Leo didn’t say anything to Lily, he just let her handle things on her own, because not only was it not right , he also had to complete the task that was given by the system. Lily came to the school, then she went out after kissing Leo on the cheek. The young man was not even allowed to carry her bag today, Lily was a little boss today, Leo sighed and said, "Kyle, do you think Lily is growing up too quickly?"

The guards at the gates quickly came up to form a cordone around the car, the young man rolled the window down and asked, "So, what is going on?"

The guard looked at him and said, "Sir, some of these farmers have come over from the north, this year the snow came early and their crops have died, they come seeking aid to sustain the debts they have taken. I have told them that it is usually handled by the funds but they are stating that with the foundation being closed, they cannot really do anything at the moment and if they miss out on the debt payments the bank would seize their lands."

Leo frowned and said, "How can the banks do this? Well, have them all sit inside, collect their details, like name, where their land is and what is the amount of money they have, etc. I will send June downstairs to supervise."

The car drove in and the guards asked for the people to follow them inside and after a few minutes, June appeared before them with a binder in her hand and she began to take down all the details personally. The people had not expected that the assistant to the President of the company would show up here, and then ask them for the details. After an hour when June finished taking down the complaints she found that the snow fall has affected a rather big area, and the losses were immense.

Another thing that she noticed that the people who had issued the notices to them belonged to the same bank, and they claimed that the land would be seized if the money had not been deposited in the accounts to deduct the EMI payments. The government had their own budget to handle these things, but that aid was provided every quarter and they had nothing to rely on at the moment.

June frowned and then she said, "Uncles, Aunties, you all just wait here, and I will bring this to the President and he will handle this before the sunset."

The elders nodded and then they sat down in the pavilion in the garden and June arranged for some of the serving staff to get the people food from the canteen. A few moments later, June was standing before the young man in the office, as she watched him playing with the twins who had just come back from Snow’s office because Leo missed them and his wife had a meeting. The young lady said, "Sir, we might have a problem."

Leo turned to look at him while Elena babbled. Leo asked, "What is it June?"

June replied, "Sir, there are fifty people downstairs, they all have loans for farming, but the snow fall had downed all the crops, the government aid will be kicking in next month, so the reason behind this distress was not that they will not have money to make the payments, but the problem is the bank. The bank cannot warn them about land seizure. This is not how things work."

Leo nodded and asked, "Did they show you the notices they received from the banks?"

June nodded and took out her phone, she clicked all the pictures, and the farmers were very well aware now, they knew about things and came with everything. Leo looked at the pictures and said, "Connect me to the Director of the Central Bank. Let’s see what is really going on."

June nodded and quickly the call was connected, when June mentioned that Leo himself wanted to talk, the line went on hold briefly before it was connected with the Director of the bank. June said, "Sir, Director Amish is on the line."

Leo pressed the speaker button and said, "Hello."

The person on the other side said, "Hello President Cardinal, What caused you to recall of my humble persona?"

Leo replied, "Director Amish, if you, who control the billions and trillions of the country are humble, then I am nothing but a beggar."

Director Amish chuckled and said, "God forbid, god forbid. We bankers might see the money flowing before us, but we have no claim on those."

Leo chuckled and said, "If that were true, then why do I have fifty farmers from the north sitting down my office, seeking aid so that they could pay money to the bank for their debts or the bank would seize their lands. They have all just received one notice. I thought you had to give them ninety days to handle things legally, no? That is three notices one at every thirty days. But here I see the duration mentioned as thirty degree. Is it that I am ignorant or that the banking laws changed over night?"

His voice was calm, soft and even ideal at the point, but the pressure that it emitted outside was something Director Amish could not handle. Leo said, "Director, I would like you to investigate the situation, because if I investigated it with all that is going on, I will not be going easy on anyone involved in this shit."

That said the call disconnected, and Leo leaned in his chair with Julian and Elena in his arms as they loved to swivel around, and June asked, "Sir, why did the person say that it was a favor you did to him."

Leo smiled and replied, "What would happen if he uncovers everything on his own and then he would gain a lot of goodwill in the workforce, and that is a favor I did to him."

June sighed and said, "The world of the rich is really something else, isn’t it?"

Leo laughed and said, "Oi, I am your boss, I will dock your payment for this."

June replied, "I will go cry to Young Miss, Sir."

Leo chuckled and shook his head, before he looked at the two dolls in his arms and began to gently swivel the chair and the office was flooded with giggles and joy.
