BEAST TAMING: OTHERS HAVE MAGIC BEASTS, MINE ARE IMMORTAL BEASTS
Chapter 195 REBUILDING
"So, what’s the current plan for rebuilding our city?"
"Sorry, principal Christine but I’m going to be busy building the second portal so that your city and my city can be connected and also prevents any portals to open near your city and Innates entering without any warning."
"You don’t need to apologize, you’re already doing so much for us, your presence here gives us comfort, no one will dare attack us with you around."
"In that regard, you don’t need to worry, I will be on guard against anything and I will also let Bai patrol the area around the city just to be double check."
It didn’t really take that long for them to arrive, the cloud is now much faster than before.
"We’re here, do you want to rebuild your home at the exact same place or rebuild it somewhere else?"
"We’re already used to our home but we’re hoping to build it at a much higher place, making it difficult for anyone to enter."
"Sorry, I don’t know how to build a flying city."
"A flying city!? What an amazing idea but we’re not that ambitious nor we have the means to accomplish such a thing, what I meant was to turn the flat ground into a tall mountain or just cliff."
"No, that’s too dangerous, if there’s an Innate, no, you just need a pseudo Innate to tear down an artificial mountain."
Christine pouts, she thought that her idea was perfect, with their flying pet beasts, their Wind Family are going to be the rulers of their city.
"If you want to protect your cities, then, you can do flying knight patrols, you guys can train a group of people from your family to be flying knights patrolling your territory."
"That works." She’s happy to hear such an idea, they can also use this opportunity to recruit talented individuals.
"At least you guys can start rebuilding your city, what about ours? We’re still lacking in people!" Bear grumbles, clearly can’t accept that their city might truly disappear in history.
"Let’s land!"
As they slowly descends, they were shocked to see multiple people had gathered in the mounds that they created.
Sean can see that they panicked when they saw the clouds descending.
Some of them steps forward and grabs some makeshift weapons and aims it at them, some of them were martial artists and they are more orderly than the trembling individuals.
Conqueror’s Will!
The overpowering might of his aura causes everyone to freeze.
"We mean you no harm, we’re from this zone too, I’m Sean, the guardian of Zone Z."
They were startled, this is the first time they heard about him.
Suddenly, Bear crashes to the ground, his expression was anxious, he charges towards the group.
"Are you all survivors from City Z3!?"
The people were stunned, one of the martial artists suddenly shouts. "Are you lord Bear!?"
"Yes! I am Bear! The principal of our school!"
Sean waves his hand, preventing those from City Z3 from jumping off his cloud, he lowers the cloud much faster seeing the anxious look in the faces of Cladiius and the rest.
"Survivors! Our city has survivors!" Even thought there are only twelve individuals in front of them, it was enough to rekindled their hope.
"Bear, I leave them to you, tell them that we’re going to destroy this structure."
Bear nods his head and brings the survivors, they have a lot of things to talk about.
Sean slaps the ground and the earthen walls starts to shake and crumble.
He smiles at this, the expression of the survivors of City Z3 becomes gloomy, they don’t want to see this.
After all, they used that dome as their home for these past couple of days, giving them the warmth that they had been longing for.
"Don’t worry,we have accomplished a heaven defying feat that would protect us from another invasion from those bxstards again!"
Bear nods his head, all of it was because of the man in front of them.
"Bear, we’re leaving!" Xi Mu and the soldiers waves goodbye, they are envious of their good luck but this also increases their resolves to hunt down the remaining antihuman forces in their zone.
"They look like members from the boundary army."
"They are, they are also the remaining ones left in the army, every single one of their brothers died trying to protect our zone."
"What!? The boundary armies were annihilated!?"
"Yes, the boundaries had also collapsed, now every part of our world is connected, we’re actually the safest zone in existence."
The survivors were skeptical but Bear knows that they won’t believe Sean’s greatness unless they witnessed it themselves.
"There are some materials left lying in the area, you can reuse them as building materials, I’m going to search for mineral veins that contains iron ores, I’ll leave Bai with all of you."
With a wave in his hand, Bai appears, it let out a loud roar that shakes the area, it might just be a silver rank but it’s not a bit weaker from any gold rank.
"Strange, this place iron deposit was mined dry." He mutters after searching for three hours.
He returns and shares the news to the rest and their expressions turns pale.
"Before we traveled here, I collected some materials, they should had been for emergency use but it seems that I can only use it." He lies.
The materials he meant actually came from Beast World.
[World Vein (Refined into Beast World): Produces all sort of metals, including magic and spiritual metals. Enriches the metal element of the world.]
It situated directly below Wuk’s kingdom, helping the golden trees and Iron Monkeys grow.
"I had heard that Wuk collected a lot of metal ores, too bad that the mineral veins were drained dry." He sighs.
