Chapter 139: Chapter 139: He has arrived

Adrian’s situation was entirely different, he had tried to leave but he was intercepted by four level 3 vampires.

With his strength, enemies of this strength category couldn’t do anything to him but they managed to delay him.

To people with their speed, battles tended to be very quick and every second counted. The four vampires acted together, he realised they weren’t underestimating him.

Unfortunately for them, they were still not enough. Adrian took a step, he couldn’t use his more powerful teleportation.

So be used the ability to shrink space, he appeared in front of them like a shadow, before the man could react he found himself unable to move.

A powerful invisible force held him still but only for a moment, yet that moment was all it took.

Adrian stabbed his hand into the man’s chest and ripped out his heart. At the same time.

He conjured hundreds of weapons using his lunar esper, he fired them at the other three faster than bullets.

They conjured barriers using their blood esper but even though they were an entire level above him.

The difference in their grade was too much, his weapons shattered through the blood shields like they were glass.

However his attacks were still slightly delayed allowing them to dodge and immediately used blood morphis.

This increased not only their physical strength but blood esper. Their blood control became stronger and faster.

One of them, a middle aged looking woman conjured a giant bat made of blood with a wingspan of nearly 20 metres.

The other two also used other abilities, conjuring hundreds of blood swords that hanged in the sky like guillotines.

The last one was the most unique and probably the most foolish. He created armour.

Full body armour nearly 5 metres tall with arms as thick as logs. Obviously this blood suit of armour was strong.

However it was not enough to challenge a werewolf to a physical contest, let alone he the king of all werewolves.

Adrian was about to act when thick blood fog surrounded the entire place. He sensed a powerful aura.

He used lunar realm and saw multiple vampires appear through the blood fog and surrounded him.

He could also sense the distress of the four protecting Annie. ’ Damn these blood suckers.’ he cursed.

Adrian took a deep breath, he didn’t enjoy this as it damaged his pride as a wolf king but she was more important.

He went against his normal actions and decided to go all out. Even though these fools weren’t strong enough.

He couldn’t afford to be delayed by them and so he acted. His bones started creaking and his skin ripped apart revealing silver fur underneath.

Before his transformation ended he felt his pack stand around him. " Don’t worry about them my lord, do what you must."

Adrian remembered he wasn’t alone, he took a deep breath but he didn’t cancel his transformation.

A three metres tall silver giant of a werewolf appeared. His aura was so powerful the moon seemed to shine brighter.

Those who looked up could swear the moon appeared to be larger. The werewolves felt something too.

Being near his full form made their blood boil, their strength increased considerably much to their surprise.

The vampires also felt this terrifying aura from him. They instinctively took a step back.

Adrian moved, the werewolves moved with him. The vampires didn’t even have time to intercept him.

A level 3 vampire standing in front of him with multiple level 2 vampires didn’t have time to react.

Adrian was too fast, the vampire only a felt a tremendous force hit her but she didn’t even have time to register the pain.

Her body exploded into a mist of blood with body pieces flying everywhere. Her subordinates behind her faced the same fate.

Adrian didn’t stop and none dared to try and stand in his way anymore. He kicked off a building roof and shot like a loosened arrow.

Each jump cracked the roof below his feet but he made sure to not exert too much force lest he breaks the roof.

As soon as he left, Sam stretched his neck and yawned. " Alright, let get this over with." His body started changing.

He was transformation, the other Gemma werewolves followed, none dared to hold back.

" Naija." Suzie called out and Naija appeared with her giant wolf summon next to her, its fur glowing silver like that of Adrian.

" Yes lady Suzie." She responded with a respectful bow.

Suzie threw her a bag, " Give this to the others, it might give you a chance against these guys."

Naija looked inside the bag then nodded and ran around distributing what was in the bag as fast as she could.

After that, the battle began.

---------------------------------

Annie watched everything happening outside with confusion. She kept having a deja vu like she had experienced this before.

’ Why, why do I have this gut ranching feeling in my stomach, why do I feel like I know these strangers?’

She wondered, ’ No, that isn’t possible, I could never forget creatures that can do something like this.

This shouldn’t even be possible, things like this shouldn’t exist so why, why does it feel so real, so familiar.

Why do I want to reach and ask...what did I want to ask again!’ She kept getting more and more confused.

Nothing was making sense to her at all, their house was being destroyed by creatures that looked like human wolves.

Who were fighting what she could only describe as the mythical vampire considering the blood and fangs.

She watched everything and at the same time saw nothing, they were too fast yet even she knew those wolf men were losing.

" Please don’t lose." She found herself whispering out loud.

" Let’s go." Her father tried to drag her and the entire family away but she shook her head.

" I...I don’t think we should go dad." Her entire family looked at her like she was crazy.

" What are you talking about? We need to leave before those monsters get back, let’s go."

Her mother whispered as if afraid the monsters outside would hear her. Annie still shook her head.

" I can’t explain it ma but I know we’re safer here, we’re not going to be harmed here." Her words made her parents very frustrated.

Seeing those monsters outside, they didn’t even call the police, what could mere humans do against these things.

Annie didn’t move and continued watching, suddenly the road exploded and beneath the dust.

She saw one of those wolves kneeling in a crater on the street. A red streak that came with a hurricane trailing behind flew at wolf.

Just as they were about to collide, she saw a silver streak like a ray of moonlight flying from the side.

It collided with the red streak and the next moment she heard a loud explosion and the ground shook as if there was an earthquake.

Yet, instead of fear she felt relief, ’ Why do I feel so happy,?’ she felt tears falling down her eyes.
