Cultivating in the Wizard World
Chapter 350 - 314: Strategy and Upheaval
Three years have passed in the blink of an eye.
Outside the world barriers of the Giant Spirit Realm, the energy turbulence of the chaotic void continues to surge endlessly.
Jeming floats in a relatively stable airspace, carefully embedding the last metal substrate engraved with countless runes into a complex structure large enough to encircle a small planet.
As the spiritual power flows from his fingertips to complete the final activation and calibration, the lines of the entire enormous array light up one by one.
Blue luminescence outlines complex geometric patterns in the void, then quickly vanishes, leaving only faint ripples in space.
Through the Magic Network Terminal he carries, Jeming sends a brief message.
Soon after, a First Level Wizard, clad in standard gray robes, piloting a precisely structured anti-gravity vehicle, swiftly arrives.
This First Level Wizard stops in front of Jeming, respectfully performing a standard wizard salute: "Lord Jeming."
Jeming nods slightly in return and points to the seemingly empty void behind him, which is actually under the force field of a vast array: "Sector 73, Void Anchoring and Information Masking Composite Array; installation and debugging are complete, requesting acceptance."
The First Level Wizard, not daring to delay, immediately retrieves a multi-probe scanner from the bottom of the vehicle and conducts a comprehensive scan of the area Jeming indicated.
The device emits a slight hum, with data streams rapidly rolling across its screen.
A moment later, he shuts down the device and bows to Jeming again, affirming: "Confirmed correct, the array is stable, and parameters meet design requirements. Thank you for your hard work, Lord Jeming, the task is complete."
Jeming nods in satisfaction and says no more.
His figure transforms into a stream of light, heading towards the wizard fortress that floats like metallic mountains in the chaotic void in the distance.
Over these three years, the annihilation campaign against the Triangular Plane Community has been centered around the actions of the second strategic phase.
The second phase of strategic action has two core objectives. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
The first is the "cleanup" tasks Jeming has performed and most low and mid-tier wizards are executing—systematically clearing all cities, outposts, and industrial facilities of the Giant Spirit Realm, physically destroying the enemy’s war potential and living force.
Besides weakening the enemy directly, the greater strategic significance of this action is that it firmly captures the majority of the Triangular Plane Community’s attention, covering for another more covert operation.
The goal of the Wizard Civilization is to completely annihilate all civilizations of the Triangular Plane Community, and the Triangular Plane Community already possesses capabilities for cross-plane colonization.
Therefore, the command deliberately extends the timeline of the war, creating an illusion of "pressing closer, but still needing time to digest."
The purpose is to lure those strong figures and legions scattered across external colonial planes or on expedition missions of the Triangular Plane back to their homeland for total destruction.
Meanwhile, professional wizards skilled in stealth, disguise, and information theft have been quietly collecting coordinates of numerous external planes conquered or controlled by the Triangular Plane for the past three years.
The second action, based on these premises, constitutes an "insurance":
Personally led by the Seventh Level Wizard Obelus, together with over a dozen Sixth Level Wizards and vast resources, they secretly construct a super massive composite array in the expansive void surrounding the Triangular Plane Community.
The purpose of this array is singular—to completely seal off the void region where the Triangular Plane Community resides.
Cut off any potentially existing stable or temporary world channels leading to external planes, fundamentally eliminating the possibility of the three Masters of the World sensing the situation’s grim turn and fleeing with civilization seeds or core assets.
What Jeming has just completed is an insignificant node in this grand sealing network.
Through the Space Transmission Array within the fortress, Jeming returns to the temporary research camp located in the occupied zone of the Giant Spirit Realm.
He walks straight towards the laboratory assigned for his use.
For over two years, the wizards have not relaxed their research due to ongoing military actions.
Besides continually refining methods targeting the natives of the Giant Spirit Realm, research on indigenous peoples of the other two target planes—the Mind Realm and the Reproduction Realm—has already fully launched.
Jeming first approaches one side of the lab, where a precise Energy Confinement Field Generator stands.
In the center of the Restraint Field, a humanoid energy body constantly changing colors and contours weakly flickers, appearing feeble and dying.
This is a sample of the indigenous beings from the Mind Realm—a type of energy life form condensed from pure spiritual power.
Creatures of the Mind Realm are naturally skilled at cognitive interference and illusion technique construction, with their civilization founded on intricate mental networks and mental control.
Jeming pulls up the experiment log and quickly browses with a blank expression.
He attempts to develop a psychic virus capable of eroding and disrupting this pure spiritual structure.
However, calculating the data fluctuations and sample reactions recorded in the log, Jeming shakes his head helplessly.
"Still not working..." he murmurs softly.
Despite devoting significant effort, his accumulation in the domain of mental magic is indeed insufficient.
This disease named "Cognitive Disintegration" by him, after continually infecting the sample for ten days, remains insignificantly effective, far from meeting the standards for practical use.
It is essentially determined that his research project concerning the Mind Realm has failed this time.
