His gaze remained fixed on Stella Sterling. "But I gotta say, little beauty, what’s the point of being so stubborn? Come with me, and I guarantee you’ll eat and drink well. I’ll take good care of you!"

Hearing his words, Stella Sterling merely narrowed her eyes. Her expression remained impassive, as calm as ever.

She turned to the man who had just told her to charge them, beckoning with a finger. "You. Come here. You lead the charge. I’ll back you up!"

The man’s jaw dropped. Pointing at his own nose, he stammered in disbelief, "M-me? No way! I can’t do it!"

Charging in alone? What was the difference between that and committing suicide? ’Is Stella Sterling still holding a grudge over what I said? Is she trying to get revenge on me?!’

Stella Sterling flashed a brilliant smile. "Don’t worry, you’ll be fine!"

As she spoke, she stepped forward and yanked him toward her. Amid his shrieks, she hoisted the man up and hurled him at the enemy group.

The men on the other side were stunned as a large body suddenly came flying toward them!

Before they could even react, Stella Sterling snatched up her shovel and charged forward.

"Huh? We’re fighting now?"

"She didn’t even give a signal!"

The people behind Stella Sterling froze for a moment, their faces a mask of confusion.

But then, casting aside their hesitation, they grabbed their own makeshift weapons and charged at the other group!

They understood now. They were in this with Stella Sterling and had to stick together. If they fell into the hands of these thugs, their fate would be grim.

THUD! The man Stella Sterling had thrown knocked down several people. The sudden development sent the scarred, greasy man’s crew into a momentary panic.

A man had just staggered to his feet when he was met with the flat of Stella Sterling’s shovel.

She was much stronger than before. Even though a shovel wasn’t as handy as a knife, with her current strength, one solid hit was enough to make a man’s body buckle and send him flying.

It was a truly shocking sight.

The scarred, greasy man sneered. "So the little wench has a few tricks up her sleeve. No matter. Allow me to teach you a lesson!"

As he spoke, his corpulent body moved with surprising speed and agility as he charged at Stella Sterling.

As the leader of this group, he naturally had some skills of his own. Despite his bulk, his movements were nimble, and it was obvious he was trained.

He deftly dodged Stella Sterling’s shovel swing, seized the opening, and lunged at her with a dagger.

His attack held none of the supposed tenderness from his words. He was utterly merciless, each thrust aimed at a vital point.

A glint of excitement flashed in Stella Sterling’s eyes. Tossing the unwieldy shovel aside, she engaged him in bare-handed combat.

The scarred, greasy man, who had been so confident at first, found his expression growing increasingly grim.

He managed to dodge several of her attacks with his agile footwork, but he couldn’t get close to her either. And what’s more...

BAM! A fist connected with his face, the impact making the fat on his cheeks ripple violently. His face seemed to contort as his head snapped to one side.

He staggered back two steps.

But he didn’t dare hesitate, immediately steadying himself to face the coming attack.

’What the hell did they feed this woman growing up? She looks so thin and small, yet her strength is insane. One punch to the gut feels like it’s rattling my organs. It hurts like hell!’

Even with his sturdy frame, he had to avoid her blows at all costs. The moment she landed a hit, the sheer force would send him stumbling back a great distance.

After just a short exchange and a few landed blows, he ached all over, and found he could no longer put any force into his own attacks.

Another BAM! The more blows he took, the slower his reactions became, and he gradually found himself unable to cope with Stella Sterling’s assault.

He yelled, "What are you all doing? Get over here and help! How many of you does it take to handle a few old geezers and kids?"

At his shout, five or six men broke off and charged toward Stella Sterling.

Her previous fights had been too easy. Stella decided to use these men for some practice, so she continued to fight bare-handed.

With five or six of the thugs peeling off to deal with Stella Sterling, the pressure on the rest of her group lessened considerably.

The two sides were now locked in a brawl within the office building.

Outside, a fierce wind howled and hailstones danced in the gale. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Inside, the space was a wreck, with dust and debris filling the air.

Stella Sterling had intended to drag out the fight for more practice, but for some reason, the sound of the hail striking the building grew louder and louder.

A sense of unease crept into her heart, and she decided to end the fight quickly.

She seized an opportunity to retrieve her shovel and brought it down in a powerful swing. The force of the blow was so immense it nearly flattened one of the men.

The gruesome sight terrified the others. The fat leader let out a cry, abandoned his men, and fled.

Stella Sterling started to give chase, but the ground beneath her trembled, and dust and grit began to rain down from above.

Alarmed, she shouted to the others, "Run! The building is collapsing!"

After shouting the warning, she sprinted toward the ice tunnel, not even sparing a thought for the food supplies she had left behind.

Hearing her cry, the people with Stella Sterling scrambled to run.

CRASH!

"AHH!"

More and more dust and debris rained down from the ceiling, accompanied by a series of deafening crashes. The hailstorm had actually smashed through the office building! It punched through floor after floor, all the way down to the underground garage.

Hailstones the size of small balls rained down one after another, like meteors falling from the sky!

One of the scarred man’s thugs was struck in the head by a hailstone and collapsed, unmoving.

The remaining thugs were terrified, scrambling to dodge the falling hail. Some ran blindly in a panic, others made a beeline for the ice tunnel, and a few couldn’t bear to part with the supplies, trying to grab the food before they fled.

But just as one of them bent down, a hailstone struck him, and his life was snuffed out.

Witnessing this, the others immediately abandoned any similar ideas about retrieving the supplies.

"Run! Don’t take anything!"

"Help!"

Stella Sterling weaved left and right, dodging the falling chunks of ice. Thankfully, her current agility was incredible, allowing her to narrowly avoid being hit several times. If one of those had connected, it would have been all over for her.

"Ah!"

"My husband!"

A pained cry rang out beside her. She turned her head just in time to see the old man from the couple get shoved to the ground by a young boy who had been near him. The boy then darted into the ice tunnel.

The scream had come from the old woman.

Just then, a hailstone was about to crash down right on top of the old man. His wife tried to pull him up, but Stella yanked her back, kicked the old man clear of the impact zone, and then rolled to the side herself.
