Chapter 64: 064 | StarWalker’s Retribution

John was explaining the events that occurred after kidnapping to Aryan, seated with his head hung low. While Jai was busy looking at list of possible new recruits that could boost his channel more.

An unexpected knock brought everyone’s attention.

"Who?" Jai asked.

"Recruit," answered StarWalker.

"Did you call anyone?" Jai looked at John and asked. John responded negatively.

"Check who is it and send him away," Jai ordered.

However, the moment John opened the gate, he was knocked back, slamming into the wall, he couldn’t even see the attacker.

Jai instincts as a S-rank hunter warned him immediately as he extended his hands towards his spear. While Aryan remained frozen in his seat, only seeing a blur attacking everyone.

He had just extended his hand towards the spear when StarWalker appear in front of him with a katana manifesting in his hand, way faster than Jai’s expectation.

His eyes widened at the speed at which he was attacked. He could only watch as young man in a magnificent mask pushed katana through his chest.

Jai accepted his death at that moment, ’So I’m going to die at the hand of some unknown attacker.’

However, the next moment he found himself pinned to the wall behind him. He could feel cold steel inches away from his beating heart. Every beat his heart made, Jai felt he was at hair breadth from death.

"Hello, Guildmaster Jai, I heard you were looking for someone." StarWalker asked in a formal tone.

At this moment, Jai’s only thought was either John or Aryan run out of the room and bring reinforcement.

However, Reyansh was way ahead of him. He let his mental energy go wild, instead of controlling it like a scalpel, he used it like a sledge hammer, pressing the bodies of John and Aryan, making them difficult to move.

He then put his hands in his pockets, "Sorry, guys, I had mentioned Hands-free in title but Jai here is Guildmaster so he needed extra care." He spoke as he used Telekinesis to push John and Aryan against the wall.

At the same moment, he put Sonus Block from his inventory in center of the room, to prevent any sound from leaking outside.

John struggled with his full strength but he was a mere B-rank hunter, he couldn’t even move a muscle properly. Aryan only watched everything with horror etched in his eyes.

With his hands in pocket, he mentally made a diagonal slash on John’s chest. Using telekinesis with his blood control, he pinned John and Aryan through their shoulders by blood nails, bringing them at the level of Jai.

Within a minute while StarWalker did this, Jai’s face was drained of color. He was in a situation where he could only watch, if he moved a little, the blade will cut into his heart.

"Why...why are you doing this?" Jai gathered enough strength to ask.

"Shh..." StarWalker signaled, "don’t push yourself too much Guildmaster. If you do, you will die. I am your well-wisher, I want to prolong your life. Wait for my question."

Reyansh now stood facing all three of them pinned at same level, one of his camera showed him while other those three.

"Now let’s start the retribution. Thank you for waiting guys. Now, I will introduce the guest of the day, Jai Rajput, S-rank, Guildmaster of Victory guild."

"At the other end we have his son, who couldn’t even scream when in danger, saying he is a waste is disrespect to the waste."

This time Reyansh didn’t reply, he watched him like a tiger stalking the deer for a second. Then suddenly, John head came flying off, his body still pinned to the wall.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!" finally a scream came from Aryan’s throat.

"I mentioned once to not disturb and this pussy finally screams." Reyansh spoke, there was no change in his body language, like he didn’t just behead a man.

"Hey twerp, if you want that the next head that rolls is yours, keep screaming." He added.

As loud Aryan had screamed, he became silence immediately, for a moment, it looked like, he hadn’t screamed at all.

"As I was talking, their sin was laying hands on someone close to me. I had just shared in morning that I have a friend and his family is my family."

"I will answer, ask," Jai answered, his breathing ragged.

"Oh, wait a moment, I see, you have no benefit in answering." Reyansh spoke thoughtfully.

"Okay, how about this, we play a game. I will ask you two questions, you will answer them and in return you can ask me one question." He proposed a game, while Jai was pinned between life and death.

"There are rules too, you can’t lie to me. Believe me I will know, so every lie will be punished. And if I lie, well I can lie what can you do about it. So are the terms fair Guildmaster?" he asked.
