Bound to the eldritch Sea: SSS-Tier Navigator
Chapter 27: Revenge Comes
On the other hand, Kevin, Luna, and Amelia were now fully geared up, giving them the breathing room to focus on looking decent.
Thanks to the 12x Reimbursement rate from the Covenant of the Saint, Kevin alone had more than a hundred sets of underwear and socks.
He had enough shampoo, body wash, antibiotics, and toilet paper to last the three of them for over six months.
With the supply stash so full, Kevin decided to stop holding back on the two girls.
He grabbed the walkie-talkie, called Luna back to the captain’s quarters, and the three of them started dividing up the loot.
Their voices from earlier had already drifted up to the bridge, so Luna knew exactly what the two of them had been up to.
Still, she didn’t show any jealousy. Instead, she shot them both a playful wink.
And once she was handed a fresh set of underwear and the newest hiking gear, she instantly felt like Amelia’s best friend.
Then, both girls peeled off the dirty clothes they’d been wearing for two straight days and headed into the bathroom together.
After washing up, they got dressed while whispering to each other.
As soon as they walked out in their fresh hiking gear, Kevin’s eyes locked onto them. He couldn’t help but take another look.
He had to admit, Luna was a natural model.
Knowing how to dress and style herself, she even helped Amelia put together a look that made her sparkle.
"Do we look good?" Amelia asked, nervously tugging at the hem of her jacket while watching him.
Luna, on the other hand, stood tall and confident, clearly enjoying every second of his attention.
"Oh, and I’ve got a spare set of gear here. Amelia, could you enchant Luna’s armor too?" Kevin handed three C-Tier pieces over to her.
After she cast Purify, a faint white glow lit up the gear on all three of them.
That glow pushed back the heavy Eldritch aura around them, making the whole room feel calm and peaceful.
Lastly, Kevin handed Luna the spare Glock 19. Both girls also got twenty Fireball rounds from him.
Looking at the two fully geared up, Kevin nodded with approval. "Not bad. With this setup, your combat power is officially top-tier among Survivors."
As a cop, Amelia knew exactly how much this gear would boost their firepower. She looked at Kevin with a soft, affectionate gaze. "Honey, you’ve loaded us up with ammo, but what about you?"
Kevin just smiled and pulled out his Wraith Revolver. "I’ve got this." 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The two girls immediately felt the heavy, eerie pressure radiating from the Wraith Revolver. Their eyes went wide. When they read the item details, they were genuinely speechless.
"Wow, this Eldritch Artifact is insane. If you kill six Entities with it, you could probably take on an entire ship of Survivors." Luna held her new Glock, her eyes hardening with resolve. "Amelia, can you teach me how to shoot? I want to fight alongside you guys too."
"Absolutely." Amelia agreed, still staring at the Wraith Revolver in awe. "If we’d had this yesterday, we wouldn’t have been fighting for our lives."
She looked up at Kevin, her expression steady. "From now on, I’m fighting right by your side."
Feeling their burning determination, Kevin just smiled and nodded. "Don’t worry. Tonight, you’re going to be plenty busy."
"Tonight?" The two girls said it at the exact same time. "Are the Eldritch Entities gonna attack again tonight?"
"Absolutely. In reality, every single night we have to face the threat of Eldritch Entities out on this cursed sea. Unless we can turn this ship into a fortress that can handle any Eldritch invasion, we’ve got to be ready to fight every night."
Hearing that, Luna and Amelia’s faces instantly grew serious.
Kevin smiled and patted both their shoulders. "Relax. Treat tonight like a drill. I’ll take point. You just follow my lead."
With that, he led the girls out the door and walked into the dining room.
Right now, Stephanie and Leo were sitting at a table in the dining room, forcing themselves to eat the meat from the Ocular Barnacles. Two days of straight hunger had killed their pickiness. Even if their Sanity was dropping by the bite, they didn’t care anymore.
Kevin led Luna and Amelia to a clean table and they took a seat. The fresh hiking gear on the three of them instantly caught Leo and Stephanie’s eyes.
