Chapter 763: Zhao Gouzi Is Back
On the second day, Ye Fei woke up early.
She saw Zhao Gushen still sleeping, looking deep in slumber, without any intention of waking up anytime soon.
Ye Fei didn’t wake him.

"Xiao Fei, why are you up so early?" The old lady saw Ye Fei coming in.

"I naturally woke up." Ye Fei said, coming over to also mention to the elders that Zhao Gushen and Xiao Mo hadn’t gotten up yet.
"What time did you come back last night?" The old lady asked again.
"It was past one o’clock," Ye Fei said, "We didn’t stay long at the banquet. It was rare for Gu Shen’s friends to gather so fully, so we decided last minute to hang out last night. Otherwise, who knows when we’d have another chance to all gather like this."
"They were happy and drank a bit too much, so they came back late," Ye Fei explained.
"Did Ye Ning go last night?" The old lady asked again.
The elders knew Ye Ning’s plans.
They understood that Zhao Gushen and Ye Fei were waiting for Ye Ning.
Ye Fei then recounted last night’s events to the elders.
"She used her only ’leverage’, so she has no other leverage left," Ye Fei said with a smile, "Even if she wants to try something new, she’ll have to find other ways."
However, Ye Ning might be unable to focus on them for a while.
After all, opening her restaurant in Ye City is impossible.
