However, the man standing on the observation deck of the Armored RV stared grimly ahead, completely ignoring the survivors’ cries for help.

Jiang Yun’er swallowed nervously. She was already exhausted from killing the Black Spine Zergs, and the residual power from her nine previous enhancements had all but faded.

Her Physique was average to begin with, and now she was powerless against the Black Spine Zergs.

Moreover, a Tier One Awakening required a stable state and environment.

Jiang Yun’er knew that if she didn’t beg Lin Feng to let her onto the RV right now...

...only death awaited her.

So she suddenly stripped off her blood-stained jacket, revealing a wide expanse of snow-white skin. Her impressive bust was almost too much for the eyes to take in.

After wiping her face clean with the inside of her jacket, she shouted loudly toward Lin Feng:

"Lin Feng, take me with you! I can give you anything you want, including myself!"

"You’ve wanted me for a long time, haven’t you? Let me on the RV, and I’ll be your woman, all of me!"

With tears welling in her eyes, Jiang Yun’er pleaded:

"I’m begging you, please save me!"

Hearing the woman’s wails, Lin Feng’s brow furrowed slightly, and he withdrew his gaze from the distance.

His attention had been captured by a massive Black Spine Zerg Swarm rushing toward them from the distance. The soldiers behind the RV had also spotted it, which was why they had chosen to flee so decisively.

The Black Spine Zerg army appeared two or three kilometers away. There were hundreds, if not thousands of them, forming an undulating black line on the horizon that was incredibly intimidating.

Only after confirming the Swarm’s distance and estimated arrival time did Lin Feng, amid Jiang Yun’er’s pleas, slowly turn his head. He saw the starlet casting aside all her dignity and principles just to beg for rescue.

The corners of Lin Feng’s mouth lifted slightly as he told Chen Yanyan to open the Armored RV’s trunk.

The upgraded, widened trunk was completely separate from the main cabin of the RV, so he didn’t have to worry about them getting inside. The only problem was that the trunk was filled with residual fluids from the live Zergs, and being cooped up in there on a hot day...

The stench was more than any normal person could bear.

But right now, not getting on board meant death. Seeing that Lin Feng had opened the trunk, Jiang Yun’er and the other survivors scrambled to the back of the vehicle and clambered inside.

They were terrified Lin Feng would change his mind and abandon them deep in the treacherous Zerg territory.

Lin Feng laughed, looking at their desperate, panicked scramble. "Don’t rush, there’s room for everyone," he shouted. "I’m not a bad person. Relax, I’ll definitely get you all out of here."

By now, Jiang Yun’er and the others had all piled in. The last two members of the film crew slammed the trunk door shut.

After everyone let out a long sigh of relief, Jiang Yun’er heard Lin Feng’s slightly mocking reply, and her face flushed red with shame and anger.

The thought of that scene, witnessed by everyone—especially her stripping off her jacket, leaving her in nothing but a thin, tight tank top—made the stench in the cramped space all the more unbearable.

Jiang Yun’er looked at the four subordinate employees in front of her, a fierce glint in her eyes. Her hands slowly tightened around the rifle slung at her waist.

...

Seeing that everyone had boarded the RV, Lin Feng shouted to Chen Yanyan in the driver’s seat:

"Alright, let’s move out!"

Chen Yanyan reversed the vehicle, threw it into a U-turn, then stomped on the gas, speeding back in the direction they came from.

At the same time, Lin Feng seized his opportunity. As they passed a spot flanked by small hills tens of meters high, he dropped the ten blocks of TNT he had prepared.

He armed them as he tossed them out.

Then he gripped the Detonator in his hand.

The device’s maximum range was just under two kilometers, making it far less precise than using detonation cords.

But Lin Feng couldn’t afford to stop, so he had to rely on the Armored RV maintaining a constant distance from the Black Spine Zerg army behind them.

Fortunately, Chen Yanyan’s control over the RV had reached a state of perfection, and she was able to carry out all of Lin Feng’s instructions with ease.

About a kilometer away from where the explosives were dropped, the Armored RV slowly decelerated.

Lin Feng stared nervously as an overwhelming army of Black Spine Zergs poured out from between the two hills. They not only flooded the six-lane highway but also swarmed all over the mountainsides in a black, writhing mass.

’The Zerg Race has clearly adapted,’ he thought. ’They wouldn’t let me keep farming them like this. Not after I’ve ambushed them twice...’

’The Mother Empress was already wary of this highway.’

’An army of Black Spine Zergs this large could only have assembled in two or three minutes if it was an ambush.’

