From first only causing a few waves of pressure that pressed the still alive demon beasts close to the scene to the ground, it didn’t take long before the unrestrained sword qi surged forth like an unrelenting wave tearing through everything it passed through with no regard for friend or foe. The domain that had only been used for suppression a short time ago shrinking at a speed beyond comprehension to form a thin yellow colored barrier around the mountain itself-

And just in time, as the first sword arrived and found itself helplessly struggling against the paper thin yellow colored barrier, a reality that was repeated, as none of the swords were capable of breaking through the defensive barrier, let alone reach the demon beast itself to start testing out just how strong the outer shell of this massive demon beast truly was.

Stronger than expected, but still within reason...

Observing the swords exploding forth with terrifying power as they pressed down on the thin yellow barrier with unrelenting force from above without any sign of dissipating as he now hovered a few thousand meters away from the mountain shaped demon beast, Xuan Hao didn’t find the current situation that surprising. Having already expected this outcome to some extent considering the overall strength of those swords hadn’t reached the Land Creation Realm.

The one thing that did surprise him was the fact that the domain utilized by this demon beast had the ability to shrink and form into a barrier capable of withstanding all the attacks at the same time. After all, though the individual might of those hundreds of swords was at most within the Sea Formation Realm and had the ability to kill someone at the Sea Formation Realm, their combined strength had long since crossed into the Land Creation Realm and not just barely reaching the Early Stage of the Land Creation Realm, but close to the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm in terms of strength.

For the demon beast to resist it so effortlessly without even a single crack emerging on the yellow barrier, Xuan Hao essentially confirmed that the strength of this demon beast was at least comparable to the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

At the same time, he also confirmed what Dao this demon beast was proficient in, as the yellow barrier the same yellow as earth spiritual qi alongside the shape of the demon beast made it rather clear that it excelled at the Dao of Earth, likely also proficient in some related Daos like the Dao of Metal or a more specialized one like the Dao of Mountains.

Knowledge that made it far easier for him to decide on what to do next, as his gaze drifted over the unmovable yellow barrier for a split second before waving his hand before slashing downwards in a simple yet decisive motion. Dissipating the hundreds of swords attacking the earthen yellow barrier with the first movement before using the simple silver sword he had received from Yi Min in the past to execute the first move of the Heaven Splitting Sword Art, the Earth Splitting Sword.

Not the strongest of the sword moves he had learnt from the Heaven Splitting Sword Art, but by far the most useful move in the current situation, as the Earth Splitting Sword carried an inherent suppression against the Dao of Earth due to its most fundamental principle of being a sword art created to split the earth.

Of course, he was taking this interpretation to the extreme, as his intention wasn’t just to cut through the earth, but instead a mountain that could in some way still be considered part of the ground that had been lifted a bit higher than the rest of the ground.

And only a second after the earthen yellow barrier shifted to defend against the incoming sword slash from above with all its strength, did the attack arrive. Carrying with it all of Xuan Hao’s strength, as he hadn’t held anything back and launched the attack with his full strength. Drawing power from his newly formed inner world that allowed the one sword to explode forth with a power far above what someone at the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm should be capable of wielding. Exceeding even the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm and stepping into a domain that belonged to the Peak of the Land Creation Realm. Reaching the very edge of that realm.

But even in the face of such a terrifying attack, the mountain shaped demon beast held on. The earthen yellow barrier holding up for a good five seconds before shattering as it began resisting against the descending sword with its physical body alone, causing the rocks and stones that made up its body to crack and split apart to reveal the fleshy interior that burst apart creating rivers of blood running down the sides of the mountain shaped demon beast.

Even then, for a demon beast of this size, this kind of injury was nothing and it continued struggling against the descending sword before finally forcing it back after a five-minute struggle between itself and Xuan Hao.

The turn of events made Xuan Hao realize that this wasn’t going to be a battle he would be able to end in a few flashy moves. Narrowing his eyes in satisfaction, as a demon beast that died from him using only two moves was far from enough for him to get a chance to properly test out his strength after his breakthrough.

Not showing the slightest bit of hesitation as he jumped forward to clash head on with this demon beast-

Something that the other party more than welcomed, as the towering mountain shifted out of its defensive posture and morphed into an equally towering giant that met him head on in a clash that caused the earth around them to behave like water as it rippled outwards around them.

Not that either of them bothered with the damage they were causing to the surrounding environment, as they continued clashing violently with each other, Xuan Hao using everything from the simple Rain Sword Art to illusions conjured through the Dao of Illusion, while his opponent morphed into countless different demon beasts made out of rocks to counter the different Daos or techniques used by him. Forcing the battle to drag on as they continued ravaging through everything and anyone unfortunate enough to be in their path.
