Counterfeit Hero
Chapter 1100 - 121: Rendezvous (17)
In the void, the sound of ion weapons clashing couldn't be heard.
Several Mechas fought silently, like warriors in an old silent film from ancient Earth.
Kohen's offensive was dismantled in an instant. The green Mechas attacking from all sides moved so swiftly it made his heart race. This was undoubtedly the most terrifying Mechanical Warrior he had ever encountered in his life. And he wasn't just facing one... but ten! Not far away, Brid was already completely stuck in a predicament. He was trying to escape through the gaps among the encircling Mechas.
A dagger, with a vicious angle, stabbed towards Kohen's abdomen.
Kohen pressed down with his light saber, blocking the dagger's attack. Then, his auxiliary thruster burst into brilliant light, and the Mecha surged upward, evading the entanglement of three more ion daggers.
However, before he could catch his breath, four green Mechas swooped in like phantoms. They were incredibly fast. The Judger had barely moved a hundred meters before being ensnared by the silk-like green shadows.
In that moment, Kohen even felt that he was facing not four Mechas, but four ghosts roaming the stars!
Sensing extreme danger, Kohen steeled himself. All three auxiliary thrusters on his Mecha activated simultaneously. He performed a standard advancing spin maneuver, rapidly charging forward in an arc, his ion light saber sweeping through a cluster of light and shadows, each strike aimed at the vital spot of the green Mecha in front.
Better to break one finger than injure ten! He chose Baz!
Baz, who already had experience dueling with the Judger, fearlessly engaged in the deadly struggle. His green Mecha twisted and turned through the void, advancing and retreating. The ion dagger in his hand was cunningly vicious, always aiming at Kohen's lower body.
What kind of fighting style is this! Kohen, shocked and angry, was momentarily forced into a flurry.
The ion blade clashed against the dagger, bursting into brilliant white flashes. Seeing the other three Mechas closing in from the sides, Kohen could only sidestep, attempting to bypass the enemy in front to avoid being attacked from both sides.
The chubby face of a green Mecha flashed past his eyes, and suddenly, another chubby face appeared before Kohen!
Without thinking, Kohen raised his blade to strike.
But suddenly, the blade in his hand felt as heavy as a mountain. His body began to lose control.
The Mecha spun around like a top among the five green Mechas. The ion light saber raised above his head, yet it just wouldn't strike down. An invisible force bound him!
Seconds later, a disoriented Kohen heard a few strange noises from inside the Mecha's body, and he saw the vast starry sky.
The stars spun outside the transparent sealed control cabin.
Kohen stared blankly at the Judger, which now had a large hole in it, maintaining the hands-above-head stance, silently spinning into his view and silently spinning away again.
An overwhelming kaleidoscope of light and shadow finally settled before Kohen's eyes.
That was Brid, who had been driven to a dead end. At this moment, he had no room to dodge or escape against the five wolf-like green Mechas.
The battle had barely started, yet it was already at its end.
A green Mecha closed in on Brid's body, twisting the ion dagger viciously. The Mecha's left arm was torn off with a cruel twist.
Immediately, another green Mecha emerged from behind the first. The dagger in its hand drew a bone-chilling cold light upward from beneath. This time, it was the right arm, holding the ion light saber, that detached from the Judger's body.
Now armless, the Judger twisted and struggled mid-air. The green Mechas showed no sign of stopping.
Two green phantoms coldly passed by Brid's side.
Like the reaper's scythes, the two ion daggers slashed two arcs before and after in the air. In a flash of electric sparks, the Judger's two severed legs came loose, tumbling silently away into the depths of space.

Inside the battleship, a deathly silence reigned.
Everyone seemed petrified. Many of the Binart Soldiers still held their hands in celebratory gestures and reclined comfortably.
The pile of cash on the simulation table trembled slightly in the vibration of the warship's engines, like weeds in a cold wind.
A bone-chilling fear swept through every officer and soldier instantly. They could only stare dumbfounded, watching the screen as the two Judgers they had considered as lions were easily torn apart by ten ravenous wolves.
"Clang!" The wine glass in the ship captain's hand, raised in celebration, fell to the deck, shattering into pieces.
His eyes wide and vacant, mouth agape, his body rigid.
"This isn't real... this isn't..." he shook his head desperately, trying to wake himself from this nightmare, but a twisted flash of light shattered all his illusions.
It was Hanfrey's escape pod. The energy shield, with energy node indices reaching Destroyer levels, finally collapsed under the attack of the green Mechas!
"All warships, drop your weapons and surrender immediately."
A green Mecha arrogantly signaled with lights. Beside it, two green Mechas dragged back the wreckage of two Judgers, while a dozen or so other green Mechas curiously surrounded the escape pod, peering in through the windows.
In the nearby void, as a cluster of blue light streaked across like a curtain, an enormous and tattered mother ship appeared before everyone.
