I read a lot of world-hopping system yaoi light novels so that's why I forgot the title of this one. Especially since this is just one of the many arcs and worlds in this novel.
It's a zombie a apocalypse and mc transmigrates into the body of a researcher that gets killed by the ml who goes back in time. The mc has to make a cure and is not above torture to get what he needs, there's a time where the power goes out and mc decides to calculate the impossible in place of a computer. Mc doesn't take care of his body and starts to vomit blood with his only desire being to see the sun again. Mc does after making the cure
in the second half, it's the second loop and some people have also gone back in time, ml decides to protect mc in exchange the mc makes the antidote. They build a farm and a safe haven but mc still ends up dying and the ml goes insane becoming very protective in the next world/arc.
