"My wife..." Brooke Black suddenly repeated the words James Black just said, feeling goosebumps all over, "I know that, you don’t have to emphasize it so much. Your wife, I can’t steal her away."

Jane Sampson sat next to him, covering her mouth and laughing secretly.

James Black cleared his throat and responded with a hum.

When he spoke again, he did change the way he addressed Jane Sampson.

"Jane’s intention was not to expose Jillian Carter’s identity, but merely to get the Chip Family to pester Jillian, just to annoy her," James said.

"That’s true," Brooke Black nodded, "At the worst, we’ll still keep an eye on things."

Brooke Black said, "Leave this matter to me."

Brooke Black didn’t stay long after dinner. After sitting for a while, he drove back to Black Residence.

Jane Sampson took the chance while James was washing up to dash into the bedroom, heading straight for the cloakroom to retrieve the documents she had just hidden.

She took out a few blueprints from the documents and flipped through them one by one, the surprise in her eyes growing deeper and deeper.

If she hadn’t been trying to hold back, Jane Sampson almost wanted to take the blueprints and share them with James.

She was giggling to herself in the cloakroom with the blueprints, completely unaware of when James entered the bedroom, only realizing when he called for her.

In a hurry, she stuffed the blueprints back into the folder, shoved it into the drawer, and finally responded to James, bouncing out of the cloakroom.

"I’m here!" Jane Sampson hugged him from behind, sticking her head around to smile at him, "Did you think I was in the bathroom?"

"What were you doing hiding in the cloakroom just now?" James, reaching back to embrace Jane’s waist, turned his head to ask.

In his eyes, Jane Sampson’s cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were sparkling, clearly hiding something.

"Not telling you." Jane Sampson shook her head and moved in front of him.

"Jane Sampson," James called her by her full name, "Aren’t your secrets getting a bit too much lately?"

Jane Sampson laughed mischievously and nodded, responding, "Yes."

James reached out and tapped Jane Sampson’s head, "In need of a little discipline."

However, the words were playful, and his eyes were full of affection. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"Let’s go downstairs for a walk to help digestion," James suggested, ruffling Jane Sampson’s hair, "Take advantage of the weather before it gets cold, and get some exercise."

"No way," Jane Sampson refused without a second thought, letting go of James and running out of the bedroom, straight to the kitchen.

When she came out again, she had a cup of yogurt in her hand. Seeing James standing in the living room watching her, she waved the yogurt at him, "This is the correct way for a little fairy to help with digestion."

James’s mouth twitched, thinking about how he would drag her out for morning exercise tomorrow, but he decided not to force her out the door now.

Recently, Jane Sampson is on vacation, and Rock Bell hasn’t arranged new dramas for her, so she has a lot of free time, without needing to memorize scripts or learn skills.

She sat in the living room, eating yogurt and playing with her mobile phone, while James went to the study to read and pass the time.

While Jane Sampson was playing a game, she and Nina Rice, once again, climbed up the hot search list.

The reason was that a few nurses posted on twitter about Jane Sampson and Nina Rice helping Nia transfer hospitals.