"You guys actually have new clothes?" Stephanie stared at Kevin in total disbelief.
She stood up, walked right over to them, and held out her hands. "Captain," she whispered, "you took my bread and water this morning. Things were tight, so I played along. Now that the danger’s passed, could you spare me a little food?"
Kevin turned his head and shot a quick look at Leo.
Leo stared back with pure humiliation. He tried to speak, but no sound came out. He just struggled to move his lips, silently begging without making a noise.
Kevin pulled out two bottles of Holy Spring and set them on the table. "I don’t think I have to explain what Holy Spring does. The deal is simple: one bottle for a piece of bread and a ration of fresh water. You’re actually getting a good deal."
Stephanie didn’t argue at all. She immediately reached out, trying to grab both bottles at once.
But the moment she snatched the first bottle, Amelia slammed her pistol onto the table. "Take only what’s yours. Don’t touch anything else."
Slapped in public, Stephanie’s pride took a hit. She forced her face back into a neutral smile and looked at Kevin. "Captain, I’m willing to work for you. I’ll trade my labor for your protection and food. Deal?"
Kevin raised an eyebrow. He hadn’t expected Stephanie to suddenly get so smart about it.
Clearly, she’d been glued to the World Channel chat all day. She knew exactly who Kevin was—the guy who won the Centurion Slayer reward and is easily the strongest Survivor on board. That’s why she was being so cooperative now.
But Kevin already saw right through her shady personality. He just spoke calmly. "Fine. Since you’re offering, you’re on deck and cabin duty. In exchange, I’ll let you sleep on the bridge at night so you’re safe, and you can pick up one bottle of Holy Spring from me each day. With those vitamins you’re carrying, it should keep you from starving."
The second Kevin said the word "vitamins," Stephanie’s face turned awkward. Hearing that, Leo—who was sitting nearby—suddenly let out a feral roar.
He started flailing his arms like a maniac, wishing he could just tear them all apart. But his injuries were too bad. He couldn’t even get off his chair.
Seeing how much pain he was in, Amelia let out a sigh. She grabbed the Holy Spring and walked over to him, then poured it straight over his head.
It didn’t take long for the Holy Spring to work.
As the liquid soaked in, the swelling on Leo’s body went down and his wounds started to heal at a speed you could see with your own eyes.
By the time the last drop soaked through, he finally had enough strength to brace himself on the table and stand up.
He gave Kevin and Stephanie a dark look. "I’m not gonna thank you for this."
With that, he turned around, walked into the four-man sailor’s quarters, and locked the door behind him.
Inside the quarters, Leo’s face twisted into something increasingly crazy.
He immediately pulled up the World Chat. While Kevin and the others were still eating out on deck, he quietly typed in a secret password.
Almost right away, a private message came through.
"Young Master Leo? Is that you? It’s George."
Seeing the familiar name, Leo got really excited and typed back, "You guys made it to this damn place too. Where are you?"
He paused for a second, then sent back a long reply. "Sir, when our squad first dropped into this world, we got assigned to a different ship. The monster attack last night only left two of my guys hurt. Everyone else is completely fine. We also brought an armored vehicle and an attack helicopter down with us."
Leo read the message over and over, his face getting more and more pumped up.
This is perfect.
Kevin, Stephanie, you two damn bitches. I hope you both suffer a horrible death.
He immediately shot an order to George: "I’m on a single-mast sailboat right now. There are two guys and three girls on board. One of the guys is the one who unlocked the Centurion Slayer achievement last night. Do whatever it takes, just get to my location fast. I want those damn scumbags to wish they were dead."
George could feel Leo’s anger through the chat and replied instantly: "Understood."
Right after that, a trade offer popped up, and Leo accepted it right away.
Almost instantly, a small signal amplifier appeared in Leo’s hand.
"Young Master Leo, this amp will boost the signal from your locator. We’ll use the radar on our attack helicopter to keep tracking it and head straight to your waters."
"Anyone who crosses you, Young Master Leo, is dead."
