Digimon Bubble 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

Cam hid behind a wall as Claws of the Temple of Amon-Gorloth rushed by, wearing bloody, hooded robes.

She peeked off the wall’s edge, and her eyes landed on the brutal sight.

The Contestants had gathered hundreds of small Digimon, in the earliest stages of their Digivolution, on top of a massive altar. The altar itself was adorned with the skulls of thousands of different creatures from various Random Worlds, their hollow eye sockets still bearing signs of the merciless acts done upon them when they were alive.

Anger boiled up on Cam’s face, twisting her lips in disgust.

She grabbed the corner of the wall so tightly that her fingers dug into the bricks.

So what if she was a Chaos’ contestant? So what if she had lost half her humanity in doing Missions? So what if her past had led her to make questionable choices in the present? So what if the people of Multiverse might label her evil?

She knew who she was.

She knew the difference between right and wrong.

And as long as she still could tell them apart, Cam couldn’t let these bastards sacrifice innocent lives.

With a hiss, bright red lines shot off the altar, reaching the sky.

All the Digimon helplessly growled on the altar, surrounded by those lines, their intuition warning them of their doomed fate.

This was it, Cam knew, licking her dry lips.

If she couldn’t muster her courage to act as per her ideals now, then...

A strange Pokeball appeared in her right hand, her left hand already holding a Beyblade Launcher.

Cam fit the Pokeball onto the Beyblade Launcher and grabbed the string.

"Yo! Mademoiselle!" the voice came out of nowhere, spooking the living breath out of her. "That’s... some weird-ass Item you got there."

Brokenly, frame by frame, Cam looked to her left.

Leaning against the wall was a man with his eyes closed. He was wearing a long, red trench coat and had a head full of spiky blond hair, his eyes hidden behind amber sunglasses. He also wielded two long, silvery revolvers, presently crossed against his chest.

The man opened his eyes and stared at Cam with his blue-green eyes, smirking.

"..." Cam was utterly lost. "Who the fuck are you?"

The man’s mouth opened slightly before closing up again, astounded.

Suddenly, a hum overtook the surroundings, the entire ground trembling under their feet.

"Tch!" Cam tsked and snapped her head back into the game, stepping out from behind the wall with a large step. "3... 2... 1... Let it rip!"

All the Claws had already snapped their heads in her direction.

Before they could act, though, the Pokeball, rotating extremely fast, began glowing, a strange totem appearing on it... looking similar to an eagle.

Cry!

With a screech, a red burst of light left the Pokeball and took form.

It was a magical creature like no Pokemon, its wingspan easily covering hundreds of feet.

"Dranzer!" Cam shouted. "Use Spiral Survivor!"

The Pokemon-Bit Beast raised its beak, stretching out its massive wings, and let out a majestic cry.

Then, its entire body began glowing with bright red fire.

With one flap of its wing, the creature shot toward the altar and slammed right into the strange, red-colored boundary, imprisoning the Digimon.

With a CRACK, the entire altar shattered.

Most of the Claws were sent flying in all directions, a fiery storm radiating from Dranzer.

Seeing their chance, the Digimon made a run for it, attacking the red-robed Priests with hundreds of moves.

The massive Pokemon-Bit Beast planted its claws on the earth and pushed, reaching the sky with another flap of its wing before turning around.

With a grunt, Cam ran up the wall to reach the building’s roof and jumped, Dranzer diving to grab her with its claws.

They were about to run away as well when the whimper entered Cam’s ears.

Her head snapped toward the destroyed altar, her eyes landing on one Digimon who seemed to have broken its leg.

Most of the Claws were already injured and couldn’t even move.

Those who could move were trying to catch as many Digimon as they could.

So, when they saw an injured Digimon dragging its broken leg away from them, they lunged at it.

Cam looked away, and her eyes met Dranzer’s.

The Pokemon-Bit Beast seemed to be... smiling at her.

So, she smiled back, and her friend flapped not to run, but to turn around.

In only a few minutes, Cam learned how futile her planning had been since the very beginning.

Battered and bruised, covered in blood, she looked around as a dozen Contestants surrounded her.

Her Pokemon-Bit Beast had already disappeared after doing what it could, hoping that its master would call it out soon.

Cam... would never do that to her friend.

She looked down and stared at the injured Digimon who was latching onto her legs. "... Sorry."

The Priests attacked.

Cam clenched her jaw, raising her fists.

And then he was there, like an angel without wings.

"Come on, now..." the man with glasses said, looking at the Priests. "... I couldn’t even get to ask her out..."

What happened next was the greatest feat of marksmanship Cam had ever laid her eyes upon.

The man was like a typhoon, killing all the Contestants before she could even blink.

And, just like that, it was over.

It was over...

Cam’s knees gave out. "Haha..." she laughed, hugging the Digimon. "Hahaha!"

The man sat down on the bloody earth next to her as her tears drenched the Digimon’s face.

"Whoa... I just noticed..." he said, nudging his glasses. "You got massive boobs!"

ShineGreymon’s eyes shot open, a tiny breath escaping his mouth.

When he lifted his head, the first scene that entered his eyes was that of a metallic arm running through Red Sun’s chest.

He could still hear her... her laugh... her cry...

He could still feel the wetness of her happy tears...

He could... still see her lying dead in Red Sun’s arms...

ShineGreymon, half-dead, lacking all light and fire, stood up.

"Oi! Red Sun!" He shouted, his fury burning the entire town. "Have you forgotten her last words already, you bastard?! Because..."

Black fire... the blackest, darkest, and vilest of its kind... covered ShineGreymon, his eyes letting out a bloody glow.

"... Because I haven’t..."
