Beyond the Apocalypse - Chapter 1122: The arrival of a Primordial God (III)
Odinvaldr stared at the Xaos King, clearly sensing the killing intent radiating from him. At the same time, he observed how the Vikings worshipped Vlad’s words and power with almost the same devotion they once reserved for their ancient god.
And yet, instead of anger, a wide smile slowly appeared on the Primordial God’s face.
He nodded.
"Fair."
With that single word, Odinvaldr rose into the sky, passing beyond the barrier of the Divine Dome until he reached the highest reaches of the First Layer of Hell. There he hovered, alone beneath the vast infernal firmament.
Then he clasped his hands together.
The movement seemed simple, but the power behind it was anything but. A shockwave of cosmic force rippled across the entire sky, causing the firmament itself to vibrate.
Under the watchful gaze of the True Depravita of Wrath and every Viking below, the heavens began to glow.
Streams of majestic cosmic power manifested across the sky, forming an enormous and intricate structure of light.
"The Universe Matrix..."
Vlad’s eyes widened as he recognized the phenomenon.
The Universe Matrix was not merely a source of power—it was the very foundation of reality itself. It represented the primal structure of existence, the laws that allowed space-time to function and all forms of life to exist within the universe.
It was one of the most fundamental forces in creation.
More importantly, it was something the Alien Powers could never summon.
Those same cosmic laws were the forces that rejected the Alien entities and imprisoned them within the vast domain of green fog beyond the universe’s borders.
The mere act of invoking the Universe Matrix was proof that this was not some elaborate deception by the Alien Powers.
However, that did not mean the Xaos King relaxed.
The universe was filled with countless dangers, and the Six Sun Alliance had already made powerful enemies. Heaven itself had once stood against him, and beings like the Archangels were more than capable of incredible feats.
Yet Odinvaldr did not stop there.
Drawing upon the immense energy of the Universe Matrix, he began manipulating the laws governing the First Layer of Hell.
"RUMBLE!"
The sky and earth trembled violently.
Cracks spread across the landscape like spiderwebs as overwhelming power coursed through the realm. The fiendish energy saturating Hell reacted explosively, becoming unstable and chaotic.
Massive storms erupted across the entire layer.
Fortunately for the Six Sun Alliance, the civilians were safely protected within the Divine Domes. The warriors outside were powerful enough to endure the violent upheaval without suffering serious harm.
The pressure continued to build.
Stronger.
Heavier.
Until finally, the fiendish energy that defined the First Layer of Hell began to be expelled.
Like a massive tide being forced backward, the infernal energy blasted upward into the void, where it was devoured by the chaotic waves of space.
Vlad and Overlord exchanged a glance.
They both understood what was happening.
The Primordial God of Bloodshed and Battle was rewriting the First Layer of Hell itself.
This was not simple terraforming.
He was altering the very laws and principles governing the realm, transforming it from a domain suited for Devils into a world compatible with beings aligned with The Light.
For the Six Sun Alliance, such a project would have taken centuries—perhaps even millennia—and it would have required the guidance of a Paragon capable of rewriting reality.
Yet under Odinvaldr’s control, it was unfolding in real time.
Once the fiendish energy had been expelled, the transformation accelerated dramatically.
The oppressive aura that had once flooded the entire realm—the dark presence capable of corrupting weaker minds and souls—began to fade.
Pure natural light descended from the sky.
It was no longer the sickly, infernal glow that had once illuminated Hell.
Plants began sprouting across the land.
Clean rivers formed and flowed through the massive continents.
Life returned.
The entire transformation was both majestic and transcendent.
For seven days the First Layer of Hell trembled as the process continued.
When the tremors finally stopped, the realm had become almost unrecognizable.
The land, oceans, and sky had all changed.
The environment was filled with flourishing flora and fauna reminiscent of those once found in Valhalla. The energy permeating the realm was now clean and pure—perfect for beings of the Light to cultivate and train within.
Even the laws governing the realm had stabilized into an ideal form.
Warriors could now practice and grow stronger there without worrying about corruption or interference from fiendish energy.
At last, the Universe Matrix faded.
Its radiant structure dissolved back into the fabric of the cosmos.
With the task complete, Odinvaldr slowly descended back into the Divine Dome, positioning himself directly in front of the True Depravita of Wrath.
The transformation had clearly cost him a tremendous amount of power.
His aura had weakened significantly.
His face was pale.
Anyone could see that he was currently in no condition to fight.
Vlad stared at Odinvaldr for several seconds, his expression complicated.
Most of his suspicions had faded.
Only a being deeply connected to the highest laws of the universe could have altered the fundamental nature of the First Layer of Hell so completely.
Still, Vlad did not lower his guard. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
It might sound paranoid, but the universe was simply too dangerous for carelessness. A single mistake could cost billions of lives.
Yet Odinvaldr’s actions had earned a great deal of goodwill.
After a moment, the True Depravita of Wrath sighed softly and nodded.
"I will accept your identity... for the time being."
As he said this, Vlad glanced down toward the Vikings below. They were still kneeling in reverence, their eyes filled with awe and devotion.
"I assume you would prefer some privacy to explain your sudden arrival."
Odinvaldr followed Vlad’s gaze toward the gathered Vikings.
A warm, almost nostalgic smile appeared on his face.
"I am glad to see my people again," the Primordial God said softly. "But there are things that are safer if they remain unknown."
Vlad nodded in agreement.
After confirming that everyone inside the dome was safe, he stepped closer and placed a hand on Odinvaldr’s shoulder.
A ripple of space distorted around them.
The next instant, both figures vanished.