’Too bad for them. This time, I’m not here to capture live specimens.’

’So I won’t be hesitating or waiting!’

’My goal is pure slaughter...’

’To eliminate as many Black Spine Zergs as possible!’

Once a portion of the Black Spine Zerg army had passed between the hills, he decisively slammed the Detonator. A deafening BOOM echoed through the landscape.

The TNT charges on the highway and the adjacent hillsides detonated simultaneously. The violent explosion blasted tons of rock and debris into the air.

It triggered landslides on both hills, burying the already fractured highway.

The shockwave instantly killed seventy to eighty Black Spine Zergs at the epicenter and flattened every Zerg within a three-hundred-meter radius.

Huge numbers of Black Spine Zergs were grievously wounded, unable to rise.

Unfortunately, the Black Spine Zergs that were vaporized at the explosion’s epicenter didn’t grant Lin Feng many Upgrade Points. Perhaps the distance was too great, or perhaps kills from traps didn’t count for much.

Either way, it wasn’t a problem.

Right now, the downed Black Spine Zergs were the real prize!

Chen Yanyan immediately opened fire with the Armored RV’s Machine Cannon and its ten Replica Heavy Machine Guns, which had infinite ammo, raking the distant blast zone.

There was no need to aim.

There were simply too many, thousands of Black Spine Zergs.

Almost every shot was a hit!

Now Lin Feng was getting a real taste of the exhilarating thrill of farming mobs on a battlefield.

After they had finished off some of the four or five hundred wounded Black Spine Zergs, Lin Feng watched the Armored RV’s Upgrade Points rapidly climb. In just over ten seconds, they hit eighty-eight. Not wanting to get greedy, he ordered Chen Yanyan to hit the gas and flee.

As the engine roared to life, hundreds of surviving Black Spine Zergs gave chase behind the Armored RV.

They had been lucky enough to survive the blast. While the RV was busy mowing down their comrades, they had crossed over a kilometer of ground to catch up to their enemy.

Lin Feng told Chen Yanyan to stop using the Machine Cannon. Its Bullet Recovery rate was too slow, and they couldn’t afford to waste its ammo.

Anyway, they had accumulated enough Upgrade Points to get it to Full Level later. For now, the Level 17 Grenade Cannon in his hands was more than enough to deal with these death-defying bugs.

Of course, Lin Feng was just playing support; the real harvesting was left to the ten Heavy Machine Guns. As Replicas, they granted their wielder one-tenth of the Upgrade Points per kill.

This way, Chen Yanyan could safely and quickly accumulate the number of Zerg kills required for her own Upgrade.

However, to Lin Feng’s surprise, a gunshot suddenly rang out from the RV’s trunk below him during their escape.

The trunk door flew open, and a corpse tumbled out. Then, at Jiang Yun’er’s direction, the three other surviving employees were huddled by the opening before she kicked them out of the vehicle.

When it came to life or death, no amount of alluring charm was more persuasive than the black muzzle of a gun.

And a normal person’s Physique was no match for a nine-times Enhanced Person—who was four times stronger—even if Jiang Yun’er herself was also exhausted.

The three people broke their arms and legs upon impact and, just like the corpse before them, were quickly consumed by the roiling Swarm.

Sending up sprays of crimson.

Lin Feng looked down and his eyes met Jiang Yun’er’s as she was about to close the trunk door.

Then he heard her shout:

"Lin Feng, I want to come up! The trunk stinks!"

There was a ladder on the trunk’s rear door that led up to the observation deck on the second level.

Lin Feng glanced at the sky and nodded.

"Throw away the gun and come on up."

Jiang Yun’er hesitated for a moment. Her eyes fell on the crimson-black armor Lin Feng was wearing, and she tossed her rifle aside. She turned, grabbing onto the side of the trunk door that was still closed, and got a firm grip on the ladder attached to it.

Step by step, she climbed up to the second level of the RV.

Battered by the howling wind, she used the last of her strength. Just as she was about to pull herself over the railing and into the observation deck...

Suddenly, a flicker of movement in his peripheral vision set Lin Feng on high alert!

He snapped his head up and looked overhead.

A streak of green light was diving down at the terrifying speed of over a hundred meters per second!

Lin Feng immediately roared:

"Down on your knees!"

Jiang Yun’er froze for a second.

But it was as if she was already used to it...

She subconsciously dropped into a kneeling crouch, tightly grabbing the pockets on both sides of Lin Feng’s pants.

Little did she know, this very action had just saved her life.
