Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off
Chapter 611: No One Will Bully You Again
An Mo looked at Xuan Long’s expression from a distance and suddenly smiled sheepishly. He scratched the back of his head as if feeling slightly guilty. It seemed he had really arrived too late this time.
Looking at the murderous look in Xuan Long’s eyes, he could already tell that the snake beastman was furious beyond words. If looks could kill, An Mo felt that he would have been beaten up first before Teng Clan.
Still, An Mo only flashed a smug grin.
Xuan Long immediately returned him a cold glare.
The meaning was obvious.
You came too late.
An Mo coughed lightly and decided not to provoke him further.
The next second, his figure disappeared.
Teng Siyan was still standing proudly while holding Xiao San in his arms when a chill suddenly ran down his spine. Before he could react, a breeze swept past him.
His hand instantly became empty.
Teng Siyan froze. The little cub who had been in his arms a moment ago had completely disappeared. His eyes widened.
Meanwhile, several meters away, An Mo had already appeared with Xiao San safely in his arms.
The little cub looked stunned for a moment. His small hands immediately grabbed An Mo’s sleeve tightly as if he had finally found a safe place. His green eyes were still swollen from crying, and his lips were pouted so pitifully that it looked like he would burst into tears again at any moment.
Seeing that appearance, An Mo’s heart softened. He gently rubbed the cub’s messy hair before wiping away the dried tear stains on his cheeks.
"Xiao San," he said with a smile, "look, your handsome uncle is here."
The little cub blinked.
"No one will bully you anymore."
Xiao San’s eyes instantly turned red again.
For the entire day he had been frightened, restrained, and forced to watch his fathers suffer. He had tried to be brave, but he was still only a cub.
The moment he saw someone he trusted, all his grievances surged out.
"Uncle..."
His voice trembled.
"Save Father..."
The little cub pointed toward Xuan Long with teary eyes.
An Mo immediately ruffled his hair again. "That’s why I came." His smile slowly faded.
A dangerous glint appeared in his eyes as he looked directly at Teng Siyan.
"As long as I’m alive, who would dare touch your father?"
His voice was calm. But everyone present understood those words were not meant for Xiao San. They were directed straight at Teng Siyan.
Teng Siyan’s face immediately darkened. His gaze fell on his empty hand. Even now, he still had not figured out how An Mo had moved.
He had not sensed it. The cub had simply vanished from his grasp. That realization made his heart sink. Just how strong was this man?
Unfortunately for him, he did not have time to think. The moment Xiao San was safely rescued, Xuan Long moved.
Boom!
A terrifying fist shot forward.
Teng Siyan was still distracted by An Mo’s appearance and completely failed to guard against the attack. The punch landed directly on his face.
Crack!
Teng Siyan felt his vision explode. His head snapped sideways. Several teeth flew out together with blood.
The force behind the punch was so terrifying that he stumbled dozens of steps backward before barely stabilizing himself.
The entire area fell into a stunned silence.
For a brief moment, nobody moved. The only thing that could be heard was the faint sound of rubble falling from the damaged houses around them.
Every pair of eyes was fixed on the battlefield.
Teng Siyan slowly lifted his head. Half of his face had already swollen from the blow, and a streak of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
The pain twisted his features into something ugly, and the disbelief in his eyes quickly transformed into uncontrollable fury. He touched his bleeding lip before staring at the man standing across from him, his expression becoming increasingly distorted.
"Xuan Long!"
His enraged roar exploded through the surroundings like thunder.
"Are you looking for death?!"
Across from him, Xuan Long stood motionless, his broad chest rising and falling heavily with each breath.
The emerald eyes that had once been calm and cold were now completely bloodshot, overflowing with a terrifying ferocity that sent chills through everyone present.
Around his neck, the Beast Suppression Lock glowed with increasingly violent scarlet runes. The symbols flashed frantically, one after another, as though trying desperately to restrain the beast within him.
Every glow of crimson light represented unbearable agony surging through his body. The lock tightened repeatedly, digging into his flesh and forcing waves of pain through every muscle and bone.
Yet Xuan Long acted as though he could not feel any of it.
Or perhaps the pain no longer mattered.
His eyes remained locked on a single person.
Teng Siyan.
The rest of the world seemed to disappear from his sight.
"Teng Siyan."
His voice emerged low and hoarse, carrying a chilling calmness that felt far more frightening than a roar.
"It seems your time has come."
The moment those words left his mouth, he moved.
Boom!
The ground beneath his feet shattered instantly. Cracks spread in all directions as his body shot forward like a released arrow.
Teng Siyan’s expression changed dramatically.
His eyes flickered toward the Beast Suppression Lock, and a trace of disbelief flashed through them. He could see it clearly. The lock was still functioning.
The runes were flashing so rapidly they almost merged into a solid crimson glow, and the chains continued tightening around Xuan Long’s neck again and again.
It was working.
It was suppressing him.
It was inflicting unimaginable pain.
Yet Xuan Long continued charging forward. It was as though the pain did not exist.
Or perhaps he had already surpassed the point where pain could stop him.
A cold sensation crawled up Teng Siyan’s spine. For the first time since arriving, genuine fear appeared in his heart. This nephew of his had become a monster.
A monster driven purely by rage.
Their fists collided an instant later.
Bang!
The resulting shockwave erupted outward with tremendous force, shattering nearby walls and sending debris flying through the air.
Several Teng Clan members were forced backward by the pressure alone, their faces pale as they hurriedly retreated from the battlefield.
Teng Siyan no longer dared to underestimate him.
A powerful serpent aura exploded from his body as he finally unleashed his full strength. Dark green energy surged around him while he counterattacked fiercely, meeting Xuan Long head-on.
