The tens of different kinds of insectoids numbered in the tens of billions, all cheering when their promised hour had arrived. They celebrated merrily as Huang Qi devoured the Mayfly Brainlord before glaring at Tianming.

"This is the ruler's next prey!" cried a bee-head person.

"He seems to have taken something most precious from the ruler!" accused one with a mosquito head.

The bee-head insectoid slapped him and raged, "Shut up! The most important thing of our ruler is that legendary ball with holes. It's the incarnation of the universe's will!"

"It doesn't matter. These two uglies have nowhere to escape to."

"Now that you mention it, look at their simple eyes and red lips. They really do look disgusting."

"They're so ugly! We undying aeternals look far better."

Tianming didn't quite know what to feel about the disparaging comments about their heads, while Zi Zhen was starting to feel angry again. "You stupid insects!"

Eventually, Huang Qi finished sucking up all the contents in the Mayfly Brainlord's brain matter, putting an end to the long reign of the usurper over the Sea of Aeternity. The rest of the insectoids went even wilder and slaughtered all of the mayfly divinities as they cheered for Huang Qi.

"Copulate! Copulate!" Many undying aeternals immediately began to slam their heads together and started mating, whether they were of the same kind of insect or not. It didn't really matter, since their lower bodies were identical.

Tianming got a full up-close view of what these lifeforms that resided within the 'brain of the universe' were like. There wasn't anything about them that was normal, making it hard for them to be considered human.

The fact that they were so odd made Huang Qi even more terrifying. Once she removed her proboscis from the Mayfly Brainlord, yellow storms began to surge around her body. Her head snapped around as her compound eyes locked onto Tianming.

"It's simple." Her thin, beautiful fingers pointed at the proboscis between her mandibles as she chuckled. "I can suck it all out from you and slowly refine it into a part of myself. I really am thankful for you. I wouldn't be able to control it if not for you. That thing contains far too many secrets..."

"What will happen to me once you finish sucking it out?" Tianming asked.

"You'll be no more, of course. You have already become one with it, so that's too bad. However, I won't go too far. I'll only take back what is owed to me. As for your girl and lifebound beasts, I'll release them. I've been by your side for so long, after all, so I've started to develop the least bit of fondness for them."

"The turtle shell will break soon!" Huang Qi's sucker seemed like a super cosmic relic, piercing through the shield of the skypole stars like metal through paper, piercing into the top of Tianming's skull, going hundreds of meters deep until it reached his astral brain.

Tianming felt a sense of terror like never before as he experienced the same kind of sensation that the Mayfly Brainlord had suffered through moments before its death. His vision blanked out completely as his body trembled nonstop.

Tianming was surrounded by the aura of death. Huang Qi's laughter had become the most terrifying sound in this world. His face paled as he turned to look at the purple-haired girl behind him. With a weak voice, he said, "Baby, this sight should be enough to make you angrier than ever, right?"

He watched as Zi Zhen's eyes snapped open, only to see the man she loved being pressed down by the insectoid ruler and about to be sucked dry! Seeing someone who had always been so impressive in that pitiful state made her feel like the sharpest needle in the world had pierced through her heart.
