"Okay. I think after this I seriously must be named the best dressmaker in the whole world. Is this not spectacular?" Cherry asked the two women beside her.

"Red does suit Aurora in an unexplainable way. You should be named the best dressmaker in the world," Regina answered, agreeing with Cherry. "It reminds me of the red hood you used to have. You would look like a character straight out of our storybooks whenever you wore it. I like that the color suits you but the dress carries that traditional style. How much?" Regina asked.

A dressmaker no one in town had ever seen is the one to make her dress would have the town talking about something else other than her family. Regina wanted to make the young women who were angry with her marrying Timothy, even angrier when they would lay eyes on her wedding dress. If there is going to talk about her, she should at least wear a stunning dress throughout the gossip.

"We’ll talk about it in private before you leave. I already have a wonderful design in mind for you. Now, back to the main character for today. How are you feeling Aurora? What do you think about the dress? You’ve been awfully quiet since you tried it on and I do not want you to feel like you must-"

"It is beautiful," Aurora answered, in awe of her appearance. She had dressed up many times in the past but there was something different about this moment. She didn’t know if it was the dress itself or something else.

"Vincent’s heart better stop," Cherry said as she fluffed out the bottom of the dress. She was hoping that after today the women here would want to get into the habit of dressing up in pretty dresses for their wedding day. The tradition of getting married in your wolf form and covered in markings was not that exciting. At least to Cherry.

During the process of making Aurora’s dress, Cherry made up her mind that she would wed Victor in a pretty dress. As the dressmaker, it only made sense that she would. The only problem would be the new elders who might have an issue with it but then she would remind them of Vincent’s marriage.

"Why did they leave us with nothing to do? Oh, the party is in here," said Minerva the moment she reached the bedroom door. It was wide open because Cherry needed more space to work her magic even though the room was quite large.

"Red? See green is a better color," Morgan said, pointing to her eyes.

"It is. It is the color of frogs," Agatha said.

Minerva and Morgan sighed. When would their sister think of anything other than frogs? They wanted to be far away from this wedding the moment gifts would start to be opened. Agatha had taken it upon herself to give the couple a box of frogs that they could take care of until they needed her services. Even as witches, neither Minerva nor Morgan wanted frogs on their wedding day.

"Why are you pinning her hair up?" Minerva asked, disliking the style Regina was creating. "Her hair needs to be down."

"I disagree, sister. It is better suited to show off her dress. Pin it up," Morgan ordered Regina. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"No one will ever take your advice, Morgan. Leave the hair down."

"I say we cut it," Agatha suggested.

Everyone besides Aurora looked at Agather. They all wondered why she thought Aurora would want to cut her long luxurious hair.

"That is not a bad idea," Aurora answered.

"Aurora, you cannot be serious. You gave all this long hair you should show off on your wedding day. You cannot be serious about cutting it," said Regina. Perhaps another day.

"I feel like there is a weight left on me and cutting my hair at least to my shoulders will help me feel lighter. My marriage is a whole new Chapter so I would like to go into it with a new look that makes me feel relaxed. Please cut my hair to my shoulders," Aurora said to Cherry who stood with her mouth wide open.

Jane understood what Aurora meant. In the past, she used to have long hair but during the time when her mother was against Derek, she cut her hair. There was something oddly satisfying about it. Like you had cut away past stress you felt. She continued to cut her hair each time it grew longer. Luckily, Derek had loved the style from the very beginning and never cared about how long it had been before.

"It would make me very happy if you cut it, please. Then again, Cherry looks really emotional so I shouldn’t task her with this," Aurora said as she might lose more hair than she wanted to if she let Cherry cut her hair. She was meant to leave soon to see Vincent and the girls were not yet dressed so there was hardly any time for mistakes to be made.

Aurora turned to Regina to do the job but then considered the fact Regina had never cut anyone’s hair. She looked straight past the three witch sisters as she wouldn’t trust them to tie her hair. They would bicker over who would get to cut her hair and attack at once. The only option now was Jane.

"I can do it for you. Everyone else but Regina should head out to get ready for the wedding. Others must have started to walk there to get a good seat. We must not keep them back," said Jane.

The last thing they needed to happen was for them being the reason the wedding was delayed. Vincent had tasked her and Cherry to take Aurora to where the wedding was taking place. Aurora was left out of the loop so she wouldn’t know where to head for the wedding and it would be wrong to make the bribe arrive alone.

"Move quickly," she said in an authoritative tone.

Cherry snapped out of her emotions while the witches hurried out of the room.

Jane looked around the room for something to cut Aurora’s hair with while Regina stood at her side and held Aurora’s hand one last time before she would need to leave.
