The change lasted only a fraction of a fraction of a second, so fast that nobody noticed it.

Nyx looks toward Luke worriedly, and Myrkhal just looked at curisoty.

Finally, the system’s voice brought me out of my thoughts, as it calmed my mind somewhat. But even then, my gaze remained fixed on the golden knight and Oryn.

"I hate this weakness." I clenched my fist hard, but Aurielle held my fist and looked at my eye.

"Luke, I am here," she said while bringing my hand to her cheek.

I calmed down a little after looking at her purple eyes, which were filled with only love and worry for me.

Naivara watched all of this and sighed; then she left them and headed towards the Count’s mansion.

Oryn paused slightly and said a word before also following them.

"Talentless."

Soon surrounding people also start returning back to their work as territory guards as well.

As the crowd finally reduced, I said to Aurielle,

"I am sorry, Aurielle, that your husband disappointed you so much and turned himself into a laughingstock in front of everyone."

Nyx also heard everything, but he didn’t say anything, and Myrkhal returned back to sleep.

Aurielle who upon hearing this give me a angry glare.

"My husband is the best, and I don’t care what others think about him."

She held my cheeks with her both hands forcefully and said those words to me.

"Master" Then I heard my knights voices as they have returned.

After a moment, I sighed and felt the weakness spreading throughout my entire body. Then I looked at everyone and said.

"Let’s return to the inn." On this everyone nodded.

Though I can see anger in their eyes. "Seems like they also heard something."

I shake my head, and with the help of Aurielle, I stand up, and then all of us return back to the inn.

"Welcome back." The cat girl smiled warmly at us, but then she frowned when she noticed that I was wounded.

"Sir, are you okay? Should I order some health potion for you?"

She asked worriedly, to which I shook my head and left for our room before thanking her.

As Aurielle closed the door, I looked around and found that the interior was quite tall, like 15 feet.

Then Nyx came close and told me. "Luke, you can use your titan form to heal those wounds fast."

I nodded, as that was my plan.

Then I look towards Aurielle, who is preparing water for me. and I told her.

"Honey, I am going to summon my giant form, so don’t panic." On this she nodded.

"Nyx Ascension!"

The moment those words left my mouth, my whole body suddenly began to expand.

In an instant, I grew into a twelve foot tall giant with dark blue hair and azure blue eyes.

I saw her crying stop somewhat, as I know she is expecting my answer with a serious face.

On this, I walked towards her and held her shoulder while looking straight at her purple eyes.

"Of course you are enough. When did I ever say that I am not happy with you?"

With a smile I said to her, but her face didn’t change and she didn’t become happy; instead, it became more sad, like I had wronged her.

"Then, why did you go towards Naivara?" She holds my collar tightly, which I have just changed.

"Tell me... do you love her more than me?"

She finally spoke the words that had been stabbing her heart the entire time.

The moment he released her hand and walked towards Naivara, a fear she had never experienced before gripped her heart.

It felt as though someone was slowly tearing him away from her.
