Viola leaned sideways toward him, "Your quick-wittedness and intelligence are astounding, Viola is very much in awe of you."

Having said this, Viola slightly bowed her head to him.

Lin Xian saw her gesture and couldn’t help but laugh, "You don’t need to flatter and praise me."

"Praise and flattery significantly enhance the human need for social status and self-recognition as per Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. As your assistant, I should provide emotional value at appropriate times; caring for your mental and physical health is one of my duties."

Lin Xian nodded earnestly, took a deep breath, and then looked at the drones outside, transporting supplies to the Sky Dome Train. He said to Viola, "Synchronize all targets within the high-value machinery group with me tonight, devour to our heart’s content."

"Understood."

Buzz~

Viola turned around, and a holographic projection of the city map appeared before Lin Xian.

"Wah Island Airport, Green Industrial Park, Vegas Gambling City Street, a total of seven concentrated machinery group locations listed. Besides those, we’ve also found over nineteen parking lots, two amusement park zones, and three estates that include yachts and cruising flying devices."

"Alright, understood."

Lin Xian turned around, handing over the control of the bridge to Viola, then leaving the bridge and activating his Power Armor flying device to soar into the sky. Observing this seaside city beneath the Starlight, he flew to the north towards Wah Island Airport.

This was considered an international airport, but terrain constraints allowed only two landing strips. Additionally, there was a large tarmac for hovercraft landings. Lin Xian hovered above the damaged control tower of the airport, his gaze scanning the area. The night wind carried scents of rust and the ocean. Below him, the two primary runways extended outwards with several failed takeoff wide-bodied passenger planes wrecked on the runway, their metallic bodies corroded and worn, scarred by rust, while the marks left by explosions had oxidized into stubborn dark brown stains. Rainwater had fostered dark green moss, covering the cold carcasses like a layer of decayed skin.

Aside from these wreckages, there were still two narrow-bodied passenger planes, one civilian wide-bodied passenger plane, and one crashed civilian transport ship left on the tarmac.

It was evident that many people tried to flee this island at that time, but few succeeded.

Within this airplane graveyard, many Zombies were scattered about, standing like withered trees due to the absence of targets, allowing sea winds and sunlight to reduce them to bone and ash. Their positions were twisted, clothes hanging on skeletal limbs, empty eye sockets aimlessly followed the wind’s direction, throats emitted indistinct groans — contributing to the eerie ambience of this desolate tarmac.

Lin Xian looked around, then flew towards that large wide-bodied passenger plane, quietly landing on its wing without disturbing the Zombies. Several small surveillance drones silently emerged from behind him, their rotor blades spinning at high speeds like butterfly wings. They hovered all around the fuselage, their electronic compound eyes flashing cold and vigilant red light, instantly weaving an invisible warning net for him. Then, Lin Xian sat cross-legged, took a deep breath, and decisively began the devouring process.

Fine intangible threads of perception spread like webs in all directions. Soon, the complex metal veins of the turbofan engine began to appear in his perception, forming a grand blueprint of industrial civilization.

Meanwhile, aboard the Sky Dome Unlimited, thousands of drones were methodically transporting supplies under Viola’s control, while the arsenal ship’s defensive turrets were all activated, and the Sentinel System scanned the dark night for unknown threats.

The core living quarters were located on the third ship, just below the main bridge. The living cabins here were not numerous, dedicated for use by the starship leadership executing team. The spacious living cabin section was brightly lit, the air carried a unique metallic chill and freshness from cyclical filtration.

Chen Sixuan was standing in her exclusive cabin’s pristine shower area, letting the aptly warm water wash over her body. The rising steam blurred the mirror, with only her fair and graceful silhouette faintly visible amidst the mist. After surviving countless deadly battles and journeys, her skin, once scarred by monstrous claws and torn by explosions, now glowed with a healthy luminance.

Having escaped from Sea Rock Island, her wounds had quickly healed under her powerful evolutionary genes; some had coalesced into faint pink scars, others had healed completely and disappeared. Warm water ran over these marks, washing away the dust and fatigue, and along with them, the distant memories of her days as a university teacher. She wiped away the condensation from the mirror, her reflection staring back with eyes calm yet sharp — she was no longer the once-fragile university teacher. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Next door in a cabin full of girlish charm, the space had been cleverly divided into two areas, yet still with two bunk beds.

KIKI was sitting back on a sofa chair, wearing over-sized flashy headphones that almost covered half her small face. She was fully absorbed in a fierce star wars game on the holographic screen, her nimble fingers flying across the virtual console, muttering excitedly about the battle situations. Having just showered, she was only wearing a sports vest and ultra-short pink home shorts, her fair little legs swinging upwards in the air.

"Hey, tinkering with those is fine, but don’t blow anything up~"

KIKI took the lollipop out of her mouth and turned around to shout at Sha Sha.
