Feeling Mason Lawson’s hand slip under the hem of her shirt, Eve Vaughn quickly pulled away. "Mason, we can’t... not today," she said, flustered and nervous.

Eve Vaughn blushed, embarrassed. "It’s... that time of the month. It started yesterday."

Ethan Lawson and Autumn Woods walked in just in time to witness this scene.

The pair were practically seething. The Vaughn Family was facing an urgent crisis, yet here was Mason Lawson, the main culprit, flirting with Eve Vaughn.

Just then, Mason Lawson spoke, a smirk playing on his lips. "Brother, Sister-in-law, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Don’t you dare play dumb with me!" Ethan Lawson demanded, furious. "This business with the Vaughn family—it was you, wasn’t it? That prime plot of land was your gift to Jason Vaughn. Now that there’s a huge problem with it, are you going to tell me you knew nothing about it?"

Autumn Woods chimed in, "That’s right! And the Vaughn family company, did you order Neil Kane to acquire it?"

Hearing this, a flicker of surprise appeared in Eve Vaughn’s eyes.

Faced with the accusations from Ethan Lawson and his wife, Mason Lawson simply smiled faintly. "The Vaughn family’s company was left to Evie by her father. Of course, I was going to buy it back. Consider it a gift for my little princess."

As soon as Mason Lawson finished speaking, Ethan Lawson and Autumn Woods were utterly dumbfounded.
