Lucien laid comfortably on his bed later that night, one arm resting beneath his head while a satisfied smile slowly formed on his lips.

The room was dark and silent except for the faint moonlight entering through the window. His mind replayed everything that had happened since the academy examination, the beasts, the fallen angel, Dahlia, and the overwhelming changes that had suddenly entered his life.

A glowing blue screen appeared within his mind, Lucien’s eyes immediately sharpened as countless details filled his vision.

Lucien smirked faintly while continuing to scroll through the status screen mentally. The list of acquired abilities was enormous now.

Then his eyes landed on another section *Unlocked: SYSTEM SHOP.* Lucien immediately became interested.

"Oh?" A massive list of skills, artifacts, bloodlines, weapons, and magical abilities instantly appeared before him. Some looked ordinary while others felt absurdly overpowered just from their names alone.

Absolute Regeneration—60000 unlimited.

Soul Resonance Dominion—This is the max level of what you can acquire when you bond, this one you get not only her skill but all her knowledge, all her skills and abilities while she gains a weaker version of what you can do, this will cause them to rank up faster.

Even Lucien couldn’t hide his surprise. "These are ridiculous..." But when he checked their prices. His expression instantly darkened. "What kind of scam is this?"

Even with over 400000 EXP, many of the strongest abilities were still completely unaffordable. Some required a little above 40000, some hundreds of millions while others required billions.

His eyes eventually landed on the seductive and manipulative abilities he had acquired earlier. Every single one of them had already reached Level 8—the maximum level. "Maxed already..." he muttered softly.

Yet despite how strong they were, the system still displayed higher-tier versions available in the shop. The problem, the prices were absurd.

Lucien sighed before eventually purchasing several cheaper abilities instead. They were powerful enough for ordinary enemies, though probably useless against higher-ranked beings like Dahlia or the fallen angel, and ranking his lecherous skills all to level 5, so they can have effect on even celestial priests, but not one higher than that.

Lucien slowly closed the system screen afterward while staring quietly at the ceiling. Then his expression gradually became thoughtful again.

The Dominion Academy and Dahlia’s proposal, the more he thought about it, the more he realized something dangerous, the priests of the Holy Academy would eventually discover the truth.

No matter how carefully he hid it, someone would eventually realize he wasn’t truly a complete priest... or perhaps not even one at all. Lucien slowly exhaled before finally making his decision.

"System," he muttered quietly. "Contact Dahlia." he then wore his clothes and then, several seconds later, dark mana slowly gathered inside his room before forming a small crimson magic circle in the air. Dahlia’s figure gradually appeared from within it, her long pink hair cascading behind her elegantly.

Her cold blue eyes immediately landed on him. "You decided already?" she asked calmly.

Lucien nodded once. "I have reconsidered, so I’ll join your faction."

For the first time, Dahlia smiled properly. "A wise decision."

Lucien crossed his arms lightly. "I thought about it carefully. If I stay in the Holy Academy too long, the priests might eventually discover what I truly am."

Dahlia gave a small nod. "They would."

Then she extended her hand toward him. "Come with me."

The moment Lucien grabbed her hand, the world around them distorted instantly. Dark mana swallowed his vision before space twisted violently around them.

Several seconds later, they appeared inside a dimly lit room. Lucien’s eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness while Dahlia casually walked forward and snapped her fingers. Black candles along the walls ignited instantly, illuminating the room with crimson light.

The room itself was enormous, a long obsidian table stretched through the center while elegant banners carrying the Dominion Academy crest hung from the walls. The atmosphere carried authority, power, and overwhelming pressure.

Lucien looked around curiously, Dahlia noticed immediately. "This is the Student Sovereign Chamber," she explained calmly. "The place where the highest-ranking student leaders of the Dominion Academy gather."

Lucien raised an eyebrow slightly. "So basically the student council?"

Dahlia smirked faintly. "A far more dangerous version."

Lucien slowly nodded while continuing to observe the chamber. Every seat around the table radiated powerful mana signatures, proving that the students who ruled this place were monsters far beyond ordinary academy students.

Then, he sensed another presence, at the far end of the chamber stood a figure facing away from them quietly. The moment Lucien’s eyes landed on her, he froze slightly.

Even from behind, she looked majestic, she wore the Dominion Academy uniform, a mixture of black, crimson, and white that perfectly matched her elegant figure.

Her short skirt revealed smooth pale legs while her snow-white hair flowed beautifully down her back, shining beneath the candlelight almost identically to Lucien’s own hair color.

For a brief second, Lucien genuinely thought she looked almost angelic, which made no sense, how could someone this pure-looking belong to the Dominion side?

Then she slowly turned around, lucien’s breath paused slightly, she was outstandingly beautiful, or rather majestic.

Her face looked unreal, carrying a calm elegance that surpassed ordinary beauty completely. Yet what caught his attention most was the white blindfold covering her eyes delicately.

She was blind, Lucien stared silently for several seconds. How can someone this beautiful be blind...?

Before he could think further, the girl suddenly tilted her head slightly toward him despite the blindfold covering her eyes completely. "Hello, Lucien."

Her voice was calm and soft, yet strangely commanding. "I am Nyx," she introduced gracefully. "The blind daughter of the great Lucifer."

Lucien’s eyes widened slightly, so this was her, Lucifer’s daughter. Nyx smiled faintly while facing him perfectly despite her blindness.

Lucien immediately became confused again, how does she even know exactly where I’m standing? Then he remembered who she was.

Someone powerful enough probably didn’t need normal sight anymore, Nyx slowly placed one hand against the obsidian table while speaking again.

"I have been waiting for you, Lucien Vilor." Her covered eyes faced him directly once more. "A human carrying both light and darkness within the same soul... is far more interesting than you realize."

"Okay...if I may ask, why do you seek a faction when you are very powerful?" He questioned in curiosity, because why would a daughter of Lucifer want a crew, isn’t her father and the other devils by their side not enough.

"Because my father is dead, and the fallen angels took my last family, my mother, Geraldine and I will get her back."
