You have me here, trying to love my woman and here comes some bullshit young master that just had his ass handed to him, by the way, telling me to "get my filthy hands off her", it tends to get a bit(a lot) irritating.

What’s worse? This wasn’t even he first time this shit was happening..

I just got out of a whole bullshit scenario that had to do with something like this that involved Cara, now this? At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if the stupid author of this book found a way to force a marriage on Melissa or heck even Aunt V, just to piss me off.

So, it was with great irritation and bubbling annoyance, annoyance at the author of this shit scenario, annoyance at the delusional idiot I was about to face and annoyance that I’d gotten disturbed right as I was feeling up my lovely Melissa..

But.... Luckily for me, I wasn’t the only one that was done being irritated..

"Darius, you make one move out of place and I swear, I will make sure you do not leave this place on your two feet".

Instead of the annoying young master I was expecting, what I saw was..

"WOAH!!.... big.. you’re big.." that sounded weird coming from me didn’t it?

I mean I was already 7ft5 so what else could I mean by calling someone big?

Well, imagine my own surprise when I had to look up to get a proper look at the mountain of a man before me..

He had to be at least what? 8ft? 9ft? His height cast a shadow over me.

You heard that right, HIS FUCKING HEIGHT! CAST A FLIPPING SHADOW OVER ME!

I came face to face? With the large youth I’d noticed among the approaching group, he was the one to have shut down the pompous young master.

I knew he was large, but not this large.

Tanned skin, a buzz cut and an aura of sheer physicality I could feel it in my bones.

This wasn’t a man that dealt in flashy and fancy abilities, he was someone that dealt purely in physical dominance and I could feel my excitement peaking the moment I laid eyes on him..

I wanted..Needed to know.. in terms of raw physical prowess, who would win?

Yet before I could express my excitement..

"Orion, did you just threaten me?" My eyes turned from the large youth, landing on the black haired, good looking youth that had been posturing in front of Melissa earlier..

I raised an eyebrow, he looked familiar..

"Not a threat Darius, just a fair warning, that fool Eleanor already set things off, I am not in the mood for any more foolishness" the large youth, Orion, replied indifferently..

"Heh.. it seems you’ve forgotten just which one of us holds a position on the top ten heaven rankings huh?" The black haired youth sneered..

"I’m up for a rematch whenever you are"

"Enough! You two" a cold feminine voice stopped their bickering cold.

"We’re not here to fight, so stop acting like children and bringing shame to our divine order" the white haired beauty from earlier spoke up..

"No..No.. you can let them continue, I’m all up for more entertainment.." A smug voice came from my side as I turned to find Khalifa with something that looked eerily similar to popcorn and glasses, she seemed to have really gotten into watching them go at it..

"Where the hell did those even come from?" I couldn’t help asking..

"D.. don’t sweat the details.. here" a bag was passed toward me, I turned once more, there was Cara, also wearing glasses, a drink in hand as she passed a bag towards me..

"Why are you indulging her!?"

I’d completely forgotten the earlier nuisance already, now I was busy trying to understand how these two ladies had suddenly become equipped fully with movie gears..

"Ahem..." a soft cough stopped our bickering..

"Mel, mind introducing us?" The white haired beauty smiled, asking softly..

"Matter of fact, I do, just because I’m not tearing that bitch’s head off doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten, the rest should leave, Mira, you can stay" Melissa’s cold reply made the face of the black haired youth turn cold..

"Melissandre, what is the meaning of this?" He asked, rage evident in his voice..

"I don’t believe I owe you any explanations for my actions, now will you leave willingly or shall we continue from where we left off?" The temperature immediately spiked the moment she concluded her words..

The black haired youth glared at me, hate clear in his eyes.. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

"I am fine with that, as it would seem this young man is already accounted for" the large youth’s voice broke the tense silence.

He walked up to, extending a hand in greeting..

I looked at the outstretched hand, took a long hard look at the young man, then shook it, hard!

BOOM!!

An audible boom sounded out as we clasped hands, a silent contest of strength ensuing between us..

"Oh!" The youth exclaimed softly as he finally released his grip..

"I am Orion Packs.. Member of the Divine Orde faction" he introduced himself..

Not one to hit a smiling face, especially when that face had no ill intent, I replied easily..

"You can call me Dante Draven, I’m the main character".

Everyone looked at me as if waiting for more, they were getting nothing out of me..

"That’s it?" The large youth asked..

"Yup, that’s about it"

"Ha..hahahahahaha....." he laughed, loud, wild...

"Hahahahahahaha.." I joined him, why we were laughing, I had zero ideas, but it felt good nevertheless..

"You’re an interesting one, I look forward to seeing more of you around" after laughing his guts out, Orion wiped his tears as he addressed me..

"Don’t worry, you’ll be seeing me a lot, after all, there’s something we need to talk about, man to man."

"Heh... I’ll be waiting for you then" saying so, he turned around and walked away, leaving the rest behind..

"Well, what are the rest of you waiting for?" Melissa’s pointed gaze landed on the rest of the group...

The black haired youth gritted his teeth so hard they almost cracked, his veins were popping, if looks could kill, I was sure I’d have died one hundred times over..

The look irritated me to no ends, so, just to spite him more, I wrapped my arms around Melissa’s slim waist and before she could react, my lips had already sealed hers in a passionate kiss that had her melting in my arms..

"BASTARD!!!!!" The black haired youth roared as he got ready to attack..

"STOP!"

That is until a cold and indifferent voice halted him in his place..

I broke the kiss soon after as my smug gaze landed on him, arms possessively wrapped around a swooning Melissa.

Valen’s cold voice soon put out the raging fires..

"If you children are done hijacking my ceremony, then I’d like to get this over with, I do not have all day to watch kids squabble, save it for the academy"..

"Nice.. way to go old man.. put an end to this author’s nonsense" I couldn’t help cheering silently...

The black haired youth, what’s-his-name, could only stare like an enraged dog, his expression promising violence..

He turned, leaving in a rather raging huff.

The elf that had started all this, merely threw a threatening glare at me before she herself retreated, clearly too scared of Melissa to try anything else.

None of them bothered to pick up their fallen comrade..

Soon enough, the entire ceremony resumed, as challengers stepped up, but that had nothing to do with us anymore, as we were now left with only our group of five and the white haired beauty..

"So, Mel, care to introduce me now? Or should I wait for you to calm down" the white haired beauty suddenly disregarded all her poise from earlier as she teased softly..

"Ahem.. no need for that.." Melissa coughed lightly as she stepped out of my embrace..

"D.. this is Mira Elowyn, Heiress of the Elowyn Ancient family, or better yet, you can just address her as aunt Clarissa’s niece"..

"Hi there.. nice to finally meet you, my aunt hasn’t let me hear a word since she returned and I must say, she really wasn’t exaggerating in the slightest"..

"I’m Mira, you can call me MIMI"