"I think that it is still lacking, why don’t we ask Jericho for help? He already has experience searching for iron ore veins."
"They only managed to achieve success because of the mystique guardian of the Gold Family, we need someone or something that’s extremely sensitive towards metal element."
ROAR!
Bai suddenly let out a roar and stares at him.
He nearly slaps himself in the head, how can he forgot about Bai, it’s not a living being but a creature that’s created by the collection of his metal element, basically a metal core, it’s as sensitive as any elemental metal creature to metal element.
"Bai, go search for any iron veins present, I’ll help Christine and the rest in rebuilding their cities in the meantime."
Bai roars and soars through the sky and starts searching for iron veins.
"Is there enough materials for this project!" He asks.
"Don’t worry, if there aren’t we can use the surrounding trees as materials."
"Still, the number of mystique creatures present in the area has decreased greatly to the point that there’s nothing left, those bxstards has drained the resources of your territory dry."
"I know! If I’m not wrong, the reason for the disappearance of the surrounding mines were also their fault."
"It will take years before your city can fully recover from this."
"We know, that’s why we have decided to use our advantage of being able to control flying mystique creatures and the absence of danger in the area to create two departments to help gather funds."
"Two departments?"
"Yeah, we’re going to use our flying mystique creatures as transport, helping you guys move, while, the second department is going to be an agriculture department, we’re going to sell raw materials."
"That’s amazing! If you guys can truly be successful in these endeavours, there’s a high chance that you guys can even grow strong than in the past, I think that you guys are lacking in number though."
The largest number of individuals is currently on the capital city and Z4.
"We know, that’s why we’re going to join your group when you try rescuing people in the other cities, we’re going to snatch some of them."
"That, I can’t deny that you guys can do that but it’s highly unlikely that you’re capable of changing their minds in living in the capital city."
"Yeah, but I know that your city will only offer them protection, we’re going to give them a chance to become martial artists."
"Yep, that would move a lot of them but you guys have a lot of competitions."
"You mean Bear and the others! We had already talked to them and made some arrangements."
"Wow, I can’t believe you guys are already planning your future when you hadn’t even rebuilt your city yet."
They flash him a big smile.
The people already started cutting the trees nearby, it seems that they are already insistent in creating multiple villages around their territory just to build farms for medicines.
"Are you guys planning on competing against the Evergreen Family?"
"No, we know we can’t, after all, we aren’t a plant based family, what we have is a cooperation, together with the Flame Clan."
"So you guys are going to be the suppliers for the Flame Clan but still, I can’t believe that you guys would let go of such a large market."
"What can we do? All of our alchemist were killed or taken by those bxstards, we don’t have anyone competent enough to compete with the Flame Clan."
"Why do you guys need to compete, the market is extremely large, not to mention, no matter how great of an alchemist they are, they aren’t as strong as you guys."
"We never thought of that way."
"It’s because you guys are still thinking of the same old mindset when order is still being kept, our time is different, there are multiple dangers that exists everywhere."
"Both Jasmine and I had already made specific rules that requires power to pass through."
"Shops that sell items that are related to martial artists or mystique creatures needs at least an iron ranker as a manager or guardian, those that sells for both needs a bronze ranker, pill shops needs at least a silver ranker and pet shops requires gold rankers, this is the same for dojos, for schools, principals needs to be elite gold rankers and for academies, they need at least a pseudo Innate to be the president."
"Wow, everything is tied to strength."
"Yes, you can’t even create a mercenary group without being at least a silver rank."
"That means that they can’t expand if their strength aren’t up to par?"
"Yes, this is to increase the motivation of everyone to grow stronger, besides, you can use contribution points to increase your ranking speed."
John suddenly asks. "Is you legendary technique up for sale also?"
"Yes, you can trade it with contribution points, in fact, Christine here, can already claim it because it’s one of the one time deal I give to the most powerful figure in each city."
"Really!? Then, can I claim it now!?" He was surprised by her intense reaction.
"Shouldn’t you be more focused in rebuilding your city?"
She shakes her head. "I need to grow stronger as quickly as possible, I know for a fact that I’m not as strong as either Frost or Bear, the two of them are bonafide elite gold rankers, I only managed to reach my current rank because of the support of my family."
He can see the desperation in her eyes.
"Alright, I’m free anyway, we should do it in a much more private location."
He waves his hand and his trusty cloud appears.
The two of them rises to the sky, with a deep breath, she takes off all of her clothes.
He looks at her with admiration, as expected of someone with a great ambition, she forgo her shame for an opportunity to grow stronger.
"This is going to feel both painful and pleasurable, don’t hold yourself back as it might block the flow of energy, you can cry all you want, it’s only the two of us here."
She bites her lip and blushes, she can’t help but feel that his words are strange.
