily take to the sky!

With this advantage in my hands, White Dragon Empire, what tricks do you have left?

Within the day, inexplicably, the entire world was abuzz with the news that the Black Dragon Imperial Palace had been utterly decimated! According to some spies, they saw three giant beetles fly from the outskirts of the White Dragon Imperial City, but no one expected these three beetles to land directly above the Black Dragon Imperial Palace!

Such terrifying range! Such terrifying power! Such terrifying accuracy! If Long Yi wanted to destroy an enemy, he wouldn’t even have to lift a finger!

The whole world was dumbstruck.

Not long ago, when Dragon Island assisted the Black Dragon Empire, everyone thought that the White Dragon Empire was doomed. But then Long Yi’s Mount Dragon, Bajie, alone buried two hundred black dragons! Then, when the Black Dragon Empire released endless Undead, people once again thought the White Dragon Empire was doomed. Yet, the White Dragon Empire actually deployed unheard-of forces, twice repelling the Black Dragon Empire’s attacks!

Now, when everyone thought the White Dragon Empire could only passively defend, Long Yi’s Beetle Missiles directly bombed the Black Dragon’s Imperial Palace!

This was simply unbelievable! How could a war be conducted under these circumstances? Originally, the Black Dragon Empire had the upper hand, pressing with a hundred thousand Giant Dragons at the border, attacking as they pleased. The White Dragon Empire was limited to small maneuvers around the border, nearly defenseless.

However now, the enemy’s missiles could fall directly on your head while you sat at home! They even crossed two countries and migrated from one imperial city to another imperial city!

This was simply unheard of, an attack method that had never appeared in human history!

This meant that once a war between two countries began, there was no such concept as a ’rear guard’. No matter where you were, no matter where you hid, Long Yi’s missiles could fall directly!

Facing such an enemy, could the Black Dragon Empire still win?

At this point, some smaller nations suddenly realized, their choice of alliances was perhaps too hasty. The strength displayed by the White Dragon Empire far exceeded everyone’s expectations, including the citizens of the White Dragon Empire themselves.

So, some wavering small nations sent envoys, very sincerely requesting Kirei’s forgiveness, asking Kirei to forgive them for not standing with the White Empire during the war. Kirei generously forgave them, after all, for these small countries their stance in the war was not significant. At this stage of the war, it was no longer something these small nations could participate in.

Kirei’s magnanimity let these small nations breathe a sigh of relief. Being a small nation, they knew that their stance did not matter to a superpower like the White Dragon Empire. But they were afraid that if Kirei was pissed off, he might just drop two missiles, and they would instantly lose their nations.

For a time, the world’s bias seemed to be shifting towards the White Dragon Empire. (To be continued. If you like this work, please come to qidian.com and vote monthly. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile phone users, please read on m.qidian.com.)
