Just a few steps away, Gu Xingchen approached from the opposite direction!

"You can go back! If I find out Anxin’s disappearance involves you, don’t blame me for being ruthless!" With that, he shot Gu Xingchen a cold glance, then ignored him and walked past him.

Mu Beiting and Pete had just gotten into the business car when Ye Anxin’s phone in her bag started ringing incessantly.

Hearing Ye Anxin’s phone ring, Mu Beiting pressed his thin lips together and, after a moment’s pause, fished out the phone. Seeing the call was from home, he picked up directly. Xiao Bai’s displeased voice came through, "Mom, what are you doing? Why aren’t you back yet? Didn’t you say you were tired and needed rest? If you’re so tired, why did you go out? You also said you’d join Dad and me for dinner. I knew you were lying to me!"

Listening to Xiao Bai’s voice, Mu Beiting’s throat tightened. He opened his mouth several times, wanting to speak, but said nothing.

After putting the phone back, Mu Beiting was about to withdraw his hand when he saw a CD in the bag. His fingers twitched, and he took out the CD, flipping it repeatedly in front of him.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Pete saw Mu Beiting with the CD through the rearview mirror. Unable to resist, he glanced back. Upon seeing the label on the CD case, he remarked, "Boss, this CD was given to the Madam by Mr. Gu!"
