[BL] The Mafia Boss Wants My Body
Chapter 195: The Truth Behind the Obsession
"We’ll see about that," Kevin snarled. He stepped forward, grabbed Adrian’s arm tightly, and plunged the needle deep into his skin, emptying the syringe.
As Adrian gasped from the sudden sting, Kevin leaned in close, a sadistic smile on his lips. "I have plenty of these. I will keep injecting you until you can’t resist us anymore."
Adrian lifted his head with visible effort, his eyes blazing with hatred despite the pain coursing through his body. He spit a mixture of saliva and blood directly at Kevin’s face.
"I swear I’ll kill both of you myself," he shouted. "You won’t leave this room alive."
Kevin recoiled in disgust.
"How dare you?" he snapped.
He wiped his cheek with the back of his hand, his eyes darkening with fury. Then he stepped forward, violently seized Adrian’s chin, and forced his head back against the chair.
"Try making it out of here alive first," Kevin sneered.
His grip tightened as he looked down at Adrian with contempt.
"It’s not like you’re actually capable of doing anything. The only thing you’re good at is running your mouth."
"You will regret this..." Adrian choked out, his hands clenched into tight fists behind his back as the restraints bit painfully into his wrists.
"Maybe," Kevin scoffed, letting go of his chin with a rough push. "But I will be satisfied. I get to sleep with you and ruin your perfect little relationship with Matteo."
Adrian let out a breathless, mocking laugh, refusing to show even a trace of fear.
"You can beat me, drug me, or threaten me all you want, but there is nothing either of you can do to destroy my relationship. You’re wasting your time."
Kevin tilted his head, a sickeningly confident smirk appearing on his face. "Actually, you are wrong."
Deep inside Adrian’s veins, the injection began to take hold. A sudden, unnatural wave of heat surged from his chest down to his core. His heart rate spiked, racing out of control, and fine beads of sweat immediately broke out across his forehead and neck.
His breathing hitched as his body began to tremble, the drug artificially forcing his system into an intense, overwhelming state of arousal.
Adrian fiercely bit his inner cheek, using physical pain to fight the hazy warmth spreading through his limbs. He refused to give them the satisfaction of hearing him groan. He glared through the sweat, his eyes burning with pure hatred.
"After I sleep with you, I’m very certain your relationship with Matteo will end," Kevin said, watching Adrian’s heavy breathing with absolute relish.
Adrian looked back at him, sweat pouring down his temples, his teeth grinding together so hard his jaw ached. He didn’t say a word.
Kevin paced around the tilted chair, entirely self-satisfied. "Let me tell you what you don’t know about Matteo and me," he began, his voice dripping with arrogance.
"When I first met Matteo during his trip abroad, I didn’t know he had anything going on with my brother. I wasn’t living here in Central City, so there was no way for me to know all the damage Matteo had done back here at home."
Kelly stood by the door, arms crossed, watching Adrian suffer with a look of dark satisfaction.
"The first day Matteo arrived at the property next to mine was the first day I noticed him," Kevin continued, his eyes glazing over with a mix of lingering obsession and resentment.
"He came with a few men. I didn’t know they were his bodyguards then because they weren’t dressed in suits like they are here. That day, I watched him from my house. I watched him stand on that balcony, smoking for hours on end. Throughout the day and late into the night, he just stood there. I could tell he was a man carrying a lot on his mind. He looked so handsome, and he was exactly my style. So I approached him."
Adrian’s breath hitched as a sharp shiver ran down his spine from the drug. He shook his head violently, fighting the haze, his gaze locked onto Kevin like a weapon.
"Initially, I planned to seduce him," Kevin admitted, letting out a bitter laugh. "The first time we sat down and spent time together, I was very interested in him. But Matteo showed absolutely no interest in me."
He shook his head.
"To test the waters, I made up a story about a crush I supposedly had, someone I claimed I’d been talking to who ghosted me after we spent a night together. Matteo actually felt sorry for me."
A dark smile crossed his face.
"He didn’t tell me much about himself, but I could tell he was hurting over something. Throughout the day, we smoked, took drugs, and talked. By nightfall, he was completely high."
