Chapter 800: You Are Not Alone
"What do you want to eat?" Zhao Gushen asked the little guy.
Apart from bribing the little guy with ice cream, he might as well let him eat something he likes.
When the little guy is in a good mood and happy, he forgets about tattling to Ye Fei.
"I want to eat pizza," the little guy immediately said.
Although Ye Fei doesn’t let him eat fast food often, it’s not forbidden either.
So the three of them went to eat pizza together.
After coming out, Zhao Gushen bought him a small serving of ice cream.
Worried that eating too much might upset his stomach.
Having finished eating and warmed up a bit inside the store, they then headed to the parking lot to drive home.
Thinking about the fifth day, they’ll be meeting the Zhao Family’s relatives.
Ye Fei was still particularly nervous.
In the evening, Zhao Gushen was lying next to Ye Fei on the bed, so close that it was easy for him to sense Ye Fei’s restlessness.

"Now if I tell you not to be nervous, I fear you can’t do it. Even if you want to tell yourself not to be nervous, it’s not something you can just do as you wish." Zhao Gushen said.
Ye Fei nodded in his arms.
Zhao Gushen really understood her too well.
This genuinely comforted Ye Fei.
"But just think, no matter what happens, no matter how they react, I’m here, the elders and my parents are here, we’re all supporting you."
"And with us around, even if my second uncle really has some complaints, he won’t dare to say too much." Zhao Gushen said.

Ye Fei nodded.
She adjusted to a more comfortable position in Zhao Gushen’s arms and closed her eyes, "I know, I’m just nervous for a while. I’ll be fine after a bit."
Zhao Gushen smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Don’t force yourself to adjust." Zhao Gushen said, "But, isn’t my presence enough to reassure you?"
Ye Fei thought about it and agreed.
With Zhao Gushen around, what is there to fear?
Soon after, Ye Fei fell asleep.
"If my second uncle is easy-going tomorrow, that’s fine. If he says unpleasant things, just ignore him." Zhao Gushen said.
But after a moment, he didn’t hear Ye Fei’s response.
Looking down, Ye Fei was lying with her eyes closed, looking especially relaxed.
He felt her breathing become long and steady.
He knew she had already fallen asleep.
Zhao Gushen couldn’t help but chuckle.
She was just tossing and turning worriedly, unable to sleep, how come now she just fell asleep like that?
Zhao Gushen kissed her forehead again, pulling Ye Fei closer, and closed his eyes too.

The next day, Ye Fei woke up at eight.
She had gone to bed early last night, plus she still remembered today’s meeting with relatives at the old house.
So she woke up naturally without an alarm.
Upon waking up, she and Zhao Gushen were no longer in the positions they slept in last night.
But she was still in Zhao Gushen’s arms.
Zhao Gushen was holding her tightly.
No matter how Ye Fei moved, she might wake Zhao Gushen.
But since they were going to the old house today, it wouldn’t be good if the elders or relatives were already there and they hadn’t arrived yet.
Ye Fei had to gently move Zhao Gushen’s arm away.
Sure enough, as soon as she moved, Zhao Gushen woke up.
His eyes were still a bit bleary, his voice hoarse: "Why are you awake?"
"It’s eight o’clock," Ye Fei said, "I thought with the elders going to the old house, we’d better be there early to wait rather than arriving late."

"Eight o’clock?" Zhao Gushen’s mind was still not fully awake.
Ye Fei thought about it; once they finished breakfast, tidied up, and left, it would be at least 10 o’clock.
Arriving at the old house before eleven wouldn’t be considered early.
