With everything settled, Lin Xuan Qi waited for Lee He Song to go change his clothes first before they went to the dining hall together.

He took his usual seat between Xue Cong and Yue Jie, and glanced at the dishes that were on the table.

It was sumptuous as usual, but he felt that maybe it was time for a hotpot with the weather getting colder by the day.

A hotpot meal should be able to get everyone warmed up and let them experience something different.

The last time they had something different was the barbecue they had a long time ago.

"The dishes aren’t to your liking? I will ask Auntie Sue to make something new if you aren’t satisfied with it." Xue Cong asked when she saw him looking at them.

Lin Xuan Qi shook his head at her and said, "It’s fine. I was just thinking about having hotpot, the weather is perfect for it."

"Hotpot? What is that?" Yue Xin sat up straight and asked when she heard him.

It was something that she had never heard before and she figured it must have been something that was very delicious.

Lin Xuan Qi’s record was spectacular enough for her to anticipate it.

Yue Jie was also curious and she glanced at Lin Xuan Qi.

She still recalled how the meat skewers tasted when they had the barbecue.

Even Zhi Yong was excited about the hotpot.

He thumped his chest and volunteered, "Master, me help with hotpot."

Lin Xuan Qi nodded at him, gave him a smile and said, "Sure, I will let you help when the time comes.

"But for now, let’s finish what we have first.

"The hotpot isn’t something fanciful but it’s going to be something different and delicious for all of you."

Yue Xin frowned at his non-answer but she could only wait.

Just like how she had waited for so long to be with him.

Lee He Song picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks, chuckled and said to her, "I’m sure the wait itself makes the food nicer."

Hope it’s the same with getting married, Yue Xin nodded her head and thought to herself silently.

Lin Xuan Qi enjoyed the meal with Xue Cong and the others, and he treasured the ability to have a meal with everyone.

It was especially so after what had happened earlier.

The peace and stability in the Da Qian Dynasty was just a facade and he had to work around it.

Dinner went by peacefully and he didn’t waste any time for the night.

Lin Xuan Qi with Zhi Yong and Lee He Song went to the lab to continue with their cultivation.

He was more or less done with the Five-Element Fist Technique and he wanted to let Zhi Yong and Lee He Song be proficient with it.

When he barged forward with his shoulder covered in rocks, a loud boom ensued rattling the items inside the lab.

Lee He Song tried to remember every little detail of the move he had made.

Zhi Yong had his eyes opened wide and he couldn’t believe how it was possible with the so called Five-Element Qi he was practicing.

"Let me try it." Lee He Song volunteered to go first and he started with the routine that Lin Xuan Qi had taught.

He didn’t disappoint and he was able to perform the routine perfectly.

"Well done, Master Lee." Lin Xuan Qi was impressed with how fast Lee He Song could pick it up.

Maybe being a martial arts fighter previously gave Lee He Song some advantage, he thought.

"Me next." Zhi Yong couldn’t wait and he went next.

He frowned and tried very hard to recall the instructions Lin Xuan Qi had given earlier.

And when he got everything back into his mind, he started with the straight fist.

When he swung his other arm downwards with a chop, his whole arm was covered in metal. A blow with his arm at the enemy would cause a huge amount of damage if they were hit.

Zhi Yong gave out a roar and took a step forward, charging with his shoulder.

Lin Xuan Qi and Lee He Song were surprised when they saw half of his body being covered in rock.

Zhi Yong’s last stance made him steady like a boulder.

Lin Xuan Qi was pleasantly surprised with how good Zhi Yong was with the Five-Element Fist Technique and thought that Zhi Yong must have been a genius at it.

"Sorry, Master Lin. Me use too much strength." Zhi Yong scratched the back of his head when he saw the ground of the lab being destroyed by his step forward.

"It’s fine, I will get someone to fix it tomorrow."

Lin Xuan Qi came up to him and patted him on his back and said, "I think this Five-Element Fist Technique suits you very well, make sure to continue practicing it.

"I must say that you’ve far exceeded my expectations."

When Zhi Yong heard it, he was happy to be praised by Lin Xuan Qi.

He lifted his head up high and said, "Me will practice everyday."

Lee He Song was also surprised with how well Zhi Yong did and he chuckled, "I will have to ask you about the Five-Element Fist Technique whenever I have doubts."

Zhi Yong wasn’t used to the attention and he gave Lee He Song a sheepish smile.

Lin Xuan Qi shook his head at Lee He Song and said, "Don’t worry, Master Lee. There are other things that might suit you better like the Five-Element Sword Technique."
