Blackout Ascension: Return of Primordial Heir
Chapter 100: Valkyros Brothers
The ruined eastern plains, the crushing despair aura, and the violent, agonizing death price of the Third Seal were completely forgotten.
Luna Zephyros stood completely frozen, petrified in his shimmering, silver astral form. His consciousness had been vehemently sucked through the colossal white doors, pulled perfectly into the oldest, most tightly guarded memory of the ancient monarch of the void.
The darkness of the Fallen Monarch’s mind was entirely gone. Luna found himself standing in a grand, magnificent, breathtaking hall. It was not a dark, terrifying abyss forged of suffering and malice. It was a chamber of strong, undeniable divine architecture, forged of perfectly polished white marble and veins of pure, liquid gold. Tall, elegant pillars reached vehemently toward a ceiling painted with vibrant, living constellations that shifted and danced in the celestial sky. The air smelled of fresh rain, blooming life, and purity.
It was a place of perfect divinity. Luna looked around in sheer, unadulterated shock. ’This was the legendary Void Era? This pristine, holy palace was the true origin of the ancient nightmares?’
The historical texts of the Solaris libraries had entirely lied. The ancient world was not a hellscape of monsters. It had been a realm of gods ruling in perfect, radiant light.
Before the Night Emperor could process the impossible scenery, the heavy, echoing sound of conversation drew his complete attention.
Sitting around a massive circular table carved from a single piece of ancient diamond in the center of the grand hall were six figures. They did not look like towering, obsidian-scaled monsters or shifting, liquid shadows. They looked remarkably human, though their ambient auras radiated a power that made the current Colosseum Champions look like mere children playing with fragile sparks.
Luna slowly walked forward, his astral boots making no sound on the polished marble. He was a ghost in a forgotten time, a silent observer watching the true history of the world violently unfold.
He looked entirely closely at the five figures sitting on one side of the massive table. They were arguing heatedly about guarding someone who was their family, and their voices filled with genuine, profound concern.
The first figure was a man with sharp, elegant features and wild, unkempt silver hair. His eyes were the color of a raging storm. Swirling, razor-sharp gales of highly compressed air actively lingered across his shoulders. Luna instantly recognized that he is the pinnacle of wind magic.
The ’Monarch of Wind’ and his name is Eren Valkyros. He possessed the same elemental affinity as Aeryth Dracortis, but the scale was entirely unimaginable. Eren breathed, and the atmospheric pressure of the entire hall shifted perfectly to his absolute will.
Sitting to Eren’s right was a man of profound, terrifying calm. He had long, flowing blue hair that seemed to perfectly ripple like the ocean tide. His aura was suffocatingly heavy, carrying the infinite, crushing pressure of the deepest sea trenches. This was Samael Valkyros, the ’Monarch of Water.’ His power absolutely dwarfed Catherine Sylphyros’ Absolute Zero. Samael can command the fundamental essence of the oceans.
Next to Samael sat a man who could not sit still. He had fierce, burning crimson hair and eyes that were literal, roaring vortexes of untamed inferno. The heat radiating from his skin was so powerful and intense that the diamond table beneath his forearms shimmered in a dull orange. This was Drake Valkyros, the ’Monarch of Fire.’ He was an erupting volcano contained perfectly inside a human vessel, a fiery royal whose mere presence made Ignis and Daemon look like dying embers.
To Drake’s right sat the most beautiful, pristine figure at the table. He wore elegant, flawless white robes, and his blonde hair completely caught the light like a physical halo. He radiated a perfectly obscuring, warm purity that aggressively fought back any trace of darkness in the room. This was Arlen Valkyros, the ’Monarch of Light.’ His holy aura was remarkably similar to the divine light Seyana possessed, thumping with undeniable healing power.
The fifth man was a towering mountain of a figure. He sat with his massive, thick arms crossed over his broad chest. His skin looked like polished granite, and his eyes were the deep, solid black of continental bedrock. This was Garen Valkyros, the ’Monarch of Earth.’ He resonated with the same deep, unbreakable vibration as Velanor, but Garen’s physical density felt as though he could casually bench-press the entire mortal continent.
Fire, Light, Earth, Wind, and Water. The five strongest pinnacles of elemental magic.
"The balance is shifting," Drake Valkyros stated vehemently, slamming a burning fist onto the diamond table. Sparks of wild fire exploded across the polished surface. "The mortal realms cannot handle the strain of the anomaly much longer. We have to intervene immediately."
"Patience, Drake," Arlen Valkyros replied softly, his warm, veiling light pulsing calmly. "If we act rashly, we risk tearing the fragile fabric of the world. We are sworn brothers. We must move with perfect unity."
Luna stared at them in an awe. They were not just a council of ancient gods. They were a family. They were sworn brothers, the guardians of the ancient era. Then, Luna slowly turned his head to look at the sixth figure sitting at the head of the diamond table again.
It was a tall handsome man with raven-black hair and eyes that resembled a calm, starry night. He wore elegant, immaculate dark robes. He did not radiate despair. He did not radiate suffocating void or ancient malice. He radiated a profound, quiet intellect and a deep, overarching, protective aura.
Luna knows the man was Fallen Monarch absolutely because of the magic that man has.
"We will not act rashly," the dark-haired man spoke, his smooth, melodic voice carrying the undeniable authority of an older brother leading his family. "We will protect her no matter what."
