The young man flew back home without any care of what was going on in the world. The whole thing was undetected, and only thing people came to find in the cargo ship was a pile of dead bodies, all the terrorists in the holding area had been shot in the heads. Another thing that caused the Eagle nation government to be shocked was how the assailants managed to walk in and out of the place. None of them could come up with any explanation for what happened in this place, after all, this was basically in the middle of nowhere.

It was dawn when the plane landed on the private airstrip of the Utopia Research Center, since it was a vertical landing, none of the people saw anything. Leo moved the plane inside the hangar, then he opened the cockpit and looked at Francis, who was standing on the ground with red eyes, he was showing typical signs of the sleep deprivation. Leo took a deep breath and replied, "Francis, you need to handle the leveler, the vertical landing just now scared me to hell."

Francis scratched the back of his head and then said, "Well, Sir, this is still a prototype and I am very happy that you made it back in one piece."

Leo shook his head and stood up from the seat and stepped out of the cockpit and said, "Have someone from the staff pick out the old man inside and give him medical attention. Also, increase the security parameters, none of the people are allowed to get out of the research center. Do you understand?"

Francis nodded and replied, "I will relay the message to Master Markus, also, Sir, they have sent a message. The raids have been conducted successfully, all the people involved in attacking Director Markus have been neutralized."

Leo sighed and nodded, as he said, "I am heading back home, have Markus come here and then handle this thing on his own."

Francis nodded silently, Leo had given in a lot of time, and he should not move around much now because many people would be looking at them all. Leo walked away, got on his bike and drove back to home. It took him a couple of hours to ride back from the high north to Angkor City.

After entering the house, he called Snow, thankfully she picked up the call herself, and asked, "Hurt anywhere?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "No, I am fine, any chatter?"

Snow nodded, "They are asking around but didn’t find anything. Thankfully both things happened at the same time, so they have too much to handle now."

The young man nodded, and asked, "How are the kids?"

Snow smiled and replied, "They are fine, Lily is a good baby-sitter, and she is a stern elder sister. I don’t have to mind that, at least these two would be disciplined in the future. You have no idea how much they babbled the whole morning, Ma called me twice to ask if it was normal."

Leo chuckled and said, "That is good, as long as they are happy. I will be back at night. I plan to catch some sleep before I leave."

Snow nodded and replied, "Eat something while you are at it."

Leo took a deep breath and talked with Snow asking how she was doing and the rest, before he sighed and closed his eyes and fell asleep. He was not sleeping because he was tired, it was because he was mentally tired, flying a plane seemed easy but he had to make sure that he didn’t run into any of the commercial flights, because the plane was still under development, and there was a chance that something could go wrong and so Leo was alert to handle the situation as soon as something went wrong.

Lily looked at the tab and said, "Baba came home safely."

Anastasia nodded while she watched the trio as they sat on the carpet in the living room. The old lady looked at Lily and asked, "How is your school going, I have been very busy these days."

Lily nodded calmly and replied, "Yes, I am doing good grandma, but I miss Teacher Verse, although the teacher in this school is nice, but Miss Verse was so much better."

Anastasia nodded with a smile and said, "You can go to meet her when you visit Angkor City, just focus on learning the things they teach you in the school."

Lily hummed and before she looked at the Jules and said, "Jules, you naughty boy, don’t you dare to paint Elle’s face."

Elle smiled at Lily and Lily smiled at her, Anastasia shook her head, the youngest and the eldest gang up on Julian, and the poor boy was on the verge of tears. However, Lily sensed this and then she said, "You are a smart baby, if you treat Elle well, she will also treat you well no? We must not harm others, and be nice, but if someone tries to harm you, don’t bother, do what you should, and big sister will help you, okay?"

She coaxed Julian and then guided the two people to paint on the sketch pad. The twins learned it all with great joy. After half an hour, they finished handling it all, and Lily praised them both and gave them fruit jelly as reward.

When Leo woke up to catch on the follow up of the incident he was shocked to find out that the movement from the Eagle Nation was basically negligible. He called Markus and asked, "Did the strike team manage to come back safe?"

The man replied, "Yes, they did, all the people who had families were given a close shot and the ones who were actually the rowdies, they were neutralized, from what we gather, they acted on a suspicion that someone was close to sniffing out the truth and that was it, but they still cannot connect anything to us, we have been clear in our actions."

Leo nodded and said, "Take all the precautions and tell the Strike team to lay low."

Markus greed and the call was disconnected, at this moment Kyle came over with a trolley. Leo raised his brow and asked, "What is this?"

Kyle smiled and replied, "Young Miss Lily asked me to bring you some herbal tea as it relieves stress. She said that you have gone out on a short notice and it must have been exhausting so having tea would help you calm down."

Leo smiled and said, "Thank you, but why didn’t she call me herself?"

Kyle replied, "She called June, Madam had informed the Young Miss that you were exhausted and sleepy."

Leo hummed and picked up the clear tea, and took a sip before he closed his eyes and leaned back in the chair, as he remarked, "Daughters are really padded jackets."

Kyle nodded, and Leo rolled his eyes as he said, "What are you nodding for? Do you have a daughter?"

Kyle was stunned and then he replied, "Well, I have taken the moment when you were gone to propose to June, so who knows, maybe the god would bless me with a daughter as well."

Leo was surprised but then he said, "Good, tell me when is the wedding date set?"

Kyle replied, "Ummm that would have to wait till my parents come here, and they meet with June’s family. I am worried because my parents are justy village folk, how can they match the standards of the city people."

Leo shook his head and replied, "June will handle that you, you just pretend to be the big oaf that you are and it would be fine. June is ten times smarter than you."

After that, Leo stood up from the couch while still sipping on the tea, as he said, "Get the plane ready, I have to get back home, Lily has been handling things alone over there, and I am missing the twins as well."

Kyle nodded and called the captain to get the aircraft ready, before they all hopped in a car and then headed to the airport. The flight back to the capital was simple and uneventful, but it was night, and by the time he reached home, he found that Lily had fallen asleep with her head laying in the lap of her grandma who was reading a story book.

Anastasia looked at him with a smile said, "She was tired with the twins but held through the day, now they went to sleep and so she couldn’t help but fell asleep as well."

Leo smiled and said, "It must have been hard on you, Ma."

Anastasia shook her head and said, "Not at all, the children are all sensible."

The young man looked at Lily found that she was sleeping rather soundly, and then he picked her up, he said, "I will tuck her in."

Anastasia sighed and said, "Look at this, I didn’t notice that she fell asleep, so engrossed in this book." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Leo smiled faintly but didn’t say anything else, and then walked toward Lily’s room. There he tucked her in gently and turned to look around at the room that was now a masterpiece covered in ink and paint. This little one had painted the walls of her room with a layer of canvas on the walls. He sighed and said, "Well, after a few years, will have to shift it all.
