"She is a merchant in Gui Feng City. I’m sure that she could help you with getting through the bureaucracy." Lee He Song said and gave out a chuckle.

"I shall let you know when to contact her." Lin Xuan Qi said and Lee He Song nodded his head at him.

With that settled, Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi also came back to the dining hall at the same time.

Yue Xin glanced at him while Liu Shi Shi gave him a side-eye.

Lin Xuan Qi wasn’t sure what they were thinking but he cupped his hands at Madam Sai and said, "Thanks for all the arrangements, Madam Sai."

"I didn’t do much. It’s my duty after all." Madam Sai waved her handkerchief at him and said.

He glanced at Xiu and Xiu came up to Madam Sai with some copper coins.

"There’s no need for this..." Madam Sai tried to refuse it customarily and Xiu kept pushing the copper coins at her.

When Madam Sai felt that it was enough, she gave out a sigh and said, "Well, if you insist...

"I shall be back on the wedding day."

She kept the copper coins and bid farewell to everyone afterwards.

Lin Xuan Qi finished the breakfast and he left the mansion for the factories a few moments later.

He wanted to check on the supervisors of the factories to see if they were interested in a change of role.

First, he came over to the factory in the east and the supervisor, who was one of the earliest to have joined, was glad to see him again.

"Master Lin." The supervisor gestured with his hand at the production line and said, "Everything is going well so far and we should be able to hit the production target for the month."

"That’s great, but I’m here for something else." Lin Xuan Qi gave him a nod and replied.

The supervisor thought that he might have messed up somewhere and said, "Master Lin, I will get the men to work harder and amend for their mistakes.

"And if it’s my wrongdoings, I will accept the responsibility."

Lin Xuan Qi shook his head and snorted at the supervisor.

He patted his hand on the supervisor’s back and told the supervisor the purpose of his visit, "I’m here to discuss a change of role with you.

"It has nothing to do with any mistakes you made, you are doing fine which is why I’m here to ask."

That gave the supervisor relief and he asked, "Change of role?"

"Yes, I will be expanding the business to other cities soon and I need someone to front it for me."

The supervisor lowered his head and pondered on the implications.

It was a promotion more than a change of role.

But it would mean that he would have to leave the factory and try out something different in other cities.

His family was here and he was already used to the work in the factory.

Lin Xuan Qi had given him a new life with it but he wasn’t someone ambitious like Lin Xuan Qi.

He was fine with being just a supervisor in the factory.

The supervisor cupped his hands and bowed at Lin Xuan Qi, "I’m so sorry, Master Lin.

"Being here and striving for the best in the factory is enough for me."

He held his breath while he waited for Lin Xuan Qi’s reply.

Lin Xuan Qi helped him stand upright again and said, "It’s fine if you prefer to stay here."

He wasn’t someone to force his men and servants to do things they didn’t want.

If they refused then so be it.

He believed in having more efficiency and effectiveness with the right man on the job.

Lin Xuan Qi left the factory for the other factories and the other supervisors for the factories weren’t interested too.

There was the original factory in the south left.

"Change of role? I am interested but I would need to hand over my responsibilities here first." Bai Xun, the supervisor in the south, was interested but he wanted to make sure that there was a smooth transition first.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head at Bai Xun’s answer and said, "Who do you think can take over your role as supervisor?"

"Cao is a suitable candidate.

"He might not agree with all my decisions but he does what he is told and has surpassed my expectations many times.

"The other workers also respect him for his discipline and hard work."

"I will take him into consideration." Lin Xuan Qi said and thought that he would check on Cao with the system’s summary at night, to see if Cao was worthy of the job as supervisor of the factory.

Bai Xun was glad to see Lin Xuan Qi take his recommendation.

And he was also excited for what the new role would entail.

"What do I have to do for the new role?"

"I am looking to expand the business into other cities and I need you as my front man, helping me set things up." Lin Xuan Qi replied.

"That’s great. I worked with some of the merchants before I was forced to..." Bai Xun said and lowered his head.

Lin Xuan Qi knew their past and he wasn’t too bothered with it.

"Do you know Gui Feng City? I plan to start in Gui Feng City."

Bai Xun got even more excited and said, "I know a thing or two about Gui Feng City, used to follow the merchants there to trade."

"That’s good." Lin Xuan Qi said and patted Bai Xun’s back, "I shall let you know when to start handing over to Cao.

"And for now, make preparations to travel out for a long period of time."

"Yes, Master Lin." Bai Xun cupped his hands and bowed at Lin Xuan Qi.

Things had gone relatively well for the day and the productions were running smoothly.

The orders for Bian Jing would be fulfilled within two weeks and Lin Xuan Qi couldn’t wait for Huo Fei Li’s security escort team and Lu Ting’s Nascent Soul Ascension Pills to arrive.