"You are right, Hades," Garen Valkyros rumbled, his bedrock voice echoing heavily. "But the dark forces are completely mobilizing. They are waiting in the shadows."
Luna’s astral breath violently caught in his throat. Hades. The ancient god of the void, the horrifying monster that had nearly slaughtered the Eastern Front, was not a demon born of darkness. His true name was Hades Valkyros, the ’Monarch of Dark.’ He was the eldest of the sworn brothers.
"The anomaly is not a simple magical fluctuation," Samael stated calmly, his blue eyes dead serious. "The dimensions are rejecting her presence because she does not belong to the mortal plane. The energy she radiates is attracting every single starving, malicious entity in the outer realms."
"Then we will eradicate the outer realms," Drake sneered vehemently, his internal core roaring.
"We are the Valkyros," Hades spoke again, raising an elegant hand to completely silence his fiery younger brother. "Our only duty is to maintain the world balance. But our first responsibility is our family."
Hades leaned forward, his starry eyes focused. "The anomaly started around Seyana Brianstone..." Hades stated profoundly. "Umm... rather than that we can say Seyana Valkyros. She is no longer just a mortal. She is a divine entity."
Luna’s astral form profoundly shuddered. Seyana?
The name echoed inside Luna’s fracturing mind like a massive, ringing bell. Seyana. The Crown Princess of Solaris. The girl who possessed the awakened divine light. The girl Kairos was in love with.
"Is our Seyana a reincarnation?" Luna thought profusely, his mind racing at insane speeds to connect the impossible dots.
"She is related by power to the divinity and gods," Arlen Valkyros confirmed softly, his holy light dimming slightly in genuine concern. "The divine entity resting inside her soul is a beacon. It is a pure, unadulterated drop of creation. That is exactly why the dark forces are trying to devour her. If an entity from the shadows consumes Seyana Valkyros, they will evade the natural laws. They will completely become an immortal god."
Luna stared at the brothers in sheer terror.
At present, the situation is the same in the South. Malgreth, the King of Demons, ignored the Colosseum Champions to march directly toward Seyana’s golden light. It was wholly about consuming Seyana.
"They will not touch her," Eren Valkyros hissed, the winds around him whipping into razor-sharp gales. "We will cast a protective barrier around the whole estate and an extra layer around her place."
"Barriers can be broken, Eren," Hades sighed heavily, rubbing his temples. The master of the mind looked profoundly, deeply tired. "The dark forces are devious. They will use illusions, they will use deception, and they will wait for a single moment of weakness."
"Then we eradicate the threat before it reaches her doors," Garen rumbled vehemently.
"We cannot be everywhere at once," Samael noted quietly, the heavy ocean pressure filling the silent pauses. "Seyana’s safety requires an absolute, impenetrable guard. Someone who can stand against the entire world if necessary."
Hades Valkyros slowly looked up, his dark, starry eyes filled with a profound, brotherly love.
"We do not need to guard her, brothers," Hades smiled softly, a confident grin crawling across his face. "Because she already has the strongest guard in existence."
"True," Drake laughed loudly, the roaring fire in his eyes settling into a warm, amused glow. "The dark forces are stupid if they think they can just walk up and take her from him."
Luna frowned in confusion. Him? Who was that the six monarchs talking about? Who could possibly be stronger than the monarchs of the Void Era?
They discuss her safety as if the threat is manageable, Luna observed silently, entirely captivated by the profound history playing out.
Suddenly, the mana in the grand hall harshly shifted. It was not a gradual change. It was a terrifyingly sudden spike in the physical atmospheric pressure. The polished white marble pillars groaned loudly. The liquid gold veins running through the floor actively reverberated.
The five elemental brothers instantly stopped laughing. Eren’s wind died down. Drake’s fire was suppressed. Arlen’s blinding light dimmed, forced to yield to a vastly superior, and absolute presence.
Even Hades Valkyros, the eldest and Monarch of Darkness, stiffened in his diamond chair.
"Speak of the devil," Drake muttered, wiping a sudden bead of sweat from his forehead.
BANG!!
The massive, heavy golden doors at the far end of the magnificent hall were expeditiously slammed wide open.
The sheer force of the doors hitting the marble walls sent a massive, physical shockwave tearing through the pristine room.
Luna spun around in his astral form, staring at the doorway in sheer shock. A figure walked slowly into the grand hall. He did not wear elegant, pristine robes like Arlen or Hades. He wore simple dark leather and iron greaves. A massive, heavily canvas-wrapped broadsword was strapped to his broad back.
He possessed thick, messy dark hair and sharp, silver eyes that burned with the unyielding weight of the Primordial Law.
Luna’s breath caught in his throat. He recognized the face. He recognized the heavy gravity of the boy’s presence.
It was Kairos Vedaryan.
Only, he was not Kairos Vedaryan. He was older. His shoulders were broad, his muscles packed with an absolute base strength that shattered the physical limits of reality.
"Sorry I’m late, brothers," the figure said.
His voice was calm, but it vibrated with a dual resonance so profoundly heavy that the entire ancient palace violently shook.
This was Kairos Valkyros. He was the strongest among the Monarchs. He was the dearest, most beloved little brother to the other six. Practically, he was the undisputed ’King of the World.’
Luna stared in utter shock. The mortal boy who swung a heavy iron sword in a dark basement in Solaris was the reincarnation of the strongest man of the ancient Void Era. The truth of the universe was laid bare, and the true tragedy of the Valkyros family was just beginning to unfold.
