Just then, the noses of the five Hunting Dogs twitched, and they suddenly whipped their heads around.

A Steel Beast appeared behind the Hunting Dogs in a blur of motion. Its right hand transformed into a Steel Blade, and it lopped off the head of one of the beasts with a single slash.

The other four Hunting Dogs pounced toward the Steel Beast. Wielding its Steel Blade in a frenzy, the Steel Beast unleashed a flurry of terrifying slashes that instantly chopped the four Hunting Dogs into pieces.

Ode’s brow furrowed. He spun around and lashed out at the Steel Beast with his claw.

BANG!

With a deafening crash, Ode was sent flying by the Steel Beast’s blade. He was struck by Spiritual Ghost Thunder, and his body was wracked with intense, paralyzing pain.

Ode’s expression changed. ’Damn it! I’ve run into a powerful enemy!’

A Spear of Light shot from the distance, flying straight for Ode.

Ode’s face fell. He activated his Power of a Void Demon, and while still in mid-air, his body shifted to the side.

The Spear of Light slammed into Ode’s shoulder, completely shattering it and knocking him out of the air. The Power of Light, imbued with a terrifying Purification Power, coursed through his body, burning him and making him scream relentlessly.

The Steel Beast lunged forward and cleaved Ode in two with a single slash.

The Steel Beast turned and glanced at Sarime, causing the elf’s body to tremble in fear. She gripped her war bow, staring intently at the creature.

"Hey, Elf! We don’t mean you any harm! But as payment for saving your life, your companions’ equipment now belongs to us!"

Shu Feng walked over from the distance with a faint smile. By his side were Su Mi, Shui Lingyan, Zhang Ying, and three Dragon Hunting Dogs. It was one of these Dragon Hunting Dogs that had discovered Ode’s trail, allowing Shu Feng to hunt him down and finish him off.
