After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!
Chapter 1886 - 500: Guardiola Out
Ramos turned his head and asked, "Does Kevin want anything to eat? I’ll go buy it."
"No need, Albert has prepared food. Neo and Lily will bring it over later."
Huang Kaiwen said.
Barbara had gone to Spain.
Her eldest sister was currently trying to persuade that brother of hers who’d once been kidnapped to come back and show his face.
The young lady decided to go in person to talk her big brother out of returning to Italy; the public security in Italy really is terrible.
Isn’t it great to enjoy life in Spain and just take dividends, why bother getting involved in all this?
Even children of the same mother will have disagreements in the face of利益, let alone children who don’t share a mother.
Huang Kaiwen felt her eldest sister wouldn’t be able to hold out much longer.
Right now the young lady was the "most filial" child and very much trusted by Bei.
And in the group’s internal purge, while you couldn’t say everyone had been replaced by her people, she had taken control of many key positions.
Barbara was just waiting for an opportunity to kick her big sister out of the game.
The three of them played Fight the Landlord for a while; when Lily and Neo arrived, Ramos’s face was already covered with little paper notes.
"Barbecue, and paella."
After Neo put the meal box down, Lily introduced, "Threw it together last minute, but Ricardo and Sergio should both be fine with it, so that’s what we went with."
After speaking, she proudly pulled a bottle of orange juice out of her bag and handed it to Huang Kaiwen, then pulled a face at Ramos and Kaka, looking just like a little kid showing off her treats, full of childishness.
"Tastes good!!!"
Inzaghi said as he pushed the door open.
"Filippo, how come you’re back?"
Kaka asked in surprise.
"Hey, what kind of question is that!"
Inzaghi said, unhappy, "Kevin’s injured, how could I just go home and rest with a clear conscience? On the way I decided to come back and look after Kevin."
"I think it’s because you didn’t know what to eat and wanted to freeload at the hospital!"
Ramos said crossly.
The smile on Inzaghi’s face froze; the kid had actually guessed right.
When you’re older you really do get more and more afraid of being alone.
He actually didn’t really like going to nightclubs anymore, except when he had certain needs.
But it felt a bit lonely going home with no one there, so he could only kill time in nightclubs.
With Inzaghi there, the ward got a lot livelier.
But after the meal he and Kaka were still dragged away by Ramos.
Huang Kaiwen quietly rested and recovered in the ward.
But in Italy, in the whole of European football, the sky had changed because of his injury.
Even though Huang Kaiwen had clearly written on his social media account that this injury was just an accident and not Volta’s fault, Volta’s social media accounts still suffered a lot of attacks.
The way the whole world saw these two legs of the tie also changed quite a bit.
On Spain’s Channel 6, Jepedro was sitting in the studio.
Next to him sat Aitor Begiristan.
Begiristan had once played for Real Sociedad, Barcelona and La Coruna, and spent the final three years of his career at Urawa Red Diamonds.
After retiring, he became a football show host, then joined Laporta’s camp; he is now Barcelona’s technical director and is also responsible for developing the Japanese market.
Jepedro asked, "The whole world is paying attention to Kevin’s injury now. Do you think Kevin’s injury will have an impact on Barcelona?"
"Of course. If I said it’s the same with or without Kevin, that’d be a lie."
Begiristan admitted frankly.
The whole world knows how strong Huang Kaiwen is; what else could he say?
"So what plans do you and the club have?"
Jepedro asked.
Begiristan said, "We don’t know exactly how serious Kevin’s injury is, but he should miss the first leg. We’ve already talked with the coach; to gain enough of an advantage in the first leg without Kevin, we have to score more goals to make sure that when Kevin comes back we don’t get overturned."
"What if Kevin can start in the first leg?"
Jepedro asked curiously.
After all, AC Milan hadn’t announced Huang Kaiwen’s injury details either.
Begiristan smiled and said, "We specially had sports science experts and the medical team analyze that footage. They unanimously concluded that Kevin will miss at least 10 to 30 days, and that’s the best-case scenario. If it goes badly it could delay him for a few months, so that’s why we decided on this strategy."
"If you say that on TV, won’t it affect your plans?"
Jepedro asked.
"Of course not!"
Begiristan said, "We all know Pep; he’s not Mourinho, he wouldn’t do something like parking three defensive midfielders in front of the back line to sit on a lead, so we’re not worried at all. Before this Pep also used a three–defensive-midfield setup several times at AC Milan, but his shape is very attacking. With Kevin out, Barca are not at all worried that their attacking power can’t match AC Milan’s."
Mourinho’s face darkened in front of the TV.
He felt like the whole world was against him.
First Guardiola had teased him at the press conference, and now this TV host and that Barça executive were ridiculing him; Mourinho decided that once he got back he’d really give the team a good talking to and make sure they absolutely did not let this season’s league title slip.
On the TV, Begiristan was still talking away. He said, "As for failing to bring in Kevin, that’s a huge, a really huge loss for Barça. If you go to Japan, you’ll see Huang Kaiwen on the giant electronic screen in Ginza, Kevin on the roadside billboards, when you’re tired in the mall and sit on a bench to rest there’s Kevin’s tea next to you, when you go downstairs from the hotel and pass the newsstand it’s Kevin’s photobooks in the window, even in the supermarket you can find all kinds of products endorsed by Kevin, and they sell extremely well. No other player has such a powerful influence in such a huge market. I really am very regretful about this."
