Angle's Arrogance? My Pact with the Succubus Queen!
Chapter 425: The Greater the Rage, the Heavier the Backlash!
Moragas stayed silent for two breaths, a low growl rumbling in his throat. "Damn it, you're all lunatics! Always picking on an old man like me? Fine! Let's do this!"
With that, Moragas turned and jumped onto a bone dragon, leading all seven bone dragons flying into the distance.
The enemy's presence was closing in fast.
The first Demigod stepped into Violet's line of sight.
His body shimmered with the ripples of space laws. Trailing behind him were a dozen space chains, each tip pulsing with heavy space energy.
Quickly, two more Demigods appeared behind him.
One was wrapped in crackling lightning, while the other had Frost crawling across the ground beneath his feet.
Violet felt the pressure around her double. Without a word, she gripped the Staff of Creation and the Bow of Destruction tighter.
The Space Power-wielding Demigod, Houston, looked at Violet and frowned slightly. "You're just a woman, not even a Demigod, yet you dare to stop three of us? Are you crazy, or is that idiot Logan crazy?"
At his words, a cold sweat broke out on Violet's face. She gritted her teeth. "Don't you dare insult my Master!"
The moment she finished speaking, a crimson mist rose around Violet.
She burned her own blood, giving her full Life Sacrifice to the Staff of Creation and Bow of Destruction in her hands.
In an instant, the emerald green creation rules and pitch-black Destruction Rule surged forward together. They merged and clashed at the same time, erupting into terrifying annihilation power.
Before this power could even fully unleash, cracks began to form on Violet's body.
Blinding blood leaked from the fissures, evaporating into mist before it could even drip.
The Space Demigod Houston felt the approaching power and instantly grew terrified. "Damn it! How does she have the power of both creation and destruction Divine Rules? And both are at an extremely high level of mastery? This is impossible!"
Behind him, the Lightning Demigod and Frost Demigod were equally stunned.
They immediately channeled their respective Divine Rules. One armored his whole body in lightning, while the other summoned a massive Frost shield in front of him.
"Forget the rest for now, block her attack!"
"Otherwise, one of us is definitely going to die."
The three Demigods knew a threat when they saw one. The two Divine Rules Violet had just gathered were already enough to put their lives in danger.
Even though Violet would likely fall first in a direct clash, none of them could guarantee they'd walk away alive.
Seeing the three Demigods hesitate before her, Violet suddenly smiled.
Her lips curled into a grin, blood dripping from the corners of her mouth, yet she spoke words that took their breath away.
"What? Three Demigods facing one ordinary girl, and you're still being so cautious? Then you should all just die."
"I promised my Master I wouldn't let anyone harm Kane. If you want to do anything against him, you'll have to step over my dead body first."
The moment she finished speaking, an arrow wrapped in creation and Destruction Rule shot forward. The pitch-black arrow pierced straight through the entire space.
Seeing this, the three Demigods immediately tried to channel their Divine Rule power to intercept it.
But the arrow seemed to grow wings. It swiftly pierced through the space rifts ahead, slipped through the lightning gaps and Frost blind spots, and struck straight through the chest of the lead Space Demigod, Houston.
A silent ripple spread outward.
Space Demigod Houston's eyes widened. He looked down at the fist-sized black hole in his chest, his lips trembling.
Instantly, countless cracks began to spread outward from the hole.
To the stunned shock of the other two Demigods, Houston's body started to shatter.
His silver-gray skin cracked into shards, which quickly broke down into fine dust.
Finally, the Demigod who wielded the terrifying Space Rule turned completely into silver-gray particles, scattering into the air before he could even scream.
Seeing this, the lightning Demigod and Frost Demigod both sucked in a sharp breath.
At the same time, a spatial pierce tore straight through Violet's chest.
It turned out the Space Demigod had dropped his own defense, handing all protection over to the lightning Demigod and Frost Demigod behind him.
But what he hadn't expected was that Violet's mastery of Creation and Destruction Rule had far exceeded their combined defenses.
Because of that, the two Demigods betrayed him without a second thought, leaving him as just another spirit caught in Violet's hands.
Seeing this, the lightning Demigod flew into a rage.
"Damn it! We have to kill her! We have to kill this woman!"
The Frost Demigod beside him also twisted his face in anger. He couldn't bear for this woman to spread the ugly truth of what had just happened.
"Kill her."
