"Are you going to participate?"

Stellan nodded, "I will go, why not go? Not going would make it seem like I’m afraid to go."

"Grace, you should come too." Stellan felt uncertain about going alone.

"Is that Elliot Gill, the current president of Palmer Corporation, coming in at the entrance? Who is the woman beside him?" Stellan asked curiously.

"Secretary or bodyguard? I don’t know."

The woman with the unclear status in their eyes was Lucy Eaton. She didn’t really want to come today but Elliot insisted on bringing her.

She didn’t want to come because she feared losing control upon seeing Jacob and wanted to rush over to him.

Now that she saw him, she couldn’t bear to look away for even a moment.

Jacob saw Elliot coming over and the two shook hands.

"It must have been hard for you to find time in your busy schedule to come, delaying Mr. Gill’s earnings."

"You might be busy, but you have to come regardless, right?"

Jacob looked towards Lucy beside Elliot, but Lucy wasn’t looking at him, instead looking elsewhere.

"Mr. Gill, your seats are over there."

"Alright, I’ll head over first and chat later."

Only then did Lucy look at him, but Jacob had already shifted his gaze away.

In this venue, she saw those she wanted to see and those she didn’t.

Lily Green was wearing a grand bridal gown, her face adorned with a faint smile as she walked slowly down the red carpet, arm-in-arm with her father, towards Elijah Sheppard who was waiting by the officiant.

The officiant was humorous and witty, often making the guests and the two newlyweds laugh heartily during the ceremony.

During the ring exchange, an unexpected event occurred.

Logan Moore entered through the hall entrance clad in a white robe.

He walked straight towards the newlyweds.

Everyone was stunned by this uninvited guest.

Mrs. Green was the first to react, shouting, "Security, hurry and throw him out!"

Logan Moore turned and glanced around at everyone, "Who dares?!"

His voice wasn’t loud, yet it was powerfully intimidating.

The security guards continued to approach, and Elijah’s mother spoke up, "Let’s see what he intends to do?"

She could tell that Lily knew this man.

Logan Moore walked up to her, reached out to grab the microphone from the officiant, "Lily, even though your family’s elders strongly opposed us being together because of my background, even resorting to using the destruction of my family’s temple to threaten you, I know you find it difficult. But today, amidst so many people, I must say what I want to say, because if I don’t say it today, I’ll never have another chance. She acknowledged the truth of being in love with Logan Moore while reclaiming face for The Sheppards. She merely hurt her family’s pride. Seeing her grandmother in a furious state, Lily felt immensely satisfied.

"Doesn’t everyone have an ex? It’s not a big deal." Elijah interjected, "Since Lily married me, I will make her happy, trying for two kids in three years."

The atmosphere instantly revived, cheers echoed unceasingly.

For Logan Moore, this was actually the best opportunity for Lily to shake off her marital burden, because he spoke those words, all Lily had to do was say she wanted to go with him, and no one would blame her.

He merely wanted to take her away, but he hadn’t thought of what would happen if she left; the wedding today would be ruined, and what kind of humiliation that would be for The Sheppards.

Especially since Elijah was a renowned singer.

This made it much more embarrassing for him.
