Green Secret Land

After killing the foreign creatures, I quickly left the area to find a spot to hide. I wanted to know whether any other creature would come here after hearing the commotion.

Quickly, I found a giant, tall shade tree. I landed on one of the branches and continued to watch from there.

My perception was active. The surrounding 100 metres were within my range. If anything came here, then I would know.

Rustle!

Not long after, I caught something in my perception. A four-legged creature over 4 metres in size appeared at the site.

The creature was releasing the aura of the Purple Mark Level. Yet, the creature appeared to be stronger than the others.

My gaze condensed. It was the first time I was witnessing a new type of foreign creature with a monstrous frame, its whole body covered in runes.

Boom!

The foreign creature saw the mutilated corpse. The next second, it did something unthinkable. It started eating the corpse.

My heart stirred. The visual was too shocking. I didn’t expect this to happen. Suddenly, I saw changes happening in the body of the creature.

The black runes were glowing. A terrible thought came to my mind. What if the runes were gaining strength? It would strengthen the foreign creature as well.

It should not happen. I should kill it before it could pose a threat to me.

Swoosh!

The next second, I disappeared from my spot. Then I appeared in front of the foreign creature. It was busy consuming the corpse.

"Lightning Cage"

I executed the lightning attack. The purple lightning ball released from my hand and struck the foreign creature.

Boom!

A terrific explosion occurred upon contact. The explosion forced the creature to move away from the spot.

It lost its balance and fell down to the ground.

But the attack didn’t stop there. I controlled the lightning to trap the foreign creature. The purple lightning bolts surrounded the creature from all sides.

Shriek! 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

The foreign creature struggled. It didn’t expect to get attacked all of a sudden. The lightning power was destroying its flesh and skin.

It would only be a matter of time before it destroyed them completely and reached the internal organs. The foreign creature was enraged.

Boom!

The runes all over its body lit up. The next second, a monstrous pressure released from its body and struck the lightning bolts.

The pressure crushed the lightning bolts. It broke away the lightning chains and escaped from them.

Tud!

The four-legged creature then targeted the human. It didn’t expect to see a human here, which further enraged it. It charged at the target all of a sudden.

I circulated the shock force along with the purple lightning force.

"Lightning Wheel"

A purple lightning wheel with a golden and silver hue appeared around me. Right then, the creature collided into the wheel.

The wheel, which was beaming with tremendous power, exploded on the face of the foreign creature.

Boom!

The terrifying power blasted away the creature. This time, the creature rocketed backwards before crashing into the ground.

Puchak!

The defense was torn apart. The flesh and skin were all breached. The foreign creature was critically injured right now.

I saw through the injuries as well. I felt it was the right time to end its life. I extended my hand and started covering my index finger with the shock force power and bloodline power.

I replaced the purple lightning power with the bloodline variant water power.

The combination of the two different forces was deadly. They caused a rare explosion.

"Condensed Finger"

A finger beam released from my index finger the next second. The beam went across in a straight line.

In a flash, the beam touched the body of the foreign creature. The next moment, the beam pierced through the body.

Boom!

When the beam’s power touched the internal organs, an explosion occurred inside the body of the creature.

The massive creature, over 4 metres in size with gruesome injuries on its body, died. The next moment, the massive body fell sideways with a thud.

Swoosh!

The next second, I disappeared from the spot and returned to my previous position, standing on the branch.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.

I had figured out a new way to kill the creatures. As long as I was able to make an injury on the outside, I could then use the same finger beam to destroy the organs.

In this way, I can save the inheritance forces from over-consuming. After gaining some clarity, I stood there while recovering my Inheritance power.

The secret land was rich with energy. I should use this opportunity to recover my inheritance force until the next creature arrives.

Time passed.

The commotion of the fight did attract the attention of the foreign creatures, because the commotion was coming from the same location.

The foreign creatures from all sides were moving towards the same location.

On the other hand, I recovered my bloodline power. The purple lightning force was recovered to some extent.

Now I can fight a long battle. Then I looked around. Dean Jerome had said that the secret land was not an important one.

It was because most of the resources had already been plundered. Only a few of them remained. Yet, he saw green canopies everywhere.

It appeared that the secret land had recovered to some extent. If it were left alone like this, new resources would appear.

Unfortunately, the foreign creatures attacked at the wrong time.

Rustle!

The next second, I heard something. I tried to find it using my perception. But no creatures appeared within a hundred-metre range.

I tried to cover the range beyond that. Then I saw a group of foreign creatures hiding on the ground.

They were trying to observe the situation as well.

Then I expanded my range in all directions out of curiosity. Then I spotted a few more foreign creatures. They were standing on the rocks trying to figure out the situation.

All of them were strong and massive in size. It showed that Dean Jerome was right. Only the Purple Mark Level creatures had infiltrated the secret land.

I decided to find my target. If I appear in front of them, then I will be surrounded by them. I don’t know whether that’s a good idea.

I have yet to find out their infiltration point.