Without another word, both of them charged straight at Violet.
Violet had just used up all her power and taken severe damage. The two Demigods were sure she was spent, that she couldn't possibly unleash that world-shattering power again.
Yet, as they closed in, Violet gave a strange smile.
"You don't actually think this is my own power, do you? Sorry, but this is my Master's power."
"Explode!"
At her shout, two blinding flashes of light suddenly erupted in front of Violet.
The staff and bow forged from Creation Rule and Destruction Rule simultaneously shattered, releasing the most terrifying and pure Creation power and Destruction power.
The two Demigods were right in the blast's path, taking the brunt of the explosive force.
Just like Space Demigod Houston, the lightning Demigod and Frost Demigod didn't even have time to speak before they were swallowed by the horrifying power. They vanished completely from sight.
Violet coughed twice, spat a mouthful of blood, and slowly collapsed to the ground.
She barely managed to prop herself up with her hands. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth, but she curled into a faint smile. It was filled with relief and peace.
"Master… I did it."
Her voice was as light as a feather.
As the last syllable faded, Violet's body leaned forward, and she slowly fell onto the soil.
She sank into the blood-stained earth.
Meanwhile, Moragas led the seven bone dragons, hovering just behind the Sky-Shattering Chieftain and his group.
By their plan, he was supposed to help Violet draw at least one Demigod away.
But things went off track.
Just as Moragas was about to strike the three Demigods, a hidden Demigod in a void projection suddenly attacked him.
Caught off guard, Moragas barely had time to raise his soul shield before he had to fight back hastily.
The enemy unleashed a terrifying burst of Destruction Rule. The massive power slammed into Moragas's soul shield, shattering it instantly.
"Damn it!"
Moragas gritted his teeth. The ghost fire in his eyes flared wildly. "Logan, guess I'm risking my neck for you again."
With a roar, Moragas unleashed his undead spell, directing the seven bone dragons into a formation as they charged at the Demigod who had attacked him.
Behind them trailed a thick fog of undead energy, where countless ghost faces flickered in and out of sight.
The bone dragons, carrying the ghost fog, immediately swarmed over the Demigod.
Through the thick fog, blood-red and emerald-green light intertwined, casting an eerie atmosphere.
Soon, a cold laugh cut through the air, radiating a strong Destruction Rule pulse. "Foolish undead. Do you really think this is enough to stop me?"
The moment he finished speaking, a terrifying wave of destruction power shot out like a shockwave, piercing straight through the undead fog.
The three frontmost bone dragons were hit by the blast. Their cold soul fire flared across their frames before their entire bodies were reduced to dust by that terrifying Destruction Rule power. They crashed to the ground, leaving only a cloud of fine ash.
"Damn it, how is this guy so strong?" Moragas roared and immediately cast another undead spell.
Moragas felt a spike of frustration. This Demigod he was facing was clearly stronger than the three Demigods who had just gone after Violet.
"Goddammit! Why do I always get the hardest fight?" Moragas muttered and activated the remaining four bone dragons to surround his opponent.
But before the ring could close, terrifying Destruction Rule erupted from the Demigod, blasting outward in all directions.
Three more bone dragons were destroyed, their skeletal frames crashing to the ground and shattering into bone fragments.
Feeling the snap of the soul link, Moragas knew only one bone dragon was left under his control.
Without hesitation, he bellowed, "Detonate!"
A massive burst of undead energy exploded at once. The Demigod barely had time to react before the force sent him flying backward.
Seizing the moment, Moragas shouted, "Fall back!"
A pair of wings suddenly sprouted from his back. He shot into the distance, leaving a trail of mournful howling winds.
But Moragas hadn't gone far when the Demigod he'd just shaken off caught up at lightning speed.
The gap closed quickly. The destruction storm unleashed by the Demigod began to scrape against his back.
Bones cracked loudly. Moragas felt his wing support shatter, and he plummeted from the sky.
After crashing through several small hills, Moragas let out a feral roar and glared at the destruction Demigod before him. "You bastard, I'll fight you to the death!"
At that moment, his lich power surged. A pale white soul Inferno erupted from his back, taking the shape of undead wings.
Thick fog spread from the strange Inferno wings, turning hundreds of square kilometers around them into a lifeless, undead battlefield.
The destruction Demigod sensed the shift in the air and frowned inexplicably. "It feels like many people died here."