Kevin stopped pacing and crouched down to Adrian’s eye level.
"I thought that was my chance," he said. "I offered to help him inside, and he let me lead him to his bedroom. When I lay him down on the bed, I tried to get closer to him. I thought he would give me a chance."
A bitter laugh escaped him.
"But despite how needy and high he was... Matteo pushed me away. He told me he had a boyfriend and he couldn’t do it."
Adrian’s heart swelled with fierce pride despite the drug clouding his mind. A bloody smile tugged at his lips as he stared at Kevin, silently mocking him.
Kevin’s face twisted with remembered humiliation.
"I told him his boyfriend wasn’t there," he said. "I told him we should do it since we were both high. But Matteo refused. He said he couldn’t do that to his partner. He told me that if his boyfriend ever slept with someone else, he would never be able to look at him the same way again. He said it would destroy the relationship and that he’d rather walk away than stay with someone who cheated."
"And then he looked me straight in the eye and said that if it were something he couldn’t accept from his partner, then he wouldn’t do it to him either."
Kevin shook his head, still unable to believe it.
"He was unbelievably stubborn that night. Fiercely loyal. Completely determined. No matter what I said or did, he never once wavered."
Kevin straightened up, his tone turning venomous.
"I forced myself to spend the night in the same room, on the same bed. He was too weak from the drugs to throw me out, but he still kept his distance. In the middle of the night, I tried to touch him again. Matteo didn’t get violent, but he forced himself out of bed and left the room, leaving the bed to me."
His eyes darkened.
"That night, I was incredibly jealous of you without even knowing who you were. I wanted a man like Matteo, someone who would be loyal to me, stand by me, and never want anyone else. Someone who belonged completely to me. But I wasn’t the lucky one. Still, I was determined to find out who was worth that kind of loyalty."
Kelly let out a harsh scoff from the corner.
"When morning came, I went back to my place feeling guilty," Kevin continued, ignoring his brother. "I called Matteo to apologize. He didn’t say anything until I finished talking. A few minutes after the call ended, he sent me a text that said, "Forget it. It was just one night."
"I asked if we could still be friends, and he said, ’ Sure. ’ " After that, I focused strictly on the friendship."
He shook his head.
"He didn’t even stay for a full week. One morning, I went over to his place and found it locked up. It took him hours to reply to my message, and when he finally did, all he said was that something had come up and he had to return home."
Kevin said. "During the time he was there, I was always the one visiting him. Not once did he come over to my place. The only thing he ever did was wave at me whenever he saw me."
Adrian’s body was slick with sweat now. His muscles tensed violently as the aphrodisiac clawed at his senses, making his skin feel agonizingly sensitive. Yet, he clenched his teeth so hard that a metallic taste filled his mouth, entirely refusing to give in to the physical urge to squirm.
"I thought I would get over him, but I didn’t," Kevin hissed. "A few days later, I texted him and asked what city he was from. When he said Central City, I was thrilled because I already had family here.
I had been living abroad since I was a kid, staying with my grandmother. Even after she passed away, I refused to come back home.
So when I suddenly told Kelly I was returning to Central City after all those years, he wanted to know why. At first, I didn’t want to tell him. I hesitated. But eventually, I admitted that I had met someone. I gave him Matteo’s name and described him. Kelly went pale."
Kelly took a step forward, his voice tight with anger.
"I immediately sent him Matteo’s picture to make sure. When Kevin confirmed it was him, I told him it was impossible. Matteo has been stepping on my toes and ruining my life for years."
His hands clenched into fists.
"I told Kevin everything. Every time I complained about something going wrong in my life, Matteo was always the reason behind it."
Kevin picked up where his brother left off.
"I told Kelly right then and there that his problem with Matteo didn’t matter to me," he said, "I told him I liked Matteo and I wanted him. But Kelly warned me." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
His eyes burned with resentment. "He said Matteo was completely obsessed with a piece of trash—you. He said there was nothing I could do to separate the two of you."
A bitter smile twisted his lips.
"Unless we helped each other."
Adrian stared at them...
