Chapter 366: Waldo’s disappearance

Only a red sun rose into view, and from its center, a colossal figure emerged slowly. Simultaneously, the endless rays of the red sun twisted and contorted. Soon, the surface of the red sun transformed into the immense form of a supreme deity!

"You, damn you!" the deity roared in anger, followed by a colossal palm crashing down with the same overwhelming force, once again knocking Waldo’s shadowy figure to the ground.

"Do you even eat your meals? Is that all the strength you’ve got? You must be dreaming if you think you can kill me," Waldo surprisingly stood up again, not having perished yet. This surface-dwelling human had an astonishing resilience!

"Is this guy some kind of indestructible cockroach? He’s still alive and kicking!" The supreme deity exclaimed, seemingly impressed.

"I can only withstand one blow from the supreme deity, and this surface-dwelling human has managed to endure for so long under the full force of my attack. Truly remarkable!"

Meanwhile, four demigods, feeling the tremendous power of the supreme deity’s descending palm, had their expressions slightly change. They retreated a considerable distance. Yet, to their surprise, the surface-dwelling human, at the center of the palm, remained alive.

At that moment, the demigods frowned and exchanged uncertain glances. "Don’t worry; he’s definitely on his last legs. He won’t last much longer," one of the demigods said.

The others nodded in agreement. High above in the sky, the colossal shadow of the supreme deity furrowed its brow. "He’s still not dead?" The supreme deity was also taken aback.

This was all due to Waldo’s incredible resilience. He had maximized his Indomitable Form, which had significantly increased the strength of his shadowy figure. Even the supreme deity couldn’t resolve the situation in the shortest amount of time.

Waldo had turned into an undeniable force, much like an indestructible cockroach. "Very well, if you’re so eager for death, I shall grant your wish!"

At this moment, the supreme deity was also enraged. His enormous form on the red sun moved with a single step, causing all the light on the red sun to converge towards him, making his ethereal figure exceptionally solid.

This massive ethereal figure strode directly from the red sun towards the ground, and this action intensified the radiance of the entire red sun.

The radiance of the entire underwater world dimmed significantly. Soon, the deity’s avatar drew near to the ground, growing to the size of a mountain, emanating immense pressure. Then, the colossal figure extended a massive foot, looming over Waldo in the deep pit.

"You wish for death, and I shall grant it!" the deity roared.

With a resounding crash, the deity’s foot landed, causing the earth to tremble. Massive chasms appeared, spreading in all directions.

"You..." came a faint voice from the pit where Waldo was.

Without hesitation, the deity’s avatar stomped down once again, causing the pit to deepen even further, now well over ten meters deep. Numerous cracks formed, extending even farther.

At this moment, the second base had turned into ruins. The few remaining structures collapsed, shattered, and crumbled in the violent shaking of the earth.

"I..." a voice still emanated from the deep pit.

The deity’s avatar continued to stomp, one after the other, for a full ten minutes. The entire landscape was now shattered, and even distant mountain ranges had crumbled due to the earth’s tremors.

Countless massive chasms crisscrossed the vast land. In the center, a seemingly bottomless abyss had formed.

"Finally, he must be dead now!" the deity said with anger in his voice. He was genuinely furious. Being toyed with by this surface-dwelling human had stripped him of his dignity.

Therefore, he was determined to make sure this surface-dwelling human met his end, regardless of the cost. "You have wasted the source power I’ve accumulated over so many years. You’re getting what you deserve. The rest of you, go down and find his body, then bring it to my palace!"

The deity’s avatar pointed at the four bewildered demigods who were still trying to recover.

"Yes, sir!" the four demigods responded in unison.

The deity’s avatar nodded and then suddenly dispersed into the heavens and the earth. The radiance of the red sun in the sky returned to normal, but its brightness seemed slightly dimmer compared to when it first appeared.

The four demigods, one by one, entered the abyss, searching for Waldo’s body.

However, no matter how hard they searched, they couldn’t find his body. They couldn’t even find any related blood or clothing. In an instant, the four demigods in the area exchanged puzzled glances.

"What’s going on? This shouldn’t be! A surface-dwelling human couldn’t possibly have survived! The deity stomped on him so many times; how could he possibly have survived? We all know we can’t withstand even a single step from the deity!" one of them exclaimed.

"But we haven’t found his body! We couldn’t even find blood or clothing!" another demigod added.

They all simultaneously considered a possibility, but they couldn’t bring themselves to believe it.

"Let’s search more thoroughly. Dig deep into the ground if we have to, but we must find the body, or at the very least, a broken bone! If the deity were to learn that this surface-dwelling human escaped and made a fool of him, I can’t even imagine how furious he would be. Search!"

The demigods shuddered at the thought of the deity discovering the truth. They feared the consequences that might befall not only Waldo but all of them.

Soon, the four demigods continued digging for half an hour, but they still found nothing.

The four individuals met with somber expressions and exchanged glances.

"We didn’t find anything!"

"This surface-dwelling human is incredibly strange. How could this happen? It’s infuriating!"

"We have no choice. We must inform the deity of the truth. Even if he’s exceptionally furious, there’s no escaping it."

An hour later, the four demigods arrived at the central red sun with all possible speed and stood before the palace of the supreme deity of the underwater world. After a moment, a thunderous roar echoed from within.

"You bunch of useless trash!"

Simultaneously, four figures were sent flying out of the palace, and they went who knows how far before crashing down. The four demigods had pale faces, and their cries of pain continued.

Afterward, a giant, towering at fifteen feet, emerged from the palace. His face was filled with rage, and his eyes glowed crimson.

"Awaken everyone in slumber! Turn the entire world upside down for me! Find the passage to the surface, and I don’t just want to kill that surface-dwelling human, I want to make the surface world fully submit to me! Nihility, will you accompany me?!"

At the same time, there were tremendous rumblings coming from two other red suns.

Meanwhile, in the surface world, amid the icy landscape, a figure suddenly broke through the thick ice and ascended into the sky. This person was none other than Waldo, who had just left the underwater world.

In the sky, dark clouds loomed, with lightning flashing and thunder echoing ominously.

Waldo looked up.

"How fortunate, the passage is opening just when I need it to leave the underwater world. If I miss this opportunity, I might have to wait two days in the underwater world. By then, the furious deity might find me and discover the passage to the surface world. That wouldn’t be good!"
