Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Meggie VS Bloody Mary

Adrian’s domain spread out in a radius of 340 metres, for a newly formed domain, this was insanely huge.

When Naija detected it she went on her knees and started praying. Adrian ignored her.

He was getting used to her antics now, he closed his eyes and sensed his domain as well as its specialty.

His domain has replaced the ambient esper with his lunar esper, whatever ability he used inside this domain would have its effect enhanced.

Which would be the opposite for his opponents, secondly, he could infuse elements into this domain.

Adrian had abilities related to the basic elements like fire, water, wind etc and he can turn this domain to match them.

Infusing it with ice elements would make the domain extremely cold but in a different way from lunar esper.

Lunar esper wasn’t as cold as the ice element but it could effect both the soul and esper itself making it harder to deal with.

The only problem was that this was a gradual process unless ice which freezes things rapidly.

As for fire, he could make the domain hot enough to melt rock and any fire related ability of his would be significantly stronger inside it.

The same went for all the other elements, all in all he was quite satisfied with his domain, it had exceeded his expectations.

Then came the suppression effect of every domain, that of the wraiths could strip away the soul little by little.

His can slowly pollute your esper with lunar esper but above all else, he can slowly inject his venom into you through that esper.

The longer you stay within his domain the closer to death you’ll be, however the venom seemed to be significantly weakened.

Still, for something passive and unavoidable, it was quite powerful. He retracted his domain.

The werewolves felt the cool and refreshing atmosphere suddenly disappear which was a bummer.

Annie walked to Adrian with a smile, " Congratulations my love." She jumped into his arms.

He held her tight, this made the others cough reminding them they weren’t alone in the room.

Annie looked annoyed at them, " What? Get out can’t you see we’re busy." They smiled knowingly and left.

She started undressing him which was easy since he had nothing on his upper body but just as she was about to take her shirt off the room got dark.

They both turned and saw a bloody woman lying on his floor.

A few days ago

Meggie had been chasing the Bloody Mary for some time now. The Bloody Mary already had 10 of the twelve keys.

With only two remaining, Meggie didn’t have anytime to waste. She suddenly received information about where the Bloody Mary would be.

When she got there the victim was already dead and their soul and blood had formed the eleventh key.

Fortunately the Bloody Mary was yet to arrive, Meggie walked through the twelve rings of the Grieved Souls.

At their centre was a corpse of an old man, his eyes had melted and all of his blood had leaked out of the holes.

The blood coagulated on the ground and merged with his damned soul to form a half blood red and half pitch black sphere.

This was key she was looking for, twelve of them can break the seal of Bloody Mary, the real her.

Most people thought they’ve been multiple Bloody Mary’s in the past but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

The others were merely vessels to host the soul of the true Bloody Mary for a certain amount of time before she slumbers once again.

Every time she goes to slumber, her soul is sealed behind one of the twelve seals waiting for the apocalypse to come once more.

Meggie wanted to prevent the rise of the true Mary, if others thoughts this was bad then they would think the true Mary’s rise is true hell.

Countless people will die, at that point, even the innocent will be caught in the crossfire. She reached down to grab the key.

Just as she was about to touch it the temperature around her dropped so low frost appeared in her body.

’ Damnit, I was too slow.’ but she was not worried, not at first that was. Meggie didn’t waste a moment and activated her domain.

As a level 8 great witch, her domain could stretched for tens of kilometres, her esper was so thick it changed the surroundings.

Meggie’s domain was different from that of other witches, since currently she can use magic from eight of the nine covenants.

Eight pillars rose from the ground in different parts of her domain, each one representing the eight schools of magic.

( Alchemy Magic, Divination Magic, Abjuration Magic, Elemental Magic, Enchantment Magic, Conjuring Magic, Shamanic Magic, Nature Magic.)

Meggie had mastered the spells from these eight as well as Arcane Magic which doesn’t fall under the umbrella of the nine covenants.

The only magic left was the one within the memories held by the demon, she stood next to the pillar of the abjuration magic.

The temperature kept getting lower making her frown, with a thought from her, the elemental magic pillar lit up.

Thunder and lightning roared, bolts of lightning as thick as a bucket bombarded the ground.

Lightning was quite effective against the undead, it was unfortunate that her solar magic from the arcane branch was poor.

Otherwise she would’ve used the power of the sun which was even more effective against them.

The lightning continued falling like spears, craters formed on the ground, lava flowed on them forming ponds of flaming mud.

Yet the temperature kept dropping, the pillar behind Meggie lit up, she used abjuration magic to form a barrier.

She infused her weak solar energy into the barrier turning it into a barrier of sunlight, this slightly raised the temperature in her immediate surroundings.

Then fog rose from the ground, the fog started faint and light but grew darker and denser.

Eventually it got so thick it blocked her sight which shouldn’t have been possible inside her own domain unless.

Meggie froze, ’ I messed up, this thing is already a demigod.’ she realised that a bit too late.

This fog was the semi-divine realm of the Bloody Mary, Meggie saw figures rising within the fog.

’ Dead spirits.’ she gritted her teeth, these spirits appeared endless and she knew within this semi-divine realm, she couldn’t exercise them.

Meaning either she has to find a way out of this semi-divine realm or she’ll be forced to fight until she dies of exhaustion.
