As soon as the door opened up, Leon looked down and noticed the same staircase that was in-between the first and second floor.

"Fuck..." Dusk spoke from within the bubble with a disgusted expression as he already knew what was coming.

He didn’t even wait for Leon’s command and changed into his cat form.

"Hey, Lesarath... Who lives on the second floor ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.

’No one liveth on the third floor, Leon Luster. Only the Mist.’ Lesarath replied.

"What mist ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.

’The Mist is what it is... Mist and naught else.’ Lesarath replied.

"Huh...? Okay, fine... I will just see what it is." Leon replied with a neutral expression as he jumped in and dusk followed behind him immediately.

’Leon Luster...’ Lesrath’s voice rang inside his head but this time heavier than usual.

Leon looked up at him with a confused expression.

’... Keep mind strong.’ he spoke as he let go of the gate.

The gate slammed down and the clicking sounds of locks started coming from above.

"Well, let’s do this." Leon spoke as he turned off the skill {Traversal Bubble} and noticed that dusk was already in his cat form.

"Master... That was that monster that made friends with ?" Dusk asked with a neutral expression.

"Yes." Leon replied with a smile as he picked up the world tree plant in one hand and Dusk in other hand.

"Fuuuu~ Let’s fucking goooo." Leon spoke as he ran forward with full speed and started jumping down the stairs without any stops.

As Leon kept going down he noticed something strange...

’I am going down non-stop for the past five minutes and I still can’t see anything down there. It’s so dark.’ He thought with a confused expression.

"Master..." Dusk spoke in a low voice.

"What ?" Leon asked as he continued to jump down from the stairs.

"Master..." Dusk spoke again.

"Yes Dusk... I am listening." He spoke while continuing down the stairs.

"Dusk, just speak the fuck-" Leon started speaking with an irritated voice but as soon as he looked at Dusk his eyes widened in fear.

Dusk’s half skull was visible, his face was like rotten corpse similar to a zombie and he was repeating the same thing again and again.

"Fucking hell..." Leon immediately stopped on one stair and threw Dusk onto the ground.

*Thud*

"Master..." Dusk spoke as he stood up from the ground and started walking towards Leon.

"What the fuck is wrong with you Dusk ?" Leon asked with a serious expression as he looked at him.

"Master... Wake up." Dusk spoke as he looked at Leon.

"What !?" Leon asked with a serious expression as he looked at him.

"Master wake up... Master wake up... Master wake up." Dusk started repeating the same thing like a broken doll.

Suddenly Leon opened his eyes and noticed that he was standing in front of the entrance of the third floor’s gate and dusk was calling out to him in a worried tone.

...and they were covered from everyside with a white mist that was coming from under the gate.

"T-The fuck happened ?" Leon asked with a confused expression as he looked at Dusk.

"Master we were coming down from the stairs and as soon as you stepped onto this step, you just stopped moving all of a sudden." Dusk explained.

Without wasting another second, Leon used his skill on the white mist.

Suddenly a red window popped up in front of him.

[System is Offline.]

"What the-" Before the words could’ve come out of his mouth, a huge green hand grabbed his shoulder.

Leon turned and noticed a huge orc standing behind him holding a wooden club in his hand.

He immediately raised the club and brought it down upon Leon with full power.

"RAAWWHHHHHHHH..."

"Fucking hell." Leon immediately dodged to the side and noticed that the orc had disappeared from his location.

’What the fuck is happening !? Why is the system offline ? And where the hell did Dusk go ? He was standing right here a moment ago.’ Leon thought with a serious expression as it struck him all of a sudden.

"This is an illusion too..." Leon spoke as he immediately slapped himself really hard.

"HAAAAAAH..." He took a long breathe as he woke up from the illusion and noticed that he is standing on the last stair with dusk in one hand and the world tree plant in another hand.

Dusk’s eyes have turned white as the mist is continuously entering his nose and playing with his brain.

"Dusk... Wake up." Leon spoke as he placed the world tree plant down and started shaking dusk really hard in order to wake him up.

But dusk wasn’t waking up.

"Leon Luster..." Suddenly a familiar voice came from behind.
