That was, Confucianism would only cultivate Heavenly Aura and not cultivate Dao or cultivate laws.

It could strengthen the laws, but not strengthen life span!

Even with a Great Scholar, the lifespan would not exceed a few centuries at most, not unlike ordinary people.

Only stepping into the Eighth Stage and planting the scholarly seeds, becoming a saint,

This would grant a lifespan of tens of thousands of years.

Is tens of thousands of years a long time?

It might seem like a long time compared to ordinary people, but compared to those of the same stage, capable of standing against eternity, it seems laughable.
