Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game
Chapter 766 - 398 Invaders Coming in the Moonlight
"Young Master, Miss Jane lives in the small room at the very end, she lives alone."
The housekeeper answered with his head down. He’s not a fool; of course, he knows what the young master wishes to do, which is why he arranged for a separate room beside hers.
"Give me the key."
Joshua Hughes said coldly. He wanted to see if she could endure after doing a servant’s work all day long.
More importantly, he was inexplicably enchanted, desiring her. For several days now, with year-end affairs being so many, plus it being inconvenient for her too, he hadn’t touched her for several days, as if every cell in his body was clamoring to possess her.
Only when he deeply possessed her would he feel that she belonged to him.
The housekeeper took a key out of his pocket; ever since the car drove into the courtyard, he had placed the key to Miss Jane’s room in his pocket. The young master’s actions are always unfathomable, except when it comes to Miss Jane.
Joshua’s tall, robust figure disappeared into the dark corridor. The night was deep, everyone had fallen into a deep slumber, while he, like a devil stepping out of moonlight, carrying a chilling aura, slowly walked towards the innermost room.
The moon was cold as water, the room smelled a bit musty, so Avery Jane had left a small window open before she went to sleep.
A faint silver moonlight streamed in through the small window. A small figure curled up on the bed; if it weren’t for her long black hair scattered outside, he could almost not feel that there was someone on the bed.
He gently brushed aside her long hair with his hand. Her long eyelashes covered a pair of clear eyes, as a small, elegant nose akin to bone china rested below slightly parted cherry lips.
The man’s breath was laden with a heavy scent of alcohol; he gazed drunkenly at the charming face in front of him, his slender fingers lightly caressing her creamy face.
"Wenyard, stop it, I want to sleep."
Her murmuring in her sleep ignited an inferno in Joshua Hughes’ chest, his sinister and wild black eyes giving off a frightening cold light.
His thin lips curved into a cruel arc; his large hand slowly moved down from her cheek to her sharp, fair chin, along her graceful neck, and abruptly yanked the blanket onto the floor.
Her slender body clad in a thin nightgown was fully exposed to his unfiltered, desire-filled gaze.
"Hmm, cold..." The sudden cold air made Avery Jane, still sound asleep, shiver and curl up tighter.
It felt like a dream; a pair of hot hands were wandering over her body, slowly moving down. Her breath was filled with that familiar musky scent, mingled with alcohol, and that masculine, dangerous, and aggressive aura slowly enveloped her.
In her slumber, Avery Jane was gently awakened, her water-like beautiful eyes suddenly opening wide.
Through the watery moonlight, she saw Joshua Hughes’ blood-red eyes hidden in the darkness, staring at her like a frenzied beast, as if about to tear her apart.
His robust body was looming over her, and she didn’t know when the tie of her pajama’s collar had been pulled open. His scorching breath sprayed onto her face, yet the air around them mercilessly invaded every pore of her body, making her feel like she was being tormented in a world of ice and fire.
"I’m very tired," Avery Jane murmured with difficulty, biting her lip softly.
Both his eyes and his body’s language declared what he intended to do.
But today she was really exhausted. Perhaps it was because she hadn’t done much lately, or maybe the cold water made her bones ache.
She truly didn’t have the extra energy to deal with his intrusion, and she needed to get up early for work again tomorrow.
The man in the darkness did not respond to her words. Was he drunk? The thick smell of alcohol emanated from him: "You’ll be even more tired in a while."
His large hands roamed over her body, savoring the exquisite texture brought by her supple, smooth skin.
Avery Jane listened to his low and husky voice, turned her head in despair, closed her eyes, hoping he would finish quickly and not torment her for too long.
Joshua Hughes watched her silent resistance and laughed softly, with a hint of mockery.
