Mater didn't need those three Rank-3 Chaos Singularities. But his servants did. The original three, Aurora, Crow, and Bash were still only Peak Rank-2 Beings. Mater was approaching his Rank-4 now. His servants couldn't be a lowly Rank-2.

The Illuminati absorbed the Zakharovs into their operation. The Zakharovs was barely scraping by. They still had a lot of wealth and influence under them but Mikael didn't have a lot of people he could trust.

That fact changed from that day. With the help of the Dark Syndicate and the Illuminati, Mikael rebuilt his financial empire. He was also slowly transitioning his power to Lucyna, who was now above him.

Lucy was Mater's direct servant. She was obviously favored compared to a Psycho Mark servant like Mikael.

Mikael and Lucyna also visited the Prison and saw the Steam Town in the Darkness Floor.

"This is..." The old Psychic widenened his eyes by how many Psychics there were.

The Psychics returned to their old lives but Mater also constructed a gateway in the AE Forges for them to return to the Prison if they wanted to.

Some stayed in the Steam Town permanently and only went out to the real world for jobs or personal businesses. The real world was too different from their lives in the Wilds and they didn't want to go back.

"There must be two hundreds Psychics here." Mikael mumbled.

"There are more. But they aren't stationed inside this place." Crow appeared behind them.

Lucyna noticed him. "You... You killed me back in the day."

"That's me. But you're family now, sister. The past is behind us." Crow said.

Lucyna nodded, "You're right."

Lucyna and Mikael got familiar to the Steam Town and the Underpark, their two main HQs of the Illuminati.

Selina continued to train her class for the upcoming mid-term. December was approaching and theair went cold.

A few days later, Lucyna asked for a meeting with Mater. She came to Selina's dorm room in the Institute.

Inside, Erin was in her cat form. She was being petted by Selina while Mater got jealous.

The black cat touched Selina's knees with its small paw.

"Me too! I want to be petted too!" The cat groaned.

"I petted you all day!" Selina said. "Give Erin a little bit!"

"I don't want it!" The black cat growled even louder.

Lucyna sweated silently. 'They surely are weird.'

"Well. What do you want to tell us?" Mater returned to his serious self.

"Mikael told me something about the celebrity industry that you may want to know."

Lucyna placed an ancient VHS tape on the table. No one had used this for years.

"This is?" Mater picked it up and examined it.

"A VHS tape. It was used to store videos in the past before DVDs and the internet were born."

"Wait a minute." Mater noticed a certain curse within the tape. His claw extended and he pulled it out. "Hypnosis?"

Lucyna nodded. "Mikael told me that the show business was in contact with demons and the demons taught them how to imbue their movies and songs with specific 'spells'. These spells woupd help them to spread their medias more, sell more products, and made people slaves to their contents."

"Yup. Those are the demons, alright. Why do you tell me this?" Mater said.

"It's better if you watch the tape yourself."

"How can we even watch this?" The black cat said.

"I have an idea." Selina said.

Ash did have a collection of old technology. She also had a VHS player that they could use. After what happened with her boyfriend, she joined the Dark Syndicate also and became a secretary there. Now no one would mess with her.

"Selina! Long time no see!"

"Can we borrow your VHS player?"

"Sure thing."

They went inside Ash's new home and played the tape.

"Umm. You may not want to see this, Ash." Lucyna said.

Ash looked over to Selina.

"It might be better that way." Selina said.

Ash nodded and left immediately. She trusted Selina.

The tape began to play.

"That is... Evelynn." Mater squinted his cat eyes.

The tape contaned a horrific ritual that was done on Evelynn's corpse to try and turn her into a wraith. The procedure wasn't a success and she became a Wraith Embryo instead of an actual Wraith.

Selina was furious. But her expression remained cold. She turned off the tape.

"Where did you get this?" Selina said.

"This is from the home of Walter Smith." Lucyna said.

"Well, shit. That man needs to die." The black cat growled.

Evelynn died on her own accord. That was for sure. But there was a reason why she became a Half-Wraith. Now they knew.

"Walter Smith might just be a pawn." Lucy said.

"Don't worry. Crow's Terror Break could find out everything we need to know." Selina said.

That day, Walter attended another red carpet Premiere. It was a new film that he starred and was projected to have huge success.

He actually knew how big it would get already but these ceremonies couldn't be skipped.

On the red carpet, he noticed a slender figure with blonde hair.

'Evelynn Monroe. I miss you.'

Walter wrappes a hand around the woman's waist. When she turned around, her face was that of Jean Mollison.

"Oh? Mr. Smith. Congratulations on the new movie!" The blonde woman said.

"It's nice to see you here, Miss Mollison."

Jean was a fraud. She only tried to be the late Evenlynn. She could never replaced her. But for some reason, Jean had become her.

Walter didn't mean this literally of course. But the way she walked, how she talked and carried herself recently, were identical to Evelynn. It was so similar that Walter sometimes thought Evelynn possessed Jean.

But he knew that she was just a copycat.

Still, a copy was still good. Even if she wasn't as beautiful as Evelynn.

"Come with me to my penthouse later tonight." It was a demand not a question.

Jean Mollison blushed and nodded.

'As expected.' Walter rarely got rejected. The only one was Evelynn.

They returned to their penthouse and Walter quickly got shower. When he returned outside, Jean was sitting at the large glass wall overlooking the city.

"How should we do this, baby?" Walter smiled.

Evelynn turned around. She pulled the Mimicry Mask down. Her true face was recealed.

"Why don't you tell me, Mr. Smith?"
