CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 388: More Wilds
"But why..." The students gathered in the Underpark. They stood in the large platofrm looking to the floating Selina and Mater in the air. "Why did they deem us traitors? We didn’t do anything wrong."
"There is a reason for that." The black cat’s deep voice echoed. "Let me show you the true face of the Union."
Mater’s Chaos reached out. A simple trick that every Chaos User may use. He showed them the possessed Sae Seto and her unusual fighting abilities. He left out the spicy part in the end, for obvious dignity reason.
The students murmured among themselves.
"This world is being split by many foreign forces." Selina’s voice echoed. "The hells, the gods. We aren’t living in a modern urban society anymore. Ghosts are real as everyone knows. So are demons and gods. They want our world to themselves."
"But why? Why would they want our world." Another student said.
"Because of Chaos." Mater held a Chaos Sphere in his hand. "Some may be unfamiliar with it. But Chaos is basically NES. It could break all the rules in the universe. The rules that we know so well of. Physics, chemistry, every single rule can be bypassed with Chaos. This is why Psychics have supernatural power. Because the NES, or more precisely, Chaos, allows you to."
"The Union. The government of our country is being run by a group of Gods. They would do anything to take over our world. They already got Valeria. So I am asking you." Selina said. "You have a choice.
To forget everything and return to your daily lives.
Or to fight for your freedom!"
"Fight! Fight! Fight!" The Illuminati members shouted. Some of them were even students of the Institute.
The ordinary students, however, were extremely surprised seeing some of their classmates so bloodthirsty.
"Who are you, Selina? Who’s backing you up?" A student asked an important question.
"I am just a citizen of this world. Born and raise. As for who’s backing me. You are looking at him."
The black cat stroked its whiskers proudly. "I am Mater Evol Heracy. In my past life, I was a Warlock, a different variation of the Chaos User. Think of me as a more versatile Psychic."
"Why should we join you?" Another student asked.
"Very simple." This time Aurora spoke up. "My name was Alice Rosenberg. I was killed by a powerful house of the Union. But Master resurrected me and cared for me. The difference between him and the others is that he cares for us.
He wants us to be strong on our own. Not being weak for the ease of ruling."
"Why does the Lutheria Accords exists?" Crow shouted. "Because they want to keep you out of the loop. They want to make sure we will never raise our own forces against them. Look at the Psychics on our side. Many of them were only ordinary people, but with us, they became powerful Psychics."
The small child in a red suit adjusted his mask, "The question is very simple. Do you want power to master your own fate? Or do you let fate decide for you?"
The remaining students of the Institute talked among each other. Each class still had their captain and Professors.
The Black Professor, Solomon Brooke, stood up.
"I’ll join you." Solomon said.
Even Selina was surprised. He always disliked her.
"Please, don’t give me that look. Between someone that tells you the truth and the other that lies to you. The choice is clear."
With Solomon as the first, others Professors and students followed.
Howard couldn’t help but shake his head. "Can’t believe my little class captain is an actual leader for a dark cult."
Almost all the students and Professors joined. Some decided to forget everything.
Rafina Brand raised her Psycho-Blade high, "I’ll follow you anywhere, Selina. If you can show me the higher path."
Professor Brand was a genius. But she stayed at Rank-2 for many years now. She was even lower in rank than Selina, a person that became a Psychic for less than two years.
"Don’t worry, Profess Brand. You will become more powerful. All of you would be. Do you know why? Because I will lead you to a higher realm!" Selina shouted.
Erin stayed in the eye of the Fey Ritual on the ground. She was channeling her connections with the Everlasting Wilds.
The Union was searching for them. The gods had many Rank-4 beings. The army had many powerful Psychics and in a much larger number than them.
They would lose if they continued like this. So Mater decided to return to the Everlasting Wilds to raise his power, his servant’s power, and his army’s power.
"Finally!" Some said. "I’ve been dying to visit Alira."
"That Fox Fae? You and her were together?"
"Eh. We’re in a more like on and off relationship."
"More fights! I want to bathe in my enemy blood again!"
The Professors and students were dumbfounded. They didn’t understand what was happening.
"Where are we going exactly?" Howard asked.
Another Illuminati member answered him, "To the Wilds of the Fae. One day here is 34 years in that place."
"What?!"
This time, Mater brought everyone. The mafias in the Dark Syndicate. The converted Red Keepers to Illuminati members. And of course, all the Psychics from before and the Professors and students of the Institute.
"Come with us, boys and girls! And I shall show you a new sky!" Mater laughed manically.
The Fey Scent covered the entire Underpark. Everything was transported to the Everlasting Wilds.
Everything and everyone except Mater and Selina.
"Huh? We aren’t going?" Selina said.
"I sent them to the Wilds. As for us, we’re going to look for your parents."
Aurora, Crow, and Bash were all Rank-3. They could manage the Dark Court. Telara was also there so Mater didn’t worry much.
"Come now. Crow has infiltrated in the Union a few days earlier and found where your parents went."
"Where are they?"
"They’re in the Restless Sea."
The Union took their time but they figured out where the Illuminati was. Their scanners showed a hidden structure right beneath the Central Park of Aeliz City.
However, when they rushed inside, there was nothing. No people and no object. The Illuminati had disappeared.
