Seoha’s POV

Something shifts next to me, moving closer to my body, and I open my eyes slightly to see what it is.

It’s Sooin. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

"My pup" I whisper and pull her small body to closer myself.

I sigh and relax, wrapping my arms around Sooin and the bunny plushie she’s hugging, happy and contented to be home.

I don’t know how I got here, but I’m home in Taesan’s house, I don’t need to look around to know that we’re in his room, just the scent is enough for me.

Home.

My omega purrs as a strange feeling floods my chest, it feels like pride...like there’s something I should be proud of.

And just as soon as I open my eyes again, the memories of the previous day come rushing back to me.

I remember me and Taesan being at the mountain side.

I can still feel the touch of the alpha pulling me down to the floor with him...I vividly remember the way his large hands felt on my waist.

My omega purrs again, louder this time as I remember how he took me on the floor, the way he fucked into me and kept his hands on me.

My cheeks heat up as his confession replays in my mind, the ways he struggled with the words, the way his cheeks got red...

And I smile to myself as the most important of it all comes back to me.

Kang Taesan, the tiger captain of the underworld, bared his neck for me to mark him first.

I suddenly remember the way he groaned as I sank my teeth into his scent gland, the way he tasted of sweat and blood.

My hand leaves Sooin’s shoulder to touch my neck, there’s a bandage on it, it means he bit me back.

I now remember the searing pain that hit me, the way it all traveled through my blood, and the way I blacked out as our souls merge.

Speaking of souls...the pride I feel isn’t mine, it has to be the alpha’s.

I giggle and hide my face, pressing my nose into the top of Sooin’s hair and breathing in her soft scent.

We’re going to be a real family now, we are no longer just playing house, we are being one.

"Daddy" the young pup calls in a small sleepy voice, and by default, I answer her with a hum.

"Why did you and dad go without me?" she asks, I can tell that she’s still sleepy, and the way her bottom lip juts in a pout makes me laugh.

"We’re sorry Innah, we didn’t plan it that way" I say and she opens her eyes, "you’re hurt on your neck" she says.

"Hmm, it will go away very soon" I say and she yawns loudly.

The cute yawn makes me laugh again, she’s too precious for this world, her cute face and sweet heart.

"Did you miss me?" I ask playfully and she moves closer, resting her head on my chest.

"Yes, daddy, if I have a baby brother, I wouldn’t miss you" she says and I pause.

Eh? Baby brother?!

"Eh?" I ask and she giggles.

"Aunty Yuki says you went to make my baby brother, that you and daddy will give me one" the innocent pup says with happiness and I mentally slap my forehead.

Oh Yuki!

"You’re not getting a baby brother yet Sooinie" I say to her and she squeals as I tickle her side.

"I’ll tell dad!" she giggles and squirm around, trying to avoid my fingers and also trying to stay near at the same time.

"You’re so cute" I laugh at her and she makes a face.

"I’m not cute! I’m a big girl, a big sister big girl" she says, trying to make a serious face and I shake my head.

"No, you’re too cute" I pinch her small nose and she bursts into fits of giggle, the most adorable sound in the world.

I feel a tug in my chest, and I just know that it’s Taesan, he can probably feel my happiness through the mating bond.

’Our mating bond’ my omega corrects possessively, and I kiss Sooin’s cheek.

My life is beautiful, today is a fine Sunday, I get to lie in my alpha’s bed with my...Sooin.

"Innah, where is your dad?" I ask and she sits up, "daddy went out before" she says and I hum.

"Let’s get out of bed, do you want to eat anything?" I ask and she starts to jump on the bed, clapping excitedly.

"Yes! Daddy let’s eat toast like that movie" she says and I get out of the bed, realizing that I am putting on Taesan’s shirt.

He must have cleaned me and dressed me when he brought me home last night.

The alpha is always so thoughtful and sweet despite his harsh personality.

"Daddy, aunty Yuki said she is a real princess, is that true?" Sooin asks as we go down the stairs.

"I think so" I say and she gasps dramatically.

"I want to be a princess too" she says with a pout and I chuckle, ruffling her hair, "you are already a princess, Innah" I say.

Just as we are about to make a turn to the kitchen, the doorbell rings, startling me and distracting me for some seconds.

"I’ll go check the door" I say to Sooin and go over to it.

"Hello" I greet with a polite bow as I pull the door open, but I freeze at the sight in front of me.

There is a man standing at the door with his hands in his pocket.

He is dressed in all black, there is a mask over his mouth and nose, and his head is lowered so I can’t see his eyes.

"Hello" he greets back and I nod slowly, too surprised at the unusual sight, and unsure of what to do.

Is he one of Taesan’s clan members?

"Taesan-ssi..." I start to talk with fear and he takes a step forward, slow and purposeful.

"It’s you I’m here to see, Shin Seoha" he says and I take a step back, ready to slam the door and run back in.

"I-I don’t know you" I stutter, heart jackhammering at the way he said my name.

Shin. Seo. Ha.

"Dont be afraid, I’m on your side" he says and holds out his hand.

I stare at the hand with my heart pounding in my chest.

There are million of thoughts rushing through my head as I just look at the black painted index finger and the ghost tattoo on the inside of his hand.

Who is he?

"Daddy? Who is that?" Sooin’s voice asks from behind me, and I turn around to tell her to stay back, but before I can turn back around to growl at the man...he’s gone.

Just...disappeared like a ghost.
